I drive Brezza ZXi smart hybrid. Please be aware of the fact that Smart Hybrid kicks in when there is frequent start and stop. On a highway Smart Hybrid will hardly kick in as you are mostly cruising at a constant speed. Drive the same car in city and that is where you will see the difference. Also I believe that the engine of new 2023 model has been further tuned so highway mileage will be even more than the Smart Hybrids bought in early 2023. Mine is 2022 Dec model and with 11 K on the odo. I get a mileage of 21km/liter on highway with a speed between 80 and 90 and AC set to 20 Deg with 4 occupants.

Very good sir i didn't expect that much milage from brezza after removing smart hybrid . This simply means that smart hybrid is only a marketing gimmick
No he is expert driver..mileage depends a lot on how you drive..even from bad car he can extract good mileage like in tata punch he did..

Copied from Times of India article. I can't post the link here but you can google it. Brezza also shared the same SHVS. This article only talks abt 71cr regarding customs and doesn't include the discount which is availed during registration with the RTO for cars with actual hybrid tech that'll also come under the total recovery amt.
So I think this removal may have been done for some settlement with the government but who knows. If this car is retaining it's good mileage even after the hybrid removal then this overall "mild hybrid" system may have only been there to fool the customers.
I own Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 CRDI SX Manual Transmission 2013 model.
My daily running is 65kms (50 kms on Highway)
Maintain speed of 80-90.
And im getting 22-23 kmpl.
Im so satisfied with a 10 year old machine. ❤️

@@devanshubharadwaj don't panic, reset the mileage after every refuel to get actual mileage everytime. In the city, if any car stands idle with AC on drops mileage drastically.
Keep RPM below 2000, change gears between 1800-2000 rpm. Don't Rev the engine above 2500. Thats all I follow and get maximum mileage.

Good to see a person with driving knowledge.. I follow the same rules most of the times and drive my Nexon (petrol) with ease, it easily gives 23-24 kmpl on highways with AC on after maintaining speed in between 70-80.... In winters, i am able to increase it to 26/27 as well... it all depends upon driving.
PS: I also enjoy Turbo power on random occasions but then average drops with rough acceleration

For actual mileage, please use top fill method. First cut is different from nozzle to nozzle. If you fill to the brim & after drive again fill to brim, then you can get actual mileage

I have driven my smart hybrid vxi 8k+ kms and I feel smart hybrid is just a gimmick feature. Yes it helps in boosting the acceleration a little bit when we press the accelerator hard but it never comtributes in giving extra mileage.

@@junaidrafiq1368 regarding your need, u can definitely go with brezza. Super smooth. Its not underpowered even with 6 prople, i have done many long trips with it with 6 people, you just need to be in correct gear. But a personal suggestion, if budget allows then go with zxi. But vxi also has all neccessary features. Don't go for lxi and zxi plus
Bhai Auto cut me kabhi exact nahi aata mileage. Noozel ko koi 5 inch ander dalker autocut kerta hai koi 8 inch. Actual jab brim tak bhar ker test kroge to alag ayga mileage.

Mileage for our car is absolutely vague. Because everyone’s driving and driving conditions are different. To get a good mileage you must drive with a light right foot. I could get 21km/ltr mileage to my S CROSS ZETA petrol (2022 model) on highway. And in total, that is bad road,hilly area,highway, I could get 18km/ltr. It’s a smart hybrid. But when I crossed speed of 75, RPM would cross 2k. That’s a pain.

I have Smart Hybrid Brezza 2022 zxi MT. I am getting 19/20 kmpl on the highway and 13/14 kmpl locally.
So do you agree that Hybrid was a scam and I should continue my booking with Brezza only, I really don't like nExon and have budget constraints going upwards to Grand Vitara or Hyryder, though they have hybrids.

Sir, well said, As, i have seen in youtube video's claiming of low mileage, as I maintain speed above 40 km in the city and on highway 60-80 km with light foot, and we'll get 13-15 km in the city and on highway 18 km above.
It all depends on our driving style, car condition, roads, traffic, fuel we are using, etc. Under test conditions, with 4+1 passengers and a fully packaged luggage boot and with 26 Celsius AC, while driving on a light foot between 70 and 80 km/h, my Vitara Brezza gave me whooping 21.6 kmpl on the highway in a mixed city and highway driving 18.1 kmpl.

The problem is sometime insurance claim gets rejected in case car catches fire due to reason of after market modification.

Delhi se Vrindavan jismein main Delhi mein bhi drive kiya tha Kareeb and 50 KM Jana 50 KM Aana Nangloi Delhi to Badarpur Border, and Local drive bhi kiya tha Varindavan to Barsana 45 KM,
and Vrindavan mein Khadi Gadi mein AC use😅 Kiya tha 2 Hours,
Ghar pahuchne ke baad meri avarege thi 20.2 KM per litre, with 4 person 70*4 = 280 KG,
My New Tata Punch phase 2 gives me 15.5 km in local aur maine car ko hard acceleration bhi kiya hai...highway par test krna baki hai...total run 1260 km in 25 days😊😊

Always try that RPM should not go above 2500.

For mileage test brim to brim is accurate and not cut to cut😔
Autocut to autocut is the only proper way to calculate fuel efficiency provided you fill from the same dispenser (ideally) though it may not be possible every time. Tankful to tankful is not recommended by the automobile companies because you should not fill over autocut due to possible fire hazard. Some space should be available for expansion of fuel.

Gaadi agar break-in period par ho, fir bhi 100-120 le jaana normal cheezen hoti hai. Yaad rakho, apki nayi engine SPEED se nhi, RPM se damage hoti hai. Kayi log nayi gaadi ko 5-6 hazar RPM par bhagate hain, jisse engine permanently damage ho sakti hai.
Baki as a BREZZA ZXI smart hybrid owner myself, isse acchi VFM vehicle segment me nhi h

My xcent 1.2 petrol gives 19 (tested 2 times tank full) with 4 passenger 80-90% ac use on highway speed maintain 75-80kmph.
70kph at 2000rpm 80kph at 2200rpm. Thats why mileage less than swift petrol it runs at 2000rpm at 80kph.
Company recommendation is 21kmpl in hybrid brezza .... if you are achieving that milage nothing new and already proven than what is being proved here and why
