Well the turbine blades do get very hot at MTO, approx. 800°C depending on the engine.
Up, up into the night . . . reminding me of Overseas-Flights to Vienna, which usually took off between 5 & 7PM

Pretty cool. I remember seeing this on old Learjet 24/25’s, or sitting behind pre NG 737-3/4/500’s. Always a glow even at idle, then when they put the fuel to it, full glow.

@@matthiashaenni Matt my good friend, no problem, & you are welcome, I'm having problems with mine also as this new 5G cell phone service is confusing phones, computers, wi-fi's, also avioncs on jets, especially ILS, & altimeter, giving false readings, there are currently 5 Boeing models that are grounded/forbidden by the FAA from flying into certain airports with cell towers nearby, 2 pilots on 1 Boeing jet reported an altimeter call reading of 200( 20, 000 ft.), I know that we know to drop the zeroes from ATC, but they were on final & were actually truly just above two hundred feet prior to reaching audible minimums alert. FAA & FCC are in a battle over these incidents as well as airlines & cell phone services, God Bless You & D from T & I , btw, if I can find out, I will let you know what 5 Boeing jet models are involved & update you.

Thanks, Matthias: interesting that the cabin lights stayed on during take-off. I guess the regulation must only apply to commercial flights. (Maybe these rich people”s eyes adjust more quickly than those of us lesser mortals…)
