I might be the only one here impressed by how cleanly and confidently your record store owner swipes the record and inner sleeve out of the outer sleeve? I'm a bit of a newb with records still and I'm always so careful and cumbersome getting both out, let alone smoothly.
Thats very cool to post this..I have got to see a handful of collections come in and a couple stores over the years nothing too fantastic but walked away with some cool records at decent prices because of this..thanx for sharing and take care
Joe, l still have the Disney LP's that came out in 1967 and 1968. I bought them at the local GULF gas station in the 60's. They are great albums with some original cuts from the actual movies.
fun and funny video joe ! really like when you help joe with these pick up vinyl buys. she had some decent beatles re issues bit was hoping she had some 50s and 60s lps as well. good video none the less! rob
Hey Joe! I love your road trip videos - they are entertaining and full of such great humour and its great to see another side of you! I eally enjoyed this video, I'm amazed that 'record store Joe' eats SO much ;-) and was very excited to learn that Don (Whaaaaaat???)has a lady friend! Such a shame that the collection didn't live up to expectations but c'est la vie ... receiving the Billy Joel re-release was a stroke of luck and a nice gesture by 'record store Joe'. Keep 'em coming! Byeeeeeee
Hey, you realize the original pressings of 'Cold Spring Harbor' on the 'Family Productions' label were mastered at the wrong speed - a little fast - noticeable however!
I do strangely like seeing the food too! The only problem is it makes me hungry when I'm watching the videos! Haha! Am I allowed to blame you for my late night snack?
I guess this is no longer a family channel *LOL!* Anyhow, I have the same issue as your friend Joe (and ironically a lot of the same tastes in food) in that I can eat pretty much what I please as long as it's not in excess and not put on weight. I don't know what it is as my metabolism should've been shot years ago. As far as the records go, I think it's pretty cool of your shop there to take classical music as a lot of record stores won't go near that stuff these days. Paul (FitToBeTieDyed) was correct about the orange Capitol label from the seventies as it is hands down the ugliest label I've ever seen. The "Let It Be" reissue from the eighties with the purple label...I couldn't tell if it was intact or not, but it's supposed to have a poster inside. Thanks for the record tour Joe.
jldraw - I wish I had that food "issue". LOL! For me, I don't mind the orange Capitol label much... the lousiest label IMO is the tan-like MCA label, if you know that one.
I've never seen it. Maybe in your next vinyl video, you could show it off. Tan is a horrid color though, for anything other than the siding of your house or perhaps a sweater.
Nearly choked laughing at that video. Shame it was a disappointing collection. I would've snapped up those U.S. Beatles albums if they weren't knackered. You don't see them too often in the U.K.
Hot Dog trucks - when I go back home, I almost always try to stop at one - why haven't these caught on other than just our home area? Cold Spring Harbor - This and Streetlife are the only one's I need to complete the collection.
dixielandfarm - In 1984 I got food poisoning from a hot dog truck and have never patronized another ever since (or maybe once or twice). But I would go to this guy's truck... seems kosher.
Golum - Joe would never allow people to see his house. From what I understand he is breaking down his own collection and bringing stuff into the store for sale.
Jay Fuller... might not be very nice to tell someone that to their face. But in discussion with a third party in private, I see nothing wrong with being honest about it.
You two totally need to make a series. That was great!American Pickers "Vinyl Edition"
Down Under Vinyl - That would be great, but I'm thinking there would be all sorts of issues showing artists.

Great find Joe! .."'It pays to buy the best"
Thats very cool to post this..I have got to see a handful of collections come in and a couple stores over the years nothing too fantastic but walked away with some cool records at decent prices because of this..thanx for sharing and take care
It never fails. I love how joe is constantly eating. We'd get along swell

These videos are great!! I've seen everyone. Thanks for Sharing.
I reckon Joe's got worms, he just don't stop eating. Great video.

That Vinyl Girl - Thanks for watching, and also the kind words.
Great video...nice to see how the system works with looking at estate collections etc. Thanks Joe...
Mathew Street - I have done a couple of these videos (not sure if the other one has survived). I mainly leave out the price negotiations.
Hi Joe. Your roadtrip videos are great. Always funny and full of great characters - Cheers, Brad
Brad - Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy them.
that thelma houston album is a gem, with outstanding fidelity!
Fun video Mr Mayo .
Thanks for taking us along.
The Phantom - Thanks for coming.
Cool Video!!!!! Keep them coming!!!!
Awesome
He is an eating machine! Hahaha great vid Joe. ✌🏻️👏🏻👍🏻🇦🇺😃
Oompah - The bastard never gets fat.
He be lucky! I only have to look at food and I stack on the pounds! Haha
Record Store Joe here looks like Daevid Allen from Gong!
Or Geddy Lee of Rush.
I wish I knew what Joe's trick to eating and not gaining is. he must be constantly on his feet and movin
If I eat like that, I would worry about me gaining weight. Nice video.
Hey, you realize the original pressings of 'Cold Spring Harbor' on the 'Family Productions' label were mastered at the wrong speed - a little fast - noticeable however!
tubeie07 - Yes..
I do strangely like seeing the food too! The only problem is it makes me hungry when I'm watching the videos! Haha! Am I allowed to blame you for my late night snack?
Joe spent more money to snacks and gasoline than he can get of those records.
can you make a video of you 50s/60s/Rockabilly/Rock&Roll vinyl?
PS: the "Wagner" gag was hysterical ! Matt

Arthur Lager send me some British stuff I’ll send you some Capitols
Can't go wrong with a little head.
Joe, get your mind out of the gutters!
I don't mind seeing the food. What I hate are the close-ups of people slurping their morning coffee.
Good lookin' dogs!
Hot Dog trucks - when I go back home, I almost always try to stop at one - why haven't these caught on other than just our home area? Cold Spring Harbor - This and Streetlife are the only one's I need to complete the collection.

Store Owner Joe is a riot
The way he checked those Beatles records. I don't care in what condition they are, it's a bit brutal to see. Always fun to tag along though :)
Can we see Joe’s personal collection? The dudes house must be a damn museum.
Golum - Joe would never allow people to see his house. From what I understand he is breaking down his own collection and bringing stuff into the store for sale.
Oh my lawd this is the saddest news I've heard all day.
Why didn't your girlfriend set it up for you to look at the records first instead of Joe?
cootaloot - I asked her the same thing. As it turned out, I'm glad she didn't.
This lady is selling the Beatles boy she really wants that deal
Joes always stuffing his face lol
Gotta start with some fuel i. e. Hot Dogs
Is it only me or does calling someone else's record collection garbage seem disrespectful?
Jay Fuller... might not be very nice to tell someone that to their face. But in discussion with a third party in private, I see nothing wrong with being honest about it.
@@MeanMrMayo To be fair, it's not really private when you post that conversation on the internet.
Jay Fuller - I hope it was not too traumatic for you.
I'm not a doctor,but I think Joe might have a tape worm.......
Beatles & junk
