Used to go Puerto Banus every year, really loved it, decided to get the ferry and drive down last September, when we arrived after driving from Santander, weather turned and was terrible, and banus was a lot quieter than normal, covid was still impacting tourism.
Well done on 25k firstly & you deserve every one of them We met my sister & friend in Sinatra bar there while we visited (they were in a private holiday home outside the Port ) We found it very expensive but beautiful & amazing atmosphere How the other half live lol & certainly need the Euro Millions to stay ! Great vlog Thanks Kevin xx👍👍
Not just expensive shops but cars and boats, it’s brilliant news that you’ve got 25k subscribers it’s well deserved I’m sure it will continue increasing your a nice genuine guy Kevin
Definitely a very upmarket part of Marbella Kevin. People dressed to the nines, walking about just to be seen . No prices in the shops, as the saying goes if you have to ask you can't afford it. How the other half live. Great video Kevin as usual. 👍
When someone walks several miles with a damaged foot in high temperatures to provide viewers with useful information I reckon that is genuinely amazing. That's simply my opinion. You're entitled to your opinion also and I have no problem with that.
Hey Kevin, when you hit a million subscribers you’ll have to hire that last boat and throw a huge party for us all🥳 Puerto Banus… it’s ok for a day, but give me the beautiful old towns any time. Here’s a challenge…. As well as finding a cheaper drink, see if there’s a Primark down the side streets 🤣😉
Finally got to watch this vlog. Nice spot to take a walk in. Don't think I could afford to go beyond the door of those shops. How the other half live. Not for me. I am happy with my cheap bottle of wine from the supermarket.
It's not too pricey for a pint in the main square, not far from the harbour. Alternatively, go up to San Pedro about 1km away, we got three pints, three cokes and three large Smirnoffs for €15. I speak enough Spanish to ask the waiter if he'd undercharged us, he hadn't.
@@tuvabru-nost1592 Well I didn't order in Spanish, they only knew I spoke any Spanish after seeing how cheap it is in San Pedro. We went back a few days later and the prices were the same.
@@tuvabru-nost1592 We were all inclusive but still like to drink out. Most places were charging €3-4 for a pint, large Vodka is about €4-6 and most places rip you off with the soft drinks, usually about €2 each so to get 3 beers, 3 large Smirnoff and 3 cans of coke for €15 is very cheap. Worked out at €1 for the coke and €2 each for the pints and vodkas.
Love your videos Kevin. You're visiting all my favourite places this week! Just have to point out - I accidentally turned on subtitles - I think RUclips is having trouble with a Scots accent - try it!
So Caoimhin padhraig Mac con Ulaid congratulations on your 25k viewers ,well deserved and your family tree hail from County Monaghan Ireland but anyway you can walk to San Pedro along the coast in about 15 to 20 minutes for cheaper bars as we stayed there so something to ponder about for different videos but as your the saint now we bow to your hidden gems 😃😀🙃🙃
Great video Kevin & excellent news that you’ve hit the 25k subs - i know you’ll take this in your stride but its a fantastic achievement & i really appreciate everything youve passed on to help me with my channel. Youre a legend mate! Take care - catch up soon! 👍👍
Correct details around 20 euro all you can drink for 1 hour. Think I managed 8 beers 😂 H10 Andalucia Plaza Hotel now a Hard Rock. La Pappardella restaurant just before the big boat at the end is the best in PB in my honest opinion. Great video 👍🏻
That last huge yacht... The new $160 million superyacht (£100 million) owned by Kirsty Bertarelli, a songwriter and former Miss UK who recently became the wealthiest woman in Britain, just set sail for its maiden voyage, the Daily Mail reports.
Here is a bit of my boating knowledge.....a "Head" is the toilet. "Galley" is the Kitchen. The small cushion bouys dangling over the edge of the boats are "Fenders". "Bow " is the front, "Stern" is the rear......No "Port" "Left" in the bottle and "Starboard" is the Right hand side....if looking back to front.
I went in Sinatra's once in the 1980s on a day trip from Benalmadena I ordered a Cinzano and lemonade for the wife and a Bacardi and coke for me, now you have to remember this was in the days of pesetas and the bill would have been around 200 pesetas in a bar in Benalmadena, we finished our drinks and I asked for the bill and took 4 100 peseta notes out of my pocket to pay the waiter he looked at me and said it was 1500 pesetas (£6) and that was in 1986, needless to say I didn't stay for another drink.
You can pay €25 to a Jack Daniels and coke there but it's an experience though. Love the Costa del sol. I have been going to Calahonda for 30 years, try going to Cabapino beach mate great beach next to the marina.
@@ScotsmaninTenerife would you mind if you was a millionaire though, I think it is to keep certain people away don't think they like certain people there.
Good Video again, I was in Marbella 2018 and in a few bars and in Sinatras Bar I was charged $16 U.S.D. 15 € For a corona beer then? Only had one beer And the waiter expected a tip also, pulled his face when he didn’t get one had a terrible attitude , Marbella is a good place to visit for a blow out but bring plenty of cash.
2.13 mins into your vid... I have been to "Banus" many a time.. Habana bar in the background. Been there quite a few times. This is about at least 10 years ago.. ordered two vodka's and one Red Bull to share... Barmaid gave us Grey Goose !!!!! considering we were going to drown it.... 32 euros... 10 years ago !!!!!!!!!!! WTF The guy behind me has a Vodka and Coke and he got the House Vodka....
You’ll have to go to second line for cheaper drinks. There used to be a linekas bar and some other cheaper bars but you won’t find cheap drinks on frontline. Especially as a bloke. But the bars do fantastic deals for women as they attract more customers if bars are full of pretty girls
Like someone else said it's gone downhill. Forget about the crime you have heard about think about the crime that doesn't get into the newspapers. Find places with less tourists if you want my advice or don't wear your nice watches in Puerto Banus. This week sadly it has escalated and will only get worse.
Peurto is a fucking awful place , linkers bar , small beer €7 !!! Pop to Nerja 20 miles down the coast , beer €2 with 4 tiger prawns as free tapas !! 😳 And visit the caves for €5 great cheap restaurant there and they even have concerts in the caves for 1500 people . Local bus goes to NERJA , you won't regret it Jock . It's more of a 50 years old plus destination but seriously worth a visit mate . Cheers
I haven’t been for the last few years due to lockdown. There is certainly a lot of changes. Lots of different restaurants. I have visited there for about 30 odd years. The place looks a lot bigger now.
I used to have place not far from there. It’s gone down hill from what it used to be like. Loads of idiots and a lot more prostitutes than in the past. Also it has the organised crime gang wars going on. Gangs from all parts of the world, ruthless. Be careful when the sun goes down. Great video though.
If you want value & boats try Sotogrande Puerto 35 minutes away. La Pala in the Puerto have the best Pizza's & Guinness. Watch the world go buy and be able to afford a taxi home.
Thanks for all your support !
