I was helping a friend with his x32rack , connected to the pc and no audio comes out . reads it says audio signal comes in and out . but nothing . gonna try something that I learn here. hopefully we can get it up and running . thanks for the vid.
Thanks, question: If I have a M32R (8 local outs) and a DL32 (16 outs) Is it possible to make the system to see ALL the 24 outputs independently?, I can't figure out how to assign more than 16 outs using both units regardless of patching, I want to use the 8 local outputs of the M32 to send different stuff, like direct outs or insert sends to other hardware
I found your video very informative and have questions about the setup I want to use. I see you are using s16 stage box and x32 rack. I want to use that setup for monitor mixer and then send a dry signal through AES A port to front of house x 32. 1; Can I send the 32 channels, 1 through 16 from s16 stage box to be 1 through 16 to foh (front of house)and 1 through 16 from x32 rack to be 17 through 32 on foh X32? I want to give each musician there on mix controlled by a i-pad or phone whatever thay choose. 2; can I restrict each musician to their own monitor mix on there wireless device? I don't know if you want to make a video to answer my questions but I think my idea would be helpful to someone else.
So we could not get our aes to record to protools however our local inputs are. So is the USB port in the back that’s connected to our computer considered the card? So we have to match the card routing? Thanks
Dude! Get to the point! Four minutes in and you still havent made sound go from A to B. Just tell people how you get your voice from Ch 1 to the mains LR, and to Monitor 1. Then show how to add reverb to both the mons and mains. 13000 views and only 100 likes is a extremely poor percentage.
You really did a great job explaining this very succinctly!
I understood it all....but this is like the third crack at watching a routing video. Somehow your explanation made sense to me. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
very clear explaining. very helpful. thanks
Any chance you could make a video describing the differences between and uses of the Routing/Blocks/XLR Tab and the Routing/Patch/Out

ok if all you need is a refresher.. no good for people new to it..
Make a video on how to add effects
I want to know how.you patch USERS defined an apply them while mixing

yes, the usb port in the back of the card slot is what shows up as the card in your routing menus.
Dear Ass-End Audio: Your explanations are as clear as MUD.
What is the REC PLAY switch?
Allows for toggling between routings for recording playback (virtual soundcheck) and standard show ready routing.
Clear as mud I'm a newbe and you lost me real fast.
you should slow down, you talk too fast.
Wayyy too fast couldn't understand the Aes portion for shit
No one is explaining the Aes properly at all
@@kenroncapron7891 What would you like help with the AES?
I'm sorry but this wasn't helpful at all way too fast and not enough explanations for people who are just starting.
