Cards you might wanna consider for side (or even main depending on your style or where you play): Main Deck: 1) Necrovalley: Further shuts GY-centric decks down and you don't even have to spend resources into Abyss Dweller. 2) Purple Poison Magician: If you need more removal or just raw damage in the main deck. 3) Trap Eater: By far the best counter to Anti-Spell Fragrance. You get a free synchro summon out of it. 4) Amorphage Goliath: Can substitute Aether for another floodgate. Extra Deck (mostly synchros because the deck makes lvl7 synchros easily): 1) Arcanite Magician: More removal and it's not once per turn so you can possibly nuke your opponent's entire board. 2) Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing: Monster nuke + burn. 3) Cyberse Quantum Dragon: If you're bricking and need to bounce a card or protect monsters. 4) Black Rose Dragon: You opponent doesn't let you play? Nuke his entire board. 5) Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion: Can get you out of some floodgates or tougher monsters. Plus it can do the guardragon combo after.
If you're gonna be bringing it out via seal anyway, the stats of Goliath should not matter, thus it's probably better to play sloth. Same effect on field, bit worse stats, but level low enough to pendulum summon.
@@DrDrao Definitely! I have to admit that I don't know much about Amorphage so was just copying the same thing I did for Crusadia Guardragon. But if there's one with the same effect and that can be pend summon you should go for that instead.

Orcust + Zefra are 10 more cards, but raise the ceiling so much. The times where they cause bricking are so much less than the times that help extend, and even more are the times where they help you recover when electrumite and servant are both stopped. But then it is less endymion and more pendulum so i understand. I prefer Zefra Endymion though -(and some times with a touch of orcust....)- On the other hand, the bonuses cannot be denied: Zefraath is a scale 1-7 on demand, provides an extra body for a summon, 2 spell counters (itself + providence) and a free omni-negate counter trap. Orcust leave either a Dingirsu to protect the board, or a Galatea with Crescendo or both. There have been many times where i destrudo my jackal, then summon Savage using Knightmare with destrudo. Im more of a purist in decks, but pendulums can mix so well many engines, that you must try it sometimes. In my budget build i went to 60 card pendulums, adding the oddeyes engine and dragdown/into the void, cutting Savage for HotRedAbbyss. Being 60 cards really helps not drawing the orcust and zefra bonus cards, also it is very unpredictable and doesnt brick more than the 40 card build. The odd-eyes engine i use is 2 ArcPend, 1 Pend, 1 Dissolver , 3 Spiral Flame and 1 Sky Iris. I also love set rotation with Ravine, Oracle and Babel, Iris (easy spell counters, also locks imperma, mine etc with oracle)

Sometimes I think it would be really cool if you made a more detailed version of these type of videos. Like reading the card texts and explaining more in depth what the cards can do and if you bring up other cards from other decks explain what they do as well so we know. But this is more so for the players that don't know what every card in the game does or how effective it could be in certain situations. It would also be cool if you would use a yugioh deck builder and link the deck in the description so we can refer to it if we don't have all the cards or know what they all do.
Borrelsavage in that build is VERY rare to pull off. If someone is truly copying this card for card, I would recommend Psy-framelord Zeta as it is a level 7 and still a form of disruption.

I’m actually playing this deck, in my legit first duel with it, I activated Desires and it banished all 3 Darkwurms and Masters of Endymion R.I.P my luck lol
I don't see how you go into Borrelload Savage Dragon in this deck build. The only way I can imagine doing that is by having Endymion and Jackal King on the board, targeting Jackal King with Destrudo and Synchro summon with Destrudo and Endymion, which is not really worth it at all imo, because Endymion is such a hard card to get rid of. I'd only do this if I really need another negation on the board. Mostly you're far better advised to go with Dragster, mostly because you can keep your other big beaters on the board because you'll most likely use a normal summoned monster as target for Destrudo. Furthermore, you can complement your negation board. With a full combo, you can end on Vortex Dragon as an omni negate, Jackal King as monster negate, Dragster as S/T negate and Spheres as another layer of interruption being able to get rid of two monsters.
Sorry for being late but I’m missing something. Isn’t Borrel Savage kinda difficult to summon since you need Destrudo to target a level 3 and another level 4 in the field? Or is it easier to do than I think?
You might want to swap out empress for dragoncaller magician. There will be times where you can't or don't get to darkwurm or destrudo so you'll need to change another monster into a dragon to facilitate the guardragon plays.
Only magicians i play is 3 chrono 1 timegazer. I play pire endymion guatddragon combo and its really good in my opinion the negates and boardwipes you get drom the spell counter variant is better.

I mean you could, but the question is: how good will it work? Answer: I tested it online and trust me, it doesn't harmonize that well. It works sometimes but you need to know, that these are two totally different playstyles. While odd eyes likes to start the turn with pendulum summons, endymion first combos than pendulum summons.

I'd agree. I do two master and two jackal king + 3 master cerberus to have access to garuda and jackal king but if you're playing pure endym I see no reason not to have 3

Honestly, this deck is great, but i think it is much better to make a video with an endymion deck WITHOUT the guardragon build, cuz its gna get hit in like 2 weeks. Either elpy, agarpain, or if we are really unlucky, both, making this deck no longer usable. I been trying to search for an endymion deck that doesnt need the guardragon besides pure and so far nada.

@ShieldHero not sure because Ghost Ogre doesn't negate, it just stops the effect from resolving due to continuous spell mechanics. Negates make it so as if you didn't use the effect to begin with. I would ask a judge about that, preferrably one who works at premier events regularly or, failing that try to ask someone more directly related to Konami. My instincts say no though because Ghost Ogre lets you activate, but it's very possible I'm erring here.
Alright y'all, question for you. If you can't afford a borreload savage, how about Omega? It's obviously not as good, but it's cheap and it makes your opponent play with one less card.

How do I know if a pendulum deck is good for me? I don't play good theme decks enough to know what particular play style right now... Right now I'm currently playing Rokkets. . . raw rockets, and a singular kaiju but yeah .. (Look at Cimos budget Rokket, because I netdecked that eager go have a competitive deck to play. Just replace defrag with kajiu)
When were this when I played wordls with just 3 structure deck + electro 2 jackal and 1 darwurm 1 chrono ... thanj god I had my majespecters ... if anyone is interested I ended with 4 - 1 ... Edit : it was a last minute build btw ... like I managed to build it in the room lol
if you go on facebook there's a group entirely dedicated to pendulum decks, notably but not exclusively magicians, but to answer your question it is possible it's just not relevant atm because guardragons are not a priority hit for the next banlist and there's at least 1 entire month before the list. If and when the time comes that they get a hit the deck has plenty of alternatives to fall back into, remember that jackal king and endymion by themselves are negates (you need to know how to use them though) which means the 1 free negate from guardragons is not very impactful and you can always make absolute to get vortex like the old formats, the main loss would be seal which is a really great 1-2 disruptions if timed correctly.

If you can't afford Savage you can use Ignister, it's a nice Synchro 8. I use it with a single copy of Luster Pendulum and it help's a lot.

this is actually a really good deck. only thing I would change is swapping the abyss actors for a very small zefra engine. Zefranui+dvine strike.

If you side deck gamma, I would say to run lambda, otherwise, I would run beat cop just because it works under gozen with most of the deck

Just a note that this deck is significantly weaker in places that use European rulings because servant can only try to be summoned once per turn.

@@yato7030 the ruling was updated to be like that every region, also note that it's only Ash that can do that, servant being negated by anything else can still trigger if you get 3 counters again.

@ShieldHero not sure because Ghost Ogre doesn't negate, it just stops the effect from resolving due to continuous spell mechanics. Negates make it so as if you didn't use the effect to begin with. I would ask a judge about that, preferrably one who works at premier events regularly or, failing that try to ask someone more directly related to Konami. My instincts say no though because Ghost Ogre lets you activate, but it's very possible I'm erring here.
Alright y'all, question for you. If you can't afford a borreload savage, how about Omega? It's obviously not as good, but it's cheap and it makes your opponent play with one less card.

you can play any lvl 7 or another rank 4 too, lvl8 isn't that easy to make in this build anyway.

if you go on facebook there's a group entirely dedicated to pendulum decks, notably but not exclusively magicians, but to answer your question it is possible it's just not relevant atm because guardragons are not a priority hit for the next banlist and there's at least 1 entire month before the list. If and when the time comes that they get a hit the deck has plenty of alternatives to fall back into, remember that jackal king and endymion by themselves are negates (you need to know how to use them though) which means the 1 free negate from guardragons is not very impactful and you can always make absolute to get vortex like the old formats, the main loss would be seal which is a really great 1-2 disruptions if timed correctly.
