Hello everyone, have same problem like you guys, phone is turning itself off. So, what is problem solution? If there is any? Or we just can sit down and cry because we bought broken phone? I am pretty irritated too... Thank you
I've gone through two different cat s62's with the same (and more) problems. It's the single most frustrating model of phone I have ever owned. Do not buy.
Had the same thing with all of mine, went through 5 in my 2 year warranty, last one was 2 weeks before the warranty ended and now the main speaker emits a very loud ringing noise if used that won't turn off even with the phone off!
've had mine about two days . It did this a few hours ago. Shut off just the one time, and wouldn't come on until I plugged it back in. Very odd ( S62 pro )

Pour un téléphone de chantier c'est vraiment bloquant, surtout quand on est travailleur isolé. Comment je branche le téléphone au milieu de la forêt pour le rallumer en cas d'urgence??? Téléphone échangé par un nouveau qui a exactement le même problème! Incident ouvert auprès de CAT Phones support: aucune solution ne m'est proposé et maintenant ils ne répondent même plus aux mails... Pas très sérieux...
Get rid of it! Send it back for service. But beware, they will tell you that the error did not occur to them. I got a new phone from the service center twice. But these series are faulty, they all turn off automatically.
@@danijecko4770 that is incredibly unfortunate. I really don't want to go back to the other phone brands, I really enjoy these CAT phones. I got this phone to replace my S61 that was having voltage controller issues. It lasted me two years though.
If the phone is playing music it will not power off even if it is locked. I downloaded a 12 hour black screen silent music video from youtube and turned the volume all the way down. I play this all day and this way the phone will not shut off
UPDATE: this fix eventually stopped working. I have replacaed the battery and the problem persists. Cannot get anyone from Cat Phones to get back to me through phone or email.
I have the same problem with mine. It turns off by itself. And on top of that I can't Receive Incoming calls. I have it for more than 30 days now. I can't send it back for a Refund.
Estos teléfono son fantástico por resistencia pero son malísimos conel sistema operativo. Yo comorr uno hace 8 meses y no logro encontrar la placa de un cat s 42 y si la compro amazon y no le queda ni es rentable comprar un teléfono de estos pq casi nadie tiene los repuestos solo por internet

There is no solution for it. If it's under warranty, send it back. I did the same until they finally refunded the price of the phone.

Same problem on mine after 7 months, but it doesn't turn on when I plug it in, sending to repair.
Hold power and volume up to force restart. No cable needed. Just make sure the battery has a charge

so i use for warehouse photographs everyday and suddenly it brought this issue. No solution seen yet
bought 2 of them from US T-Mobile and one of them is Switching-Off on random occasions - don't know what it is.....sorry

I tried 3 brand new S62s in three months. Each was faulty, all turned off by itself after a while.
I regretted buy it .pls cat shld recall ir and compensate rhe buyer's

I restricted the app Quickstep and so far no shutdown. It was using way too much battery power
well mine turns back on it just annoyingly will randomly power off during the night and middle of the day, which I found to be slightly irritating.
