Many things great about this video. The fact that you alphabetized it so that we can all easily mark the games as favorites in order. The fact that you did not include pokemon or mario games as those are almost always included in any list anyway. Lastly, you showed us a short gameplay of each games. Liked and Subscribed for sure!

My top 10 would have been very biased on the games played during my childhood! lol. Would have been a couple of Pokemon games, Megaman Battle Network, Yu-gi-oh, FF tactics, and Harvest Moon I guess!
@@luckylucson I didn’t get into Fire Emblem until like a year after Melee, I was like I wonder what games these characters were from, and from day 1 I got hooked, put so many hours into Sacred Stones and the other one, sadly Fire Emblem Three Houses is decent, I’m not a big fan of Japanese high school simulators (in this case academy simulators)
Great video done with care. I would also suggest those extra games: Konami Krazy Racers (the sound might glitch a little) Maniac Racers Advance Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Boktai is the sole reason for me to buy my first gba. Nice to see newer generation can also experience this game even with knockoff emulator/modded game
@@lucasfelipe8349 oh, about that particular solar thing, i've heard that community have patched a solar sensor mod to Boktai rom so we dont need to use actual cart/sensors to play it on emulator device such V90 or miyoo mini. Worth to try!
Excellent video. Thank you very much. Great selection of games. GBA has such a great catalog, considering you left out the heavy hitters. Questions: is it possible to play at the correct aspect ratio ? Did you notice any lag? Thank you, again.
Wow, that's wild. I tried Medabots AX thinking maybe you got a bad copy or something and sure enough, not only did it crash, but it froze my Miyoo Mini up too! Holding down the power button didn't help! it eventually made it back to the game list but it was still frozen there! My only option was to unplug the battery (I have v2) and I really don't like doing that as the wires are very thin, and you could bend a pin trying to plug it back in! I got lucky and I won't be trying this game again!
Some of these games are very expensive if you want to buy authentic cartridges of each of them. This is why emulator handhelds are more affordable, and often a blessing. Those that say "Dang, that emulator handheld is expensive!" Well, they have no idea how expensive retro games are, especially the Gameboy cartridges. I dare you to look at the price of Ninja Five-0 cartridge in ebay.
100%. I have huge regrets for selling my old cartridges just because I thought I won't play them again. Turns out a few decades later you long for that trip to memory lane.
Man would you bother fiddling with the anti-latency features of retroarch and report how well (or not) do they work? Especially the run-ahead feature, how many frames of latency can you remove (for instance) on the NES emulators? Also the auto frame delay feature would be cool, assuming it's actually in that build. Hope this is a good idea for a video. Thanks either way!
I know the aspect ratio is not correct for GBA and GBA is what I would probably mostly play on a retro device, would this still be a good option it if that was the case? I really like the look of miyoo mini and now there's a plus version(which still isn't on stock lul)
I had no issues with the slight difference in aspect ratio, and still had a blast playing gba games in the miyoo mini. It's super small and pocketable, so it's great if you only need to play gba games
Anybody try Racing Gears advance on this thing and have issues? My experience was it getting stuck in the initial Start Screen where the racing team symbols scroll across the screen. Only once have I gotten it to proceed to the game. I now have a save state which allows me to play. Game plays well, at least I can’t notice anything wrong with it. Edit: Menus are a bit laggy
The screen is fine for me as older games have huge texts! The buttons however, are kind of awkward for your hands if you intend to play for more than a couple of hours
Is there any chance you have or could test Rule of Rose on a device that supports PlayStation 2? I want to buy a device for my wife to play that game but the websites are unclear if it will play.
The miyoo mini comes with thousands of preloaded games. A lot of gba and snes games, but unfortunately only around 10 ps1 games. For the video I also installed the games on my own as some are not preloaded
I don't know why everyone loves this thing. From someone who owns one.... It has the build quality of a powkiddy v90. Trigger buttons are horrendous, the buttons and dpad are cheap and if you drop it at all on a solid surface day goodbye to your screen. Give me the rg280v any day over this thing.
Not the best build quality, or performance. But i would say it's form factor makes the Miyoo Mini really fun. I could play it with one hand if i want to!
