Keith, this is your Episcopalian friend. But as I posted on the CTS yesterday, not for long. I have been an Episcopalian for all of my almost 72 years, but last January I began to attend ST. Leos here in Tacoma, and I will be in their next RCIA class. Thank you for your part in my education this far.
The flip side of this issue is that I have recently been banned by a couple of anti-Catholic RUclips channels because they didn't like the fact that I was providing solid Catholic responses to their RUclipss and the dozens of hateful comments that followed. Why do you believe X? Where is Y in the Bible? And then when you explain or show them IN THE BIBLE, they still don't accept the answers. I'm happily shaking the dust from my feet. 😇
Amen to that. Keep shaking the dust from your feet brother! One thing I never noticed before until now is that not all protestants, but many seem to be in a cult like following, with all their hatred. These are the ones you can shake the dust off your feet from.
I’m not saying you didn’t already do this, but a few days ago I thought a comment of mine had been deleted, and here you have to switch from “Top comments” to “newest,” Or they don’t all show up. I don’t know why.

100 percent, this comes up a lot in many different commentary channels that I watch: deleted comments. 99.99 percent of the time it's RUclips. There was a problem with RUclips comments recently due to spam. RUclips kind of swung the other way, and now a lot of comments are are just automaticall deleted.
Ultimately, it’s your channel, brother. You make the rules. Delete comments at your discretion (just not mine! 🤣). Let them cry if they must. You’re doing too much great work to even worry a bit about the haters.

I often wondered but I also know how RUclips and the comment section is. You can post, go back 15 seconds later and it's gone! So I've since assumed that any comments missing are the flaw of the system.
Sow the Seed of Truth (Catholicism)... whether it lands on rocky ground, under the thistle or in fertile soil... we can only sow the seeds. (Mk 4:3-9) Ultimately it's up to Him how it lands or how it may blow about. Maybe it'll land into a fertile crack on the rocky ground... blow out from under the thistle onto fertile ground... but you do what you can. Drop the mic, walk away. Don't be a pestering off-putter like the "Do you know Jesus?" "Is Jesus your personal Lord and Savior?". I just turn and walk away from those people... so cringe. If I had hair covering my body... the hackles would make me 10' tall. Anyway, when you drop the Truth, it's up to the other person what they do or don't do and condemn themselves possibly... but we cannot presume the Grace of God at their personal judgement as He may offer Salvation and the person accepts. It's the acceptance or denial of any grace He puts forth that condemns us to eternal life, or eternal death (separation into Hell).
2:05 I'm pretty sure some videasts have decided automatic deletion of links. The problem is, sometimes, I want to notify someone I have engaged either with their video or with their debate in the comments section _and republished it_ on my blog. And the notification would normally take the means of providing the link to where my comments or our interaction are, so, the other one can check he's not being misrepresented. If they have an email in the description of the channel, fine, I'll try using that instead. But many haven't.
One problem that I think is really lamentable that I've seen (on other channels) is when a Catholic who makes a video makes a real error about Catholicism and won't take a charitable correction from a Catholic source presented by a fellow Catholic and instead they hide or delete the comments. And it runs the gamut from liberals, conservatives to traditionalists.
Protestants are projecting when they accuse Catholics of worshipping Mary. They medidtate on the Theotokos and come to the conclusion that "she's a goddess," and then claim that "that" is what we think. Per Gaius Julius Caesar, "men so readily believe that which they wish were true," and, "what we ourselves think, we imagine others think also."
If I had to describe Mary in a single word, I'd say, "godly;" so I can see where the misunderstanding emanates from. Alternatively, I'd probably use the term: "christian." So to speak, if we're not in the least 'Marian' in our behavior, conduct, and habit, we are far from being Christ-like. Thus it is that she isn't first among equals but rather first amongst those being made equivalent (for zero sins are permissible before the thrice most Holy God/be ye therefore perfect.../be ye therefore holy.../be ye therefore merciful.../et cetera). Thanks for reading!
the Greatest Grace gifted by our Creator is LOVE. WHICH LIKE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS A ROCK versus A CASTLE MADE OUT OF SAND. However we humans can be hard headed like a rock. OUR INTENT IS FOR THE CHURCH, WHICH BY THE RULES OF RUclips HELPS THE ALGO.
Nope! Do not delete comments because you never know who, could be reading it for the first time, and it could change their view towards Catholicism! 3:02
I get what you’re saying, @GrandmaLynn. I think on the wall of words Keith was saying he doesn’t interact with those comments because of time constraints. I don’t think he was saying he deletes them. RUclips deletes a LOT of comments.
I think I should rephrase that! Comments that are hateful and offensive should be deleted but comments that have a good reply from you, Keith, or anyone supporting your topic, should remain because that’s when a comment could be educational for someone who opposes what you say.
Honestly I am so tired of wasting time on these Protest-ant comments. It reminds me of the little black birds who screech, attack, and constantly harass the beautiful Red Tail Hawk near my house. Conversely, he just soars and lives in his grandeur - completely oblivious to them. The difference is the screeching Protest-ants can become hawks if they want!!
The Gospel is the message of salvation Christ has given us and is given through and spread by and in the life of His Church, His Mystical Body. The Church is the vehicle of the Good News and out participation in Christ's redemptive work as His hands and feet on the Earth.
@@LostArchivist So, would you both say that God has no authority (no kingdom) outside of the church? Is that the limit of the sovereignty of God according to the Catholic catechism? And would you say that if is wasn't for the Church, God would not have a kingdom nor have any sovereignty?
@@mlauntube Of course not, for one God is sovereign over nature and over the angels and as Judge and Author of history and the nature of reality and as the Author of Salvation as well. If there are ever confirmed to be any other intelligent species in physical reality, these could arguably be outside of the scope of the Church, but clearly would be under God's Divine Sovereignty. Looking at the matter of God's Kingship on a different level, Christ is King and so, while we are subject to what He has proclaimed, He is bound to His promises by Himself alone. The Church teaches that while the sacraments are the ordinary and so preferred means of salvation, God can in ways only known to Himself, still save those who of no fault of their own do not come into His Church. And God's Providence is not limited to what can be found in the Church and besides that, it is the Holy Spirit Who safeguards and guide the Church not the other way around and clearly the Holy Spirit is not bound by the Church as were that the case, there would be no way for those who do not know Christ to be lead to the Faith as it is only by grace that we can approach God or even accept His grace. Also God clearly was still sovereign in the time before the Incarnation and even before the time of the Old Covenant and will be after the Second Coming.
@@LostArchivist Amen, and amen! That was so wonderfully put! When I suggested a focus on the Kingdom, it is only in the sense that Jesus and the Apostles and the Gospels do so. I hope these scriptures will bless you: Matthew 3:1-2 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Matthew 9:35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. Matthew 10:7 (Jesus sends out the 12) As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Revelation 14:6-7 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth-to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mark 1:1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Luke 2:10 - 11 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 10:9 (Jesus sends out the 72) Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ Luke 23:42-43 (the thief on the cross) Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” John 1:11-13 He came to that which was his own [the Jews], but his own did not receive him [as King]. Yet to all who did receive him [as King], to those who believed in his name [his authority], he gave the right to become children of God- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God [to be born again]. Acts 1:3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. Acts 20:25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. 1 John 4:2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

We disagree on tactics and strategy, that's it!
It's also important to recognise the difference between an "Apostate" and an "Unbeliever".
I just apply 2 Timothy 2:16.
Haha. "Volumes of essays." Good one. Damn bookwriters.
The Way is to live by Faith, Hope, and Charity with charity the greatest of the three.
1 Cor 13:13
the Greatest Grace gifted by our Creator is LOVE.
Thank you
Nope! Do not delete comments because you never know who, could be reading it for the first time, and it could change their view towards Catholicism! 3:02
I agree if its common dissent. There are some awful and disgusting comments that should be deleted.
I think he explains clearly the rare times that he deletes comments. And they're valid.
Its strange that Anti Catholics hate us because we love our Mother Mary.
You tubers absolutely have to delete comments and block people! some people are hateful and some are just CRAZY. Yes delete delete delete!
Here’s nothing wrong with deleting comments or blocking people.
Keith Nester, You weren't a Protestant Christian to begin with.
You may want to present the Gospel instead of the church.
It's a package deal.
I hope these scriptures will bless you:
Matthew 3:1-2
In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Matthew 4:17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Matthew 4:23
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
Matthew 9:35
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
Matthew 10:7 (Jesus sends out the 12)
As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Revelation 14:6-7
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth-to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Mark 1:1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God,
Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Luke 2:10 - 11 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Luke 10:9 (Jesus sends out the 72)

Luke 23:42-43 (the thief on the cross)
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
John 1:11-13
He came to that which was his own [the Jews], but his own did not receive him [as King]. Yet to all who did receive him [as King], to those who believed in his name [his authority], he gave the right to become children of God- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God [to be born again].
Acts 1:3
After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
Acts 20:25

1 John 4:2
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
1 John 5:1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
