Never in my life have I been this loved and honestly as much as I smiled on the outside seeing a mom and dad genuinely care for their kid, I equally died inside.
Just a little bit of contexted. I got told I was an accident from my own mother at age 15. My biological dad abandoned me before I was even born. One of the best moments of my life was during my residency. I was working way too much but got Christmas day off. As I was sitting in my living room that morning with my wife, I saw my mom and dad, who lived 300 miles away, walk past my front window and up to my front door. I was in my early 30's but felt like a little boy on Christmas morning once again.
