i'm not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt, but i think the only way that could've happened is if she pleaded insanity, which wouldn't have been viable since missouri law for insanity is if the defendant didn't understand the true nature of the crime when committing it AND the defendant couldn't distinguish right from wrong due to a provable mental condition. you could perhaps argue that she committed it due to PTSD from abuse, but she still definitely understood her actions and knew it was wrong. its really unfortunate she had to go to prison but a psychiatric facility might've been worse. she likely would've had far less freedom in a psychiatric facility than prison
Gypsy Rose had the mentality of a kidnapping victim trying to do anything to survive. If anything, Nick used her situation to get to do something he had always wanted to do.
I agree, Nick needed psychiatric help, but Gypsy being so sheltered and abused I don’t think she even thought about that his behavior and language is exhibiting that of a severely mentally ill person. He had a criminal record before he murdered deedee, this is a whole situation that is wrapped in abuse and manipulation and trauma and isn’t so black and white which makes her case so interesting
I agree about Gypsy but not Nick. He has an iq of 82, most likely he didn’t really understand what was happening and what the consequences would be. He is not a monster, he is an vulnerable person who should be getting support to live a good life (after a reasonable prison sentence), not be locked up for life
@@tovekrantz9899 Yeah, if anything, she manipulated and took advantage of him to ultimately do what she wanted to do to get away. Let’s not twist it. It’s just so tiresome reading all the comments from people that are trying to put up this shield around her as if no one can say anything about her negatively because of what she endured under her mother. It’s weird and comes off a little too “#YASSSGURLBOSS” with how people are treating her, and anyone that insinuates otherwise is seen as “victim blaming” and shamed. That or they are considered “too young” or “ill informed” to understand (despite me being old enough to remember as an adult when this happened and watching the news real time over it and how the public perception was in disgust over her despite her situation under her mother - wasn’t until recently when TikTok got ahold of it that the narrative suddenly changed to fawn over her and protect her). She was old enough to know better. She had snuck off to fool around with him and talked to him online a lot. She wasn’t this poor, naive little girl that didn’t know right from wrong. She wasn’t put in a situation where she had *_NO_* other choice (because she had choices; many). She chose the one that had a guy who had a learning disability, never been in a relationship, adored her, and said he’d do anything for her to protect her to be with her … and she leaped at that. There is no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No, she didn’t approach him with the intent to start a relationship for this sole purpose, but it *is* ultimately what it evolved into being. She was toxic for him, he was toxic for her. They fed off of each other and somehow made her believe she had no other option. I don’t get why people want to twist it to act as if she had zero hand in it - makes me wonder if they’ve ever watched the interrogation videos of her and him in full (dead air and all) to see how she acts, how she constantly infantilizes herself when backed into a corner with questions to play a victim (which has carried her well among people even today, because see how defensive people get over her to make excuses as if she didn’t do anything wrong at all due to her situation), the numerous lies she told to put it all on him as if it was only his idea and that she was forced to go along with it to only go back on it when realizing interrogators weren’t buying it, what they did immediately after the fact, how she behaved the days following what she took part in, etc. yet were suddenly supposed to sweep it all under the rug, say “she had such a hard life, poor thing”, give her her flowers, and push all the blame to the boy because of some fcked up things he said about the mother. I’m supposed to ignore how they didn’t have a “romantic” evening full of laughter and joy as the woman was covered in red in the next room. Did she have a hard life? Absolutely. I won’t take that away or downplay any of that given what she went through via her mother’s desperate bid for attention. … but let’s not pretend that same manipulation isn’t something she also displays or act as if the things she is doing now isn’t for attention, either. She knows what she is doing and she is loving every minute of it, and people are eating it right up to feed the ego and protect her as if she has never and couldn’t ever do wrong.
@@tovekrantz9899 iq of 82 is actually considered "low average", and if i'm not mistaken, only sub-70 iq in the US can lead to treating a criminal as someone who doesn't fully understand their doing. the average iq in prisons is about 90, so 82 is not far off.
The day before Gypsy got out I had oral surgery, so imagine me slurring to my mom and the hygienists about gypsy rose getting out tomorrow high off of anesthesia
I think people are forgetting that Gypsy is first of all a victim. She did what she deemed the only way out of a lifelong of abuse and none of us can even start to comprehend being in the situation she was in at the time.
I think the whole case is really about the nature of self defense. People's level of sympathy is very much related to how much they consider it self defense. Like, if someone is slowly killing you does it still count as self defense if you arrange their murder? It's removed from the typical killing a home invader kind of case but I would still argue it was her or her mom.
@@helyns1416 I agree. In my country there's this ' excessive force' law which legalizes the use of excessive force and even allows one to commit a normally criminal act like murder when under dire circumstances, which is a law I think many other countries practice as well. I doubt Gypsy Rose would've met the legal requirements for that law but as people we can still judge wether we found the force morally justified or not and considering the situation she was in I think we need to cut her some slack. She's done her time and has grown as a person and it wasn't an unforgivable act.
The problem isn’t Gypsy being a ‘master manipulator’, but being master manipulated for her whole life, and now all of society is doing it rather than necessarily one close person. It is very gross and we do indeedy need to leave it alone
Please never drop the ''chronically online girl explains..'' series. They're seriously always so entertaining, and you speak in such a right tone that's not too slow & not too fast to keep up with, and as a ADHD girlie, I can't appreciate that enough 😭😭😭 love ya & your content ♡♡♡
i love the chronically online girl series because its honestly the most fun way I've consumed drama or gossip on youtube. feels like im having girl talk with my bestie about fucked up shit LOL i love your videos, and your podcast, and everything you put out thanks for the meal
This whole situation feels like a black mirror episode and I hate myself for doing this comparison cause this is a real person that went through a lot. I think all of this "hype" shouldn't be happening in the first place and I can't blame Gypsy at all cause the internet and the world's view was also a kind of escape for her, she doesn't own anyone an explanation or something else, she needs peace
I think the way she’s being idolized is a bit weird. I mostly think people are doing it for likes and views. I feel like people love her now, but one mistake and people will switch up from loving to hating her in .5 seconds.. rn she’s just “trending” the internet moves on quickly. So I just hope she does well with the time she has a platform. I wish her nothing but the best! If anything I think she deserves time to comfortably live and do things without being in the public’s attention.

kudos for touching on the larger ideas being explored here, like justice reform, racial inequity, parasocial shit, and parental abuse. such a simple video format but you manage to maximize it well and responsibly

Really appreciate you highlighting the lack of attention given to cases related to people with physical disabilities. In general, I am shocked by the way some people in 2024 talk about people with dwarfism in particular - casually dropping slurs, perpetuating stereotypes about them being “deceitful,” just downright ignoring them, etc. I don’t think most people realize how hurtful these things can be and I hope more people speak out about it.

Thank you for mentioning how there are people trying to paint Nicholas as someone who was manipulated by Gypsy and was taken advantage of. There's a very clear reason why he got sentenced to life and Gypsy didn't. And for that sake I really hope there aren't people trying to get in contact with him

You never miss. Like your takes are rooted in research and genuine respect and perspective for the topics you cover. Bringing it back to Natalia’s situation is so important. And I feel like the people covering her story are using gimmicks to profit off of her rather than truly share her experience so I hope it turns out well for her.
Gypsy Rose deserves all the money she’s making and I sincerely hope the world allows her some privacy after all the hype dies down she can live a normal life like she was meant to. Her saying everyone she loves leaves her really breaks my heart, she deserves the world

Also is closer related to narcissistic personality disorder than others like schizophrenia. Meaning, someone with schizophrenia can be diagnosed without hurting anyone else or themselves. That is not the case with Munchausen, either you hurt yourself of others. Im not a therapist, i just like reading about conditions, so its just my opinion from what ive read
YES thank you for mentioning that POC need this same support when being released!! so many people come out with nothing to their name and have trouble getting back to their feet.
This video made me realize I can’t keep pretending I’m not chronically online because my favorite part of these videos Is boring most of what you’re talking about and it’s like you’re clearing everything up for me. I knew so much of this and loved that you were putting it together for me lmaooo
I think the girl bossification of criminals is absolutely happening & I constantly think of the intersectionality with race. Because there is a specific type of woman that is loved / uplifted and woc would be absolutely obliterated by public opinion / society. BUT I definitely think that gypsy SPECIFICALLY endured something so awful & im glad she is able to reclaim her own story. Edit: I’m glad you mentioned the absolute noteable element of how woc are demonized / not treated with the same level of empathy Edit again lol: I feel like my use of the word “criminals” isn’t nuanced but idk what other word to say. Many people break laws for a multitude of reasons, and there are lots of socioeconomic & environmental factors as to why people breaks laws and just because something is a “law” doesn’t make it right & people of color are overpoliced, especially black people and I don’t think anyone misunderstood what I meant but I wanted to make note of that as well. Anygays I said all that to say, the justice system & society at large has proved time and time again it is more empathetic to people who have committed crimes when they exist in white bodies & so the marketing of it all as something slay is annoying because I never consume media at face value, and I wish more people had media literacy when consuming content.
that is so true, also, combine it with the fact that she did less time for conspiracy to murder than most poc get for NON VIOLENT crimes is insane, like i get it, it was self defense against some horrible, unimaginable abuse but it was murder nonetheless. the courts were already too lenient in her conviction, she doesnt need to be glorified on top of that as well.
i really think gypsy and her team already had plans to become an influencer type for work bc what else was she gonna do for $ when she got out? Not that it’s bad i just definitely think it was intended to be that way.
I can definitely see that considering people with a criminal record find it a lot harder to get work- this honestly might be the only way she can work considering she murdered someone.
22:48 THIS!!! I consume true crime content (and by content I mean documentaries and informational videos, not TV shows attempting to recreate the events), though not for entertainment reasons. I might go into forensics work (i’m currently in a forensics class at my school). We’re currently watching a documentary on JonBenét Ramsey(may that poor sweet child rest in peace 🕊️) to learn about all the missteps that were taken in the forensics process that led to the case being unsolved
i'm so glad you talked about natalia. it is crazy to me that people still see her as some crazy psychopath. it's heartbreaking that she hasn't gotten the overwhelming support and love that she deserves.
People expect Gypsy to be the child she used to be, but she spent all those years around prison baddies... But also, I hope at some point she takes a break from the public eye because Miss Girly has been in it all her life, like her mom forced her into it and she's now a social media controversial figure... She deserves a regular degular life with her husband for a little bit without the constant arguments around her.
That's a really interesting point tho. Her first experience of "normal" life and socialization was in prison. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it definitely could be. Regardless her personality and mental health are extremely specific and unique. I hope she's able to find a therapist who can work with her level of complexity
As someone who has a mother who was diagnosed w Munchausens by Proxy, almost 20 years ago, I have far too many thoughts on this, those of agreement vice versa. Also, I’m so happy I’m not the only one who finds Cajun accents attractive. That bayou thick twang with European accents thrown in there…yep!
Honestly, as a now adult that suffered under a mentally ill and extremely abusive mother, i just cannot possibly see Gypsy-rose as a killer. In my eyes, within my own conception, she is not a killer. I cant fuxking argue on that man.
Agreed. I'm glad that she regrets it and see there were other options and encourage others to do it. But I can't see this as anything other than self-defence. My mother's narcissistic abuse made me try to take my own life more than 10 times. And she's doing fine now. I'm suffering from severe mental disorders nowadays and she's fine. I'm lucky she isn't harassing me and trying to force me to keep me in her life now that I managed to escape. And I'm glad I never killed her. But if she kept me after I was legally allowed to leave. I could have. And I maintain it would have been self-defence. My life and safety was at stake. Gypsy's certainly was.
I had very abusive parents too and nobody ever helped me and there were times I thought about and vaguely planned doing violent things to get out of that situation. I never did of course and just continued to suffer. I totally sympathize with gypsy and I get her line of thinking and everything but at the same time I do not think someone who committed murder (even if it's just planning and recruiting someone else to do the dirty work) should be an "influencer." she shouldn't be a celebrity. she deserves a happy and normal life away from the spotlight. if she were a celebrity when I was a kid, I'm not sure I wouldn't be in prison now. unfortunately that's a very real possibility.
WOW i hadn’t heard about natalia in years. i was so shocked by how they just dumped her in the apartment. im gonna have to check out the doc. me personally, i want gypsy out of the public eye and having a more fulfilling time offline than online. but she deserves to make her own choices. if she makes mistakes, she will learn from that. she needs some time to just have control and autonomy. that’s all i wish for her i’m down to listen to whatever you feel like talking about❤
god bless for this Nicole, I've been out of the loop because I don't have socials anymore and SO caught off guard by some of the GRB headlines I've been seeing lately 😭💕

this popped up in my recommended today, thinking about Gypsy-Rose's fame reminds me about how OJ died today and he was of course famous before his trial as an athlete but then became even more (in)famous for "not" being a murderer but he still was able to capitalize off of it and retain his "influencer" status

YESSS! Girl you said it the best. This is such a good way to think about this situation bc people are so quick to judge when they actually have NO IDEA what they would actually do in that situation bc they haven’t lived it. I really hope gypsy doesn’t get sucked into this social media stuff.
this is literally the most balanced, sane take on this ever and is very non-chronically online which is ironic considering the title of this series. i don’t understand why everyone is being absolutely insane about this situation but this was very refreshing and amazing!!
Love this video and the ideas you talked about. I did want to mention, though, that there is a set of laws in America called the “Son of Sam Laws” that prohibits criminals from monetizing off of a crime they committed. So that’s why she can’t make money off of the movie or documentaries.
loving the formate of these vids! I'm personally not up to stuff, don't follow "drama" or what's happening (on the internet or irl, tbh) and i feel like you always serve a good and rational take on things
I read an article from Gypsy where she said recently that her mother was and still is her best friend and that her mother was sick, but she wishes she came up with another solution. At the time she didn’t see another option, but now she wishes she could have her mom back… … I can just only imagine how she feels. What I wish for her is a peaceful rest of her life away from the world, protected and with people that have her best interests
i KNEW everyone would be stanning her for like two weeks and then turn on her. this happened to a survivor of a kidnapping in germany, she escaped on her own after 8 years and he killed himself immediately, and since people couldn't like blame him and put the outrage somewhere bc he was already dead, they somehow started to bully HER. Like doubting every word she said for NO REASON. and this is kinda what is happening to gypsy, they can't blame the mom anymore bc she died so the hate goes towards gypsy also the people looking at the crime scene photos being like "SHE SHOULD BE IN JAIL" she was. she went to jail, did her time and was released. what else would you want?!

i'm not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt, but i think the only way that could've happened is if she pleaded insanity, which wouldn't have been viable since missouri law for insanity is if the defendant didn't understand the true nature of the crime when committing it AND the defendant couldn't distinguish right from wrong due to a provable mental condition. you could perhaps argue that she committed it due to PTSD from abuse, but she still definitely understood her actions and knew it was wrong. its really unfortunate she had to go to prison but a psychiatric facility might've been worse. she likely would've had far less freedom in a psychiatric facility than prison
@@tovekrantz9899ig you didn't watch the video before commenting this
@@tovekrantz9899 iq of 82 is actually considered "low average", and if i'm not mistaken, only sub-70 iq in the US can lead to treating a criminal as someone who doesn't fully understand their doing. the average iq in prisons is about 90, so 82 is not far off.
Nicole dressed as a chef during the sponsor ad cause she always cooks with her content. You’re an icon boo 💜
That was literally adorable omg
The day before Gypsy got out I had oral surgery, so imagine me slurring to my mom and the hygienists about gypsy rose getting out tomorrow high off of anesthesia
WAIT ME TOO I had nose surgery the day out and was very concerned that the paps weren’t giving her enough space while I was coming off anesthetic 😭😭😭
*the day she got out
Iconic
She's done her time and has grown as a person and it wasn't an unforgivable act.
watching this after Gypsy leaving Ryan has me hollering😭
The problem isn’t Gypsy being a ‘master manipulator’, but being master manipulated for her whole life, and now all of society is doing it rather than necessarily one close person. It is very gross and we do indeedy need to leave it alone
Very well put, I totally agree with you.
I think all of this "hype" shouldn't be happening in the first place and I can't blame Gypsy at all cause the internet and the world's view was also a kind of escape for her, she doesn't own anyone an explanation or something else, she needs peace
i think because the reaction of certain people on the internet is so bizarre that we can only compare it to a fiction such as black mirror
She'll be expected to be a perfect squeaky clean person which is so unrealistic for anyone especially someone entering a new world.
they’re just jealous cuz you’re slaying every single genre of content you put out. they truly hate to see a girlboss winning queen. idc if all you do is sit on your kitchen floor devouring a tomato i’ll eat up every single second of it LOVE YOUUU
“chronically online girl explains…” is my absolute favorite series on youtube please never stop making these!!
kudos for touching on the larger ideas being explored here, like justice reform, racial inequity, parasocial shit, and parental abuse. such a simple video format but you manage to maximize it well and responsibly
side note, i REALLY appreciate that you don’t talk slowly. usually i have to speed up videos by 1.5 😭 bless you, girl (also, may be related to my adhd) 🫶🏼
YESSSSSSSS i haven’t watched saltburn yet so i couldn’t watch the last video and i needed another chronically online girl explains ____ lore video to fill my heart with childlike wonder and joy.
I don’t even need to watch the video to answer the thumbnail. Yes. We should leave her alone. She’s been through enough.
as someone who watches both you and Mike's Mic--you're both fabulous and provide exquisite detail on different niche topics!!! love you both
i love these chronically online videos!! i've been a nicole fan for a few years but I can really see her personality shine in this type of content!!
I LOVE this series, as a fellow chronically online girl.
Thank you for mentioning how there are people trying to paint Nicholas as someone who was manipulated by Gypsy and was taken advantage of. There's a very clear reason why he got sentenced to life and Gypsy didn't. And for that sake I really hope there aren't people trying to get in contact with him
Im not on Twitter so i didn't know about you getting cancel 😭 dont stop the series!!! As a self proclaimed boomer this is a super fun way of consume drama and gossip im always late for. Love you girlie ❤
could we get a tiny trisha picture frame on the shelf or somewhere hehe WE KNOW SHES (usually) ALWAYS INVOLVED (somehow)
we should but we cant because she always has some perfectly unique photo that nicole encapsulates the story in so well … so one photo would not suffice
Her saying everyone she loves leaves her really breaks my heart, she deserves the world
murder is justified? what a crazy world!!!11!1!1
@@ponychuii yes, when your mother is physically and mentally torturing you i dont blame her for wanting her dead.
It’s not like she can get a normal job being an ex con in such a high profile case with no education
@@morrigan.444 her mother suffered from a syndrome..i thought you were supposed to sympathize with disabled people???
@@ponychuiiher condition is ,i think the only, condition that is diagnosed because of the act of abusing someone. Is a crime and a syndrome in one. Also is closer related to narcissistic personality disorder than others like schizophrenia. Meaning, someone with schizophrenia can be diagnosed without hurting anyone else or themselves. That is not the case with Munchausen, either you hurt yourself of others. Im not a therapist, i just like reading about conditions, so its just my opinion from what ive read
yes! i’ve been WAITING.
YES thank you for mentioning that POC need this same support when being released!! so many people come out with nothing to their name and have trouble getting back to their feet.
Please never stop these it’s the only way I feel like I can keep up with the internet
Thank you so much for talking about post release rehabilitation. Prison is fucking hard, but release is so much harder
Edit: I’m glad you mentioned the absolute noteable element of how woc are demonized / not treated with the same level of empathy
Edit again lol: I feel like my use of the word “criminals” isn’t nuanced but idk what other word to say. Anygays I said all that to say, the justice system & society at large has proved time and time again it is more empathetic to people who have committed crimes when they exist in white bodies & so the marketing of it all as something slay is annoying because I never consume media at face value, and I wish more people had media literacy when consuming content.
that is so true, also, combine it with the fact that she did less time for conspiracy to murder than most poc get for NON VIOLENT crimes is insane, like i get it, it was self defense against some horrible, unimaginable abuse but it was murder nonetheless. the courts were already too lenient in her conviction, she doesnt need to be glorified on top of that as well.
my attention span is so destroyed by short-form content, but whenever nicole puts out a video i am SAT
i really think gypsy and her team already had plans to become an influencer type for work bc what else was she gonna do for $ when she got out? Not that it’s bad i just definitely think it was intended to be that way.
she had access to social media before she got out
I can definitely see that considering people with a criminal record find it a lot harder to get work- this honestly might be the only way she can work considering she murdered someone.
The reflection of the tongs in the mirror kept cracking me up. Another great video 🩷
Please never stop this series, i'm so obsessed with it
Pleaaasee don't stop this series, I get so excited every time I see a new one up!!
" the chronically online girl videos aren't going anywhere" yasssss❤
i'm so glad you talked about natalia. it is crazy to me that people still see her as some crazy psychopath. it's heartbreaking that she hasn't gotten the overwhelming support and love that she deserves.
I hope she's able to find a therapist who can work with her level of complexity
this series is literally keeping me going
As someone who has a mother who was diagnosed w Munchausens by Proxy, almost 20 years ago, I have far too many thoughts on this, those of agreement vice versa. Also, I’m so happy I’m not the only one who finds Cajun accents attractive. That bayou thick twang with European accents thrown in there…yep!
Honestly, as a now adult that suffered under a mentally ill and extremely abusive mother, i just cannot possibly see Gypsy-rose as a killer. In my eyes, within my own conception, she is not a killer. I cant fuxking argue on that man.
Respectfully, understanding and being able to empathise with someone doesn’t not make them a killer
WOW i hadn’t heard about natalia in years. i was so shocked by how they just dumped her in the apartment. im gonna have to check out the doc.
me personally, i want gypsy out of the public eye and having a more fulfilling time offline than online. but she deserves to make her own choices. if she makes mistakes, she will learn from that. she needs some time to just have control and autonomy. that’s all i wish for her
i’m down to listen to whatever you feel like talking about❤
been loving these recent vids. I think what the world actually needs is a Nikki Nasty x Mike’s Mic Collab.
god bless for this Nicole, I've been out of the loop because I don't have socials anymore and SO caught off guard by some of the GRB headlines I've been seeing lately 😭💕
calling the story of a girl horrifically abused by her mother 'lore' does actually show how chronically online you are so im glad you have self awareness
Edit: she changed the title which is good
that’s exactly what i was thinking
While I agree, but I think what she meant by lore is everything that happened after she left prison as she said "new" lore
like i get that's the name of the series she's doing but in this context it's so god damn gross and she's part of the problem
NEW
@@obbinssshe changed the title thank god
I love your videos. You’re not a mikes mic knockoff. He makes great videos, you make great videos. Similar format, but we need more videos with these formats because they’re great and easy to follow! You put your own unique spin on it. Thanks for continuing to make these.
for the love of all things good in the world please never stop making these videos, comparing you to mikes mic is a compliment!!! you two are so talented!!! i love watching both of your videos back to back, it’s my favorite!!
You are my new internet bestie/soundtrack to all the tasks I don’t want to do, thank you!
this popped up in my recommended today, thinking about Gypsy-Rose's fame reminds me about how OJ died today and he was of course famous before his trial as an athlete but then became even more (in)famous for "not" being a murderer but he still was able to capitalize off of it and retain his "influencer" status
I only found your videos like a week ago but your energy is immaculate, don't let the haters change your content 😤
nicole how did you know i was just lookin for a new chronically online vid oml
nicole, don't listen to the haters. i like your videos and you like making them. You do not owe anyone anything. This channel is who matters. YESSS! Girl you said it the best. This is such a good way to think about this situation bc people are so quick to judge when they actually have NO IDEA what they would actually do in that situation bc they haven’t lived it. I really hope gypsy doesn’t get sucked into this social media stuff.

We need a Pt.2 a lot of these questions have been answered but SO many more questions have come up
OMG NEW CHRONICALLY GIRL VIDEO!!!
this is literally the most balanced, sane take on this ever and is very non-chronically online which is ironic considering the title of this series. i don’t understand why everyone is being absolutely insane about this situation but this was very refreshing and amazing!!
Love this video and the ideas you talked about.
I did want to mention, though, that there is a set of laws in America called the “Son of Sam Laws” that prohibits criminals from monetizing off of a crime they committed. So that’s why she can’t make money off of the movie or documentaries.
i love this new format actually iconic mwah
Yesss I loves it. I feel like ppl really need to understand we didn’t always have social media and that people have livesss
loving the formate of these vids! I'm personally not up to stuff, don't follow "drama" or what's happening (on the internet or irl, tbh) and i feel like you always serve a good and rational take on things
Best video about this topic that I've seen. Society loves to villainize women especially young women that are victims.
Your rant/explanation videos are unique because you come off as such a genuinely good person! Keep it up, don't let the internet brainrot in
This series is the reason I remain on RUclips
Please keep doing this format of videos it’s so delightful and insightful
I read an article from Gypsy where she said recently that her mother was and still is her best friend and that her mother was sick, but she wishes she came up with another solution. At the time she didn’t see another option, but now she wishes she could have her mom back…
… I can just only imagine how she feels. What I wish for her is a peaceful rest of her life away from the world, protected and with people that have her best interests
I love this series and mike’s mic version as well. The topics arent the same and the humor isnt as well. So keep doing what u want!
fierce. captivating. powerful.
these are the common adjectives in Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Nicole Rafiee.
Okay you’ve sent me down a hole learning about Natalia Grace and 100% need you to talk about the series and your opinions
I’m so obsessed with your endcard for some reason lol
i love the tchaikovsky in the background. one of my fav pieces
Nicole u r making this series for the other chronically online girlies and we will always back you
thank you for this, the switch up from people is very much driving me insane
THANK YOU. This whole thing has felt so surreal. Like I don't even know how I really feel about it because it's such a weird modern-day phenomenon.
I actually need you to never stop this series
Thank you for speaking about the black community && how certain people get certain treatment while others get treated like scum
i KNEW everyone would be stanning her for like two weeks and then turn on her. this happened to a survivor of a kidnapping in germany, she escaped on her own after 8 years and he killed himself immediately, and since people couldn't like blame him and put the outrage somewhere bc he was already dead, they somehow started to bully HER. Like doubting every word she said for NO REASON. and this is kinda what is happening to gypsy, they can't blame the mom anymore bc she died so the hate goes towards gypsy
also the people looking at the crime scene photos being like "SHE SHOULD BE IN JAIL" she was. she went to jail, did her time and was released. what else would you want?!
