Agree he plays great, but as mentioned the grins and antics are very unnecessary and take away from the mood and the piece itself…not what Joplin had in mind

Эта пьеса предназначалась для бар-пианистов и должна была создавать приятное безмятежное настроение в ресторане. Конечно можно сыграть значительно быстрее, но будет-ли это лучше? Есть такое понятие "slow food", а к нему подходит "slow music".
