Silk song has had only a few trailers and a few teasers and the hype is unreal. The team behind it said they will not have a release date until it is ready. This is how games should be.
While I agree, I can't help but think of all the people who won't get to play a game like Silksong because the people behind it aren't ready to compromise at least a bit on their vision. People die, ya know.
I have so much respect for the people behind silksong. Their vision for what they put out is much stronger than any dollar amount. Hyped to see it.

Man, this video validates my whining. I’ve literally ranted about this to multiple friends, plus, you said that, “they basically release it in early access, but without telling anybody.” Which is EXACTLY what I’ve been trying to tell people! Just because it’s all online now and you can update it whenever, doesn’t mean they should be justified in making people pay them $70 to beta test their rushed, janky, mess of a game. Gosh! I need some Tylenol!

Stuff like adding lighting to make you look like a part of the scene, or making a tab to make it seem like you have a show at 8:56 add so much to the video (S+ btw if you went through all the footage to add grey to your green shorts to make them visible). Man, Cyberpunk has actually been a fun experience. I bought it recently since it went on sale, and I’ve experienced minimal glitches over about 100 hours of gameplay. They definitely worked on it over time, but that doesn’t excuse the horrible release.

They completely changed the game from what it was intended to be but I’ll agree what it is now is a pretty good game. All that money went a LOOONG way lol.

I'd like to point out what an outlier Hello Games is. Their response to getting absolutely flamed was complete radio silence. They shut of all communication and just started rolling out patches. They knew actions spoke louder than words so rather than promising they'll fix the game they actually did. And today the game is so much more than they ever promised even bringing in VR support which is still my favorite feature to this day.

I highly recommend retrying no mans sky. the launch was a absolute nightmare. However, the game is fun now, delivering on most of the original promises

Just finished my first ever Dishonored 2 playthrough after getting inspired to finally pick it up after seeing you talk about the 1st one in your stealth game video.
I can proudly say as I did in the first game, I completed it 100% Ghost Pacifist, and it was incredible.

I hope fromsoft don’t fall into this. Elden ring didn’t seem to have to many problems at launch except pcs hitching, and it was so finished that 2 whole areas seem to be dlcs that just got added to the main game before launch.
