It’s looking great, I feel this year especially we are all sat on the edge of hope as far as the weather goes. It’s still feeling cold here and now on my day off it’s also pouring with rain so I can’t do much in the garden either. Super pleased for the lovely pheasant chicks and your lovely new lamb x

Hey Geoff. Thanks for the tour round the market and flower gardens. That week of hot weather has spurred things on, some successes and an odd disappointment, well it happens.
You have things to make up the veg. boxes.
That looks like a decent lamb and it's mother's growth doesn't seem to be too stunted, considering she was tupped early. We have taken a cut for baled silage, not a heavy crop but it should be good stuff.
We hope all is ok with you Geoff. Best. Jacob and Johnny.

Our garlic has done exactly the same - hardly bulked up at all and very few have split. We planted at about the same time as you - it must be the weird weather we are having. Yours are doing much better for rust than ours though - I had to give up and harvest ours yesterday as they were absolutely covered in rust. Will just use them fresh as I don’t think they’ll store - definitely won’t be self-sufficient in garlic this year 🙈 - loved the tour - so brilliant to see everything getting moving - what a fantastic job you do - lucky customers to have a veg box grown with such love and care 😊😊

Thank you so much! And, like you, no idea about the garlic. I can't see that the amount of rust I've had stunted plants. And they've had plenty of rain. Perhaps, like everything else, lack of sunshine to put energy into bulbs?!

You ARE very much on top of things this year.
...and talking about "living on site..." have you YET got any lumber for your 2024 building project? I dont see your post rammer laying around! 🙄
Its closer and closer to the rainy season! Put ten posts into the ground and tie them togeter with 6x2, or 8x2 if you can afford.
Looking forward to seeing you start it. Properly posted, it can get quite a few views.
    😂

Hey it all looks really good considering all the challenges this year. I'm a great believer in just letting dahlias be, and nigella self seed wonderfully after a time. And a very lovely lamb!

I'm normally the same with the dahlias ... I just can't believe they survived standing water!
