The day has come for me to upload my first video using the LEGENDARY guitar luthier MANUEL REYES!! I decided to share this piece "TIO ARANGO" as the first upload with it, because that's how I discovered this brilliant instrument's potential from Maestro Vicente Amigo about 13 years ago. Ever since, I have been working my way up and dreaming for this moment. With the help of many amazing people I have encountered throughout my journey, without them I would be in the position I am in right now. So a big THANK YOU to them, the ones reading it know who they are! Maybe my face doesn't show how excited I am because the piece is just insanely difficult and I really needed to concentrate, but my 14 year old me inside is jumping right now. Enjoy the video! a master of guitarplayer with the perfect guitar is the right way. why can't other luthier built such a singing and percussive sound. I am searching so many years such a guitar for a payable price.
this was one of the pieces I heared 17 years ago which got me into flamenco. I especially like the part beginning at 3:46 until the end. That is still the prefect solea closing sequence for me. you played it perfectly and with so much feeling! ole my friend!
I absolutely love the sound of a Reyes, obviously popularised by Vincente, but Luciano you absolutely do it justice! But maybe show a little more excitement next time, ha only joking, I can only dream of playing like you!
