Probably, though I'm surprised they themselves don't already know about this glitch before hand, it's my favorite glitch in the game. Brings me back to the times when you could grapple glitch in ball form, why'd they patch that... But I suppose this is a better form of it.

This vid helped me realize that the reason that I often need to get out of fights to heal up is that I switch to "tank" mode too often to shoot and become a much easier target. I should probably do a 20 game ball-only period to get really used to zooming around and not relying on shooting too much!
Yeah, from what I've seen from other top ball players, the general tactic is always hit and run. If you can't take out someone in a second or two after slamming them, you run away. And if you go in in a full group, gotta always have your shield ability ready to use, don't go in when on cooldown. With situational exceptions of course (like lets say you don't have shield, but most players are near an edge and you can boop them off all at once) .
@@mitkoogrozev This is the case for all fast high priority kill characters(tracer, ball, pharah, and technically doom, etc), you force out cooldowns and be a huge nuisance and that gives your team the resource and potentially positioning advantage
Correct ball is heavily based on cooldowns and cooldowns alone, most of the time only shoot when you have a specific goal in mind, other than that be looking for set-ups, big plays, and ult charge gain.

They think you’re cheating because of the out of ball glitch when you’re actually in ball form. Also, as fun as it is to have people cheat accuse you, enough reports WILL get you a ban. It’s already been proven that the reporting system in OW2 is not very good, and enough reports will auto-ban your account even if you weren’t actually cheating. Learn the amount of speed and space required to trigger fire momentum. You'll be surprised at the small angles you can work with. Then simply bouncing left to right will continuously trigger the flame state

Ball got one be one of the most strongest tanks in the game, even if you counter pick him, as long as a good ball plays around those counters, it's still really hard to shut down a Ball player.
I'd argue that it's still just as annoying personally. Sure, they're tying a hand behind their back, but it clearly isn't really stopping them from making the game unfun for the other team. They're still exploiting the same weaknesses that they were before, just differently.
I have hundreds of hours as ball, sitting plat 3 currently and I think my mechanics are decent. The grapple at 11:12 is boggling my mind. The transition back into fireball after bouncing off of the wall...
12:15 "wait, where is my team? Did we lose? What happened?" Literally me every time I solo a back line as tank. 3-4 kills solo and somehow my team is dead. What?
seeing ball played like this honestly just makes me mad that a hero like ball exists in the first place. im glad not many ppl have the dedication to play ball on this level and so we dont have to deal with a ball main booping 3 people per second while being twice as fast as the average ball player in every game.
