- In today's video we rank the best and worst vegetables in terms of nutrition. This will be based not only in terms of the overall nutritional profile of vegetables, but more importantly which vegetables will be better for us in terms of digestion of those nutrients. And just to caveat, these vegetables will be based on the top 30 vegetables that people commonly eat.

TIER LIST SERIES (BEST & WORST)
I would like to welcome you to my Tier List (Best & Worst) series. Here I will rank foods not only in terms of their nutritional profile but also which foods and nutrients are better digested. Because its not just the foods that you are eating what is the important thing, its what your body can digest! As always if you have any suggestions for video or topic ideas then be sure to drop me an email at contact@gojimannutrition.com

I’d like to see you rank fruit.
GojiMan thanks so much for the tier list. Please keep making more we really appreciate them.
Can’t only agree 😊with
These lists are so great for a quick reference. I'd love to see a tier list of grains, please!
I would have put spinach in the B or C tier due to the fact that you can't eat a lot of it.
Agreed, spinach has so much oxalates (55x that of kale) that I genuinely worry about all the people piling spinach into to their daily smoothies.
Generally commercial mushrooms are grown in poor lighting and not UV, therefore have a very low level of Vit D. But if you leave them in the midday sun for about 15-20 minutes the Vit D level rises significantly.
Cauliflower above broccoli is absolutely baffling
How thoughtful of you to make this list for your viewers.
Utterly enjoyed the video, keep them coming!
Where are potaotes?
Courgette is a fruit like tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplants and every squashes and pumpkin.
I also missed potatoes 🥔, as a couple of others mentioned..., miss and miss, I eat them all the time 😏
I know that boiling them is best and then refrigerating before reheating and eaten or...
But information almost everywhere is all over the place, and I'm confused 😕
But even though they might not be quite up there I love them ❤💚
I think we can all agree that we want tier lists of every possible thing
Thank you Simon! Well presented! Love Veggie pics!
Great video. Surprised beetroot wasn't higher with that deep purple colour that stains everything. Would have been interested to see avocado included.
I enjoy videos like this, especially from you :) Thank you!
When I found out spinach was high in oxalates I was really bummed out, because I like cooking with spinach, and it's really high in vitamins / minerals. I rarely eat it anymore sadly.
For the next list, how about top 10 hard to obtain foods nutrition rankings( such as from Himalayas)
Why?
Legend. Gonna watch this one after coaching
Surprised to see artichokes so high on the list. I grow them myself, but after eating 40 of them this spring I left the remaining buds to bloom. Bumblebees love them too 🙂
Thanks so much, very useful.
I'm sure this tier list business is popular but I think there are no worst vegetables.
Very interesting, well researched ! Thank you GojiMan.
Cauliflower better than broccoli. I don’t know what to believe anymore!
Excellent resource. Thanks for collating all this :)
Please, list grains!
I love how my all time favorite vegetable make it to tier S and A
Thank you for the video .
Thanks!
I saw in another video that chinese cabbage was the best vegetable overall. Wonder where that would fit in this tier, factoring bioavailability etc
I love a good tier list video! This one was informative and I so appreciate all the information you've included 🙌🏼 Fruit tier list with the same criteria would be good please. (On side notes - Of course 🍆 was in D tier 😅 and - A to the m*therf**king Kaaaay!)
But higher in vitamins and minerals doesn’t necessary mean more health promoting, right?
Does fibre aid digestion?
Grains
You didn't indicate if it's by weight or calories, my gues is by weight.
At the top of the charts he's showing it says "100g"
Wot no parsnips?
I was about to ask the same thing! 😊
Ah, just spotted them in the table at number 20 (1:08). Good show. Love me some parsnips.
Not bad, but apart from the Vit A, they've got a lot in common with their close relative- carrot.
Lol, did he say "deer T" instead of "tier D" a multiple times or am I crazy?
Did you ever finish your PhD program?
Dier T xD
Not bad video but 8 ads in 15 mins makes you look greedy
