Wonderful docu. And a beautiful friendship Roger/Rafa. 💛
Thank you for being Roger Federer. Watching you on and off the court helped me be me. All the way from Botswana. I pray i meet you before i die, you are my hero RF!
I honestly had no idea the depth of Fed and Rafa's friendship until the Laver Cup when I saw Rafa so sad and emotional. But I guess it makes sense. Tennis is unique in that it's an individual sport and the high level guys play certain opponents frequently. In a sport like boxing, legendary fighters may have the same opponent at most 3 times in an entire career. Fed and Rafa have played each other that frequently in just 1 calendar year. So not surprising such a strong bond can be forged.
Fortunate enough to follow his career entirely. He won't be remembered as the guy who won the most - but the guy who played the best. Just a little closer to the Gods than the rest of us...
Fed competed with two other legends in their prime when he passed his own prime, he is 5 years older than both Nadal and Djok, and still beat them, on slower courts, fast courts you name it. Djok cannot say the same.
Yep, and he's closer to 6 years older than Novak. Roger truly is the GOAT
Bullshit 😂
@initialize21
Truth is that we would never know how their careers would have been if the roles were reversed; Federer younger and hungry to chase the others' records.
Logic dictates he would have beaten them more as he would have had youth on his side but that's not necessarily a given.
@@initialize21 The depth of delusion of Roger fans is crazy. Yes he’s a stylish player but Nole outclassed him years ago. Roger had a head start with years in which he had no competition from Rafa/Nole. Nole’s career has extended through three generations and he broke every record DESPITE coming through during the prime Roger/Rafa years. Your comment has zero logic.
He may not have all the records, but he was the most complete and talented player by far. He took tennis to a whole new level and he did it with the most beautiful technique that every tennis player envied. For me he is the true GOAT and we will miss him dearly. Many blessings Roger!
He does not have the flexibility or mental toughness of Djokovic.
@@ohwellwhateverr I would give Nadal the mentality title. Djokovic can have the clown personality title
Off-topic: 5:49 , Jeez, Roger is looking at a hunk right there, lol... Rafa has such a healthy and natural body! Great documentary, but life moves on, it's the way we should look at things.
this guy cries anytime
who?
This message is coming from a DIEHARD NADAL FAN. Roger I still miss you from the game of tennis. You raised the bar of tennis.
A legend no matter what.
2008 Wimbeldon final between Rafa and Roger was the first time I ever saw these 2 play together. I couldn't walk away from my grandfather's tv because I didn't watch this match to end!
Who's chopping onions?!😢.....gee, this hits hard. Missing Roger on the tour!!!!!
Thank you Roger I watched you since 2001, and you brought the game so much entertainment, such a joy to watch. Grace, elegance, and technique.
FEDAL forever 🏆🎾
True Champion!!! True Gentleman!!
Would love an in-depth autobiography of his 20 years on tour, not just the last 12 days!
Piu' passa il tempo e non si puo' che volergli sempre piu' bene... 🤝🤝🤝Roger e Rafa: Splendidi... ❤️👏👏👏(Gl🎾)
That's not just the end of carrer but next paragraph of new life. Congras and we would love your more than ever.
GOAT
Real talk right here
In your dreams

Agreed
@@m.a3437bro shut up
Tennis gods and tennis humans at the same time
To Prime VDO, I would let Federer sit in a better position during this interview. Ahh well...
I’d be cringing at those crying scenes with Nadal in London too Roger.
Now that I think about it, that is probably the only public footage of Rafa swearing
Beautiful Roger
I watched you forever. I always called you my other husband because you are a great family man. My husband thought I was nuts. Still will miss you forever!
I cried through the whole darn documentary. I miss this guy so much!💔
I hate goodbyes😭 you will be missed Roger💙simply the Best🤗
Knowing that you brought so much pleasure and true appreciation of the sport of tennis with your matches should help you in moments of regret. But, although you regret not being able to play anymore, there is no other regret. You fulfilled the capabilities of the talent you were gifted with, and more. That is a great achievement on a personal level and one that will forever leave people appreciating what you contributed to the sport. You are tops always!
With out a doubt the most talented player ever to have graced any tennis court.
dang it. I thought I just finished crying today already
Thanks you Rog for being❤
Best of all times
Undoubtedly a Great player and an ambassador of the game. Unfortunately his friendship with Nadal started only after both started losing to Djokovic, 😢
I'm very thankful to Roger that he didn't put his last words about leavinf tennis behind a paywall. 🙏
one of the most loved athlete if not the most. I don't care if he has less grandslams that nadal and novak but to be the peoples champ is a different level
I love that Mirka did an interview. She was such a talented player as well. Really lovely couple ❤
What did federer whisper to novak
omg i friekin love that guy so much. just a Divine being! simple as that
Hes The messi of tennis
I agree Roger is Messi🤗💙🙏
6:12 I understood that reference
❤
Of course he had to show his Rolex during this interview. As a Swiss, I used to look up to him, but at some point I had the feeling that money had changed him. He's standing next to children in Africa and what can you always see? His Rolex. That just doesn't look right to me.
just cuz hes wearing a rolex nothing changed him and earning money😂
Is federer a tennis player i dont remember him....hm
Dimentia, go see a doctor
@@englishwith_mark no you go
Definitely a tear jerker. Wow
boring doc, very melo dramatic and female centered(mirka)
Huh!!
Only thing boring is your post and idiot centered(you).
Film should have been called: "How I milked every cent of my brand taking 2 years to retire".
