There was supposed to be more of her. She was planned to be the love interest of Cooper but out of jealousy the plans were changed and they came up with Annie on the go. This is why Annie as a character feels a bit rushed and this is why we had less episodes with her too. Maybe in an alternate timeline Audrey had more screentime and the show had a better ending.. :D
