- This design is intermediate and may take a couple tries before getting the hang of it. The tricky part is weaving the frame without the two wires being pulled together, and twisting it at the end. It can get a little wonky if you're not careful.
Supplies:
18 gauge square, dead soft copper wire, 2 pieces, 7.5 inches long each
26 gauge round, dead soft wire, off the spool

Really clever way of getting the helix part! Will share on my blog so readers can come to your channel and learn more!
💜 Love it !!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love it!
Very cool ❣️☺️
Clever design, I love it! I think I'll make mine in mixed metal, with maybe the frame in Argentium and the weave 14kgf 😻
BTW ... these are really cute ❤️
Reminds me of 🧬 DNA ... a friend had me paint DNA symbols like that and make a pendant with a tray and glass cabochon. Maybe I can make some DNA earrings 😊
DNA IS a double helix lol...
Where, if you know, did you get those super small tipped bent nose pliers with the yellow/black handles?
Anyhow - I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS! Especially coming from the medical world! You teach wonderfully! So easy to follow!
Mahalo & Aloha!
I got them at Hobby Lobby. I wouldn't recommend them now though, cuz the handles are not ergonomic and eventually started making my hand sore.
Love them! Will round wire word?
I would think so, yes!
