Sinulog is the biggest festival in the Philippines. It is celebrated every third Sunday of January.

Actually, CALABARZON area is easy to reach due to superb roads and many connecting highways. Cavite is quite near, particularly Tagaytay City. It has been opened tho there are some checkpoints. Another is Batangas. Had visited a farm w/ lots of Rambutan trees. Also, some lanzones. LUV THESE FRUITS!

The ad breaks down the different places into regions. So, each ad feature showcase the different regions from the 3 major island groups. For example, CALABARZON and Metro Manila fron Luzon, Cental and Western Vizayas from the Vizayas, SOCKSARGEN in Mindanao. The order of the ad features makes it easier for travellers to plan because each place or region is grouped to the bigger island groups (again Luzon, Vizayas, Mindanao). I'm a local and can't wait to travel again.
I'm watching this now, October 14 and I heard them saying "Its raining here, take us to the Philippines". Little did they know that its ironically raining here for almost 48 hours non stop.

From Socksargen here..our region is known for pineapples, tuna, lake sebu and 7 falls, bird sanctuary and other fruits and crops since our region is mostly valleys and surrounded by mountains.

The desert in Zamboanga is not Halo-Halo, its a Knicker Bucker, its just like halo2x but the difference is that knicker bucker the ingredients is fruits like, banana, watermelon, mango and etc.

Its so sad to see how bias the Department of Tourism PH, they didn't include Cagayan Valley Region in Luzon, as if the region can't offer something. The region has BATANES Island province which is similar to New Zealand in terrain, Quirino Province that is very similar to Palawan's nature, Cagayan that has civilization cave and white beaches, Isabela that has white sand beaches similar to Boracay facing the Pacific, Nueva Vizcaya that is similar to the Cordillera region high altitude towns and cold climate. Very sad.
