Hey I'm kinda interested in getting a AMG for my nfs2-640 but I have some questions, one question I have is how does the AMG communicate with the nfs2-640's cpu? Does it connect to the annunciator bus? Or how does it connect?
@@AlarmSystemTech Hello, I´m Lewis. If you need to conect AMG-1 and ACM-24AT then how you program these on the acs groups? I ask it, because you said "address annunciator 1 to A in the programming", but what happend with the ACM-24AT, the NFS2-640 panel does not allow me to later place the ACM-24AT to customize it to 1 in the groups. So I ask you something else: Can I place the ACM24-AT with address 1 in option 1, and the AMG-1, place it in address 32 and option A? Thank you. sorry for my English.
Good morning I start to work on the NFS 640 fire panel but i dont understand why when I go on walk test and I do the smoke detector test the alarm ring ?
Some of the schools in my city have that same voice-evacuation panel; my middle school will probably get one once they finally replace their ancient Gamewell system from 1957. Some buildings at my college also have Notifier NFS2-640 systems, but without voice-evac; they just use horn/strobes.

It communicates over the 640’s ACS terminals, you address annunciator 1 to A in the programming.

@@AlarmSystemTech Do you need to actually use an ACM-24 when you use an AMG, or is the AMG considered the annunciator? I'm assuming the later is true.

I just got one of these and im wondering how i program new messages on this, i do have verifier tools if i need it!
The AMG is too old to connect to verifire tools

Program was running clip protocol I changed it to flashscan after the video
