One of my favourite things to find and enjoy is music that gives me chills and goosebumps. I was cruising RUclips recently and discovered a Russian talent show contestant that did just that, with one of the best, most unique voices I've heard in many years. Her delivery was nothing short of magical and I searched out more and more and more, and...more chills.
I was stunned to find that the first performance I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 18 (31 may) and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English and Arabic.
The covers she performed on that show are very popular on RUclips. Many RUclipsrs publish reactions on these performances, which include the ethnic song "River" (in a new musical arrangement), "Blizzard", "Wicked Game", "Human", "Derniere Danse", "Take On Me" and others.

Most tagalog words has more syllables than in english that's why it sounds faster when they speak in tagalog. That is also why most filipinos prefers to speaking taglish because some english words are waaaaaay shorter than their translation in tagalog.

We speak slowly when using the English language because we think in Pilipino, not in English. We then translate it in English, at the same time, we try to find the right words, the right tense of the verb, correct grammar, right pronunciation, then the words come out of our mouth, hoping we're making sense . All these take place in seconds. Also, we try to enunciate each word so we'd be understood.
That's true we are not native english speaker that's why we kinda uses our native first inside our head translating before switching into our mouth to speak the english language we constructed.

We Filipinos speak foreign phrases or words like spanish, chinese, malaysian, indonesian, english that we don't even notice because those are part of our language already. It's because Philippines has been colonized by Spain long time ago. And some other southeast asian countries also went here before the spanish era wherein we have adopted some part of their culture, languages, food, even the genes, etc.
