One of the RUclips people I genuinely fuck with their content/jib. Showing past and current songs, culturing the newer generation. Lord knows they need it. Also accurate/on point with everything, and as far as I've seen, He's the only one doing it. Or at least doing it best. Edit-only one showing where current songs come from or remix or covers and samples we know today. Showing where the 'insperation' came from is important.
Can u please do the beginning of this is what falling in love feels like, the violin part bc I swear I’ve heard it before and I just know it’s a melody that wasn’t only recently created or maybe I’m just crazy! Pleaseeeeee
I love these. I remember when the Fugees did their song "Ready or Not", and I told someone they sampled Enya's song "Boadicea" for the back beat, they didn't believe me. I was so mad. I dont know why, but it made me mad. Probably because I was right.
This is why I love sampling, the originals artists music can go on and on for many years, and though the music evolves and changes over time, there is always the base melody and I'm sure these people would be amazed to see how far their melody has come.
Goyte's "Somebody that I Used to Know." Sample was no mystery. He made a documentary on "Making Mirrors". Every song was sampled and some songs even used two song samples with him adding his own flare, lyrics, and music to each track. The first album I ever bought and still a work of art til this day.
@@puderkman it’s not a cover if the original artist is never mentioned and the one who used their songs and sound word for word, dies being credited with all of the praise and glory. Elvis stole all of his biggest hits from black artists who weren’t allowed to be in the music industry at the time and he was credited with creating the sound for decades before anyone acknowledged where it actually came from. He’s dubbed the “king of rock and roll” yet his known songs come from others who we never mention. Elvis whole damn career is a cover. Gwen created that cover in the modern music industry where artists have to legally grant credits to original creators so I’ll acknowledge that as a proper cover.
