It’s so funny to hear you talk about suburbia and wanting driving more to make you happy while I am over here in Texas desperate for anything walkable and close to each other! I am exhausted of not having a community that is easy to get to and walk to! Driving 30 mins to get everywhere exhausts me but it is probably a combo of grass is always greener and romanticizing walkable communities which have challenges also
Delicious vlog. All of it. Makes me wish I were 20 years younger, and you! 😂❤. So glad to experience it all vicariously. You always provide such satisfying, informative, and oh so well-edited content. Crazy to see Marsha Mason just lifting a hand to your camera 😮❤❤❤. Keep keeping us in your BWay loop!! Love our time with you and your fam.
I am a born and raised Long Islander and I'm never leaving here. Suburban life with a 35 min train ride to Penn/GCS? Hell yes. Although Westchester would be a dream if I could afford living there haha. So no - you're not crazy at all for fantasizing a life in Westchester. Ariana + Robyn + Max + Red + Orfeh = perfect combo. I saw Ariana back in March and just knew I had to come back for her final performance, especially to see Robyn again and Orfeh for the first time. I loved Robyn since seeing her in Moulin Rouge, didn't check out Beautiful Noise bc that show was not my vibes lol, but was so happy to see her in Chicago in a leading role! And she sounds amazing in the Smash rehearsal teases. As a huge Smash and Robyn fan, I think Robyn as Ivy is going to be a HIT. Cannot wait for it to open in the Spring (hopefully with her still playing that role!) Lovely vlog as always, you are living the dream and as a 28 yr old who still is a bit stuck finding my career path (and currently on month 6 of unemployment), your vlogs are so inspirational. Cannot wait to see what you are working on soon! (And hopefully we can one day cross paths!) P.S. I actually bought a subscription to the KC in DC to see some exciting upcoming productions including Putnam Spelling Bee, Schmigadoon, and Legally Blonde! Gonna be a great season over there!
@@2gregsoccer also!! If you wanna see a suuuper sweet TYA show come see spells of the sea at the Kennedy Center! And thank you for your kind words. I have had SO many of those moments of feeling a little stuck--and even now I find myself wading thru so many career challenges and so much that's unknown. Right there with ya!
Id say go for the house if thats what you want. Its nice to have a goal to work toward. At the rate youre going your business will be pretty well established by then so prob wont have to do so much on your own so youd hopefully have time to enjoy what youve worked for.
I can't speak at all to Westchester. But as a single 35 yo woman who is on her second home in the suburbs, don't let "the correct life order" BS hold you back. I moved into my first house in the suburbs of DC when I was ready for more space and a yard for a dog (which I was not allowed to have in my condo) and it's the best thing I ever did for myself. I had all of my essentials within 15 mins of driving (including my work commute) and I was still accessible enough to go into DC on a weeknight anytime I wanted (including shows at the kennedy center). That said, it is a lifestyle change, and there's a part of me that would love to live in manhattan and feel steps away from everything. Probably a little "grass is always greener" on both sides. Also what is that "Idiogram" test Tia took? Not sure I heard that right but it doesn't sound familiar.
Westchester is amazing!!! When I saw the title of this video I was like please don't say Long Island (I grew up there) haha. My brother and his family moved to Westchester a year ago and visiting them is like going to a vacation house. I don't think your crazy! Yes to Westchester!
With a name like Katherine Quinn....you could be Irish!!!🍀 Enjoying your videos.. Your always on the go. I feel the stress with all those balls you have juggling in the air. But, I bet 1 dollar you have the house within 4 years 🏡. Love musicals so it's great to see your intake with it all. Take care. 💚🍀🇮🇪🎶🎶🎶👌
