I started with simple things to change my narrative and take care of myself, stopped drinking, ( It was how I was able to ignore my needs and feelings of failing myself..) I started exercising to regain some self confidence. I have a great opportunity to start my own business, but have been struggling with the insecurities of leaving a steady job and not having any support from the relationship corner. I know it will be so amazing doing the same work ( I’m a small engine mechanic) I have the backing of so many customers and being on my own would allow me to do so many things I love, plus start my own channel passing on information on fixing things…. You have said all the things, I have thought, but find ways to ignore. And the shadow work…. Yes, I have done some, but it was 5 years ago and just before I got myself in this new school of hard knocks, where I’m learning some valuable lessons…… but it’s time to graduate….

Yes we were supposed to have known our joy before we started working. I did 20 years almost as well, in healthcare, as a speech therapist in nursing homes. But we are the types that give too much and are supposed to learn to receive so we are giving in authentically actually, when we haven't given to ourselves first. What we experienced is likely the fawning response from childhood trauma which is the people pleasing or do-gooder type of personality. Aries totally claiming this - I depended my spiritual journey this year into a practice. It started June 2023 but I didn't understand just how changing and healing my path a head would be. I met my twin flame that I couldn't be with of course but that started me towards learning about divine feminine and divine masculine as well as delving deeper into tarot. Jump ahead to 2024 and learning about cord cutting rituals and return to sender rituals that, on the recommendation of a tarot reader a road opener ritual on October 17 (reading and first road opener on the Full moon). Then next road opener on Halloween that started a 10 day road opener ritual repeat and connection to Spirit and introduction to my spirit guides. What happened on those days was amazing and healing - too much to write here but I am now on my path to connecting with Spirit and my Guides in a meaningful way.
