the amount of secondhand pain I got from watching your "good worlds" vanish to you stubbing your toe on a rock or getting hit with reaper jank is, admittedly, kind of impressive.
absolutely insane how he just says "aw dang that sucks" and then hops into a new world like nothing happened. becoming an expert at this mod takes all of the patience in the world
@nischhelm no, the blocks fail to generate. the nests are technically still there. just the sand overrides it. the dragon stays there as if there is a nest.
@chrismc128Goose is another specimen in himself, i personally really like his dry humor style. he's very entertaining in an unusual way for a minecraft youtuber
I love how the truest version of "don't take damage" or "very deadly experience" is to avoid playing as much of the game as possible/not letting the game do anything And it works.
Yeah that sounds about right for this modpack, the safest way to play it is not interacting with 99% of it. Literally do not do anything if you don't want to die unfairly, might as well go stare at a wall instead of playing the game, but knowing this modpack somehow that would find a way to kill you by summoning the wall staring demon that phases through walls and one shots you.
Wait- but beating the Ender Dragon isn't beating RLCraft that's just normal Minecraft's ending. Wouldn't beating RLCraft entail beating the final boss of the modpack? I can't remember what it was but I know it was in the lost cities dimension and the boss was from the same mod that adds the Doom enemies as boss fights. AH okay I see so you're saying because there's a weird bug that registers as a hit you can't continue past the ender dragon I mean you could just do that last but it'd be underwhelming after the other bosses with how- frankly bullshit they are This is a baller video btw once again reminding me that RLCraft looks obscenely fun despite how intense it seems on the surface.
Didn't recognize the Minecraft skin at first, but hello Cynthia from the hit games Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon Brilliant Dimond, and Pokemon Shining Pearl
I agree with the last point you made about learning to blame yourself means you can have a better understanding of the game and that you shouldn't immediately blame games, yada yada, they will make you a better person irl. But I do think there is a bit of nuance to that in the fact that it really depends on the game. RLCraft is a game with no guide. You have to figure out everything yourself or through other people's content and channels. It doesn't hold your hand so it's a lot harder to say that its the game's fault when it could be yours. And while there are some things the devs have done which were intentionally to make the game harder and screw over speed runners and casual players (because for whatever reason he thought it made the game better ig) learning from the ground up is how games work. However, when you do have games that have things like guides and questlines that are poorly explained, not knowing what to do and getting frustrated at the game is somewhat the game's fault. Like Cisco Dragonfyre poorly explains L2 and where to get certain loot yet has an entire questline that allegedly is meant to guide you to the endgame. However, you stagnate without knowing what comes next because the entire game explains it to you. It's like if Elden Ring just never had Melena explain that you needed to fight the fire giant after beating Morgott but instead told you, "well these thorns sure suck, man." Or like if Minecraft Achievements never pointed you towards blaze rods and a Nether Fortress but instead straight to the Ender Dragon. It would be very frustrating.
I wish I could make an entire video on good game design... 😅 Yeah, I think your spot on with that. There's a lot that goes into good game design, not nearly a simple enough topic for me to explain at the end of a vid XD Ofc, I still stand by the fact that even if there's bad design, you can still use the same mindset to get over it to a degree!
@dangerkoopa64 as my psychology professor would say: guilt is healthy, shame is unhealthy. Blaming yourself for your actions is how you course correct. To assign blame is to assign fault. If you blame the game, you assume the game needs to change behavior, if you blame yourself, you assume you need to change behavior. Nothing bad about it.
I am convinced RLcraft is some sort of psyop created specifically to contain the worst kinds of Minecraft players in one infinite torture realm Because no way this crap was made by an actual mentally stable human 😭
Btw you can rebind the feature that instantly transfers the contents of a chest into your inventory so you don't need to run your mouse through it in panic while waiting for a dragon to cook you any second.
okay i really thought i knew rlcraft till you pulled out like 50 tricks ive never seen in my life, I was hooked watching this playthrough congrats on persisting. it's such a humbling and rewarding experience. It's a shame most wont ever persevere but i guess some of us are just insane
11:41 i genuinely was sitting here like what song is this in the background only to realise I don’t hear this beat as the Tetris theme but as TETORIS 😭
I KNOWW 😭 At the very least I made my intentions clear from the start. I would have liked to beat all the lycanite bosses if it weren't for the crazy rng involved. So I just ended up going for the enderdragon% route. I also beat all three of the lycanite bosses hitless on my hardcore world i posted a few years back, so I don't really feel disatisfied with the result here :P
the amount of secondhand pain I got from watching your "good worlds" vanish to you stubbing your toe on a rock or getting hit with reaper jank is, admittedly, kind of impressive.
(also I 100% agree with your advice at the end, love u caleb ♥)
absolutely insane how he just says "aw dang that sucks" and then hops into a new world like nothing happened. becoming an expert at this mod takes all of the patience in the world
funny how the one biome that should never have dragons always has a dragon in it
i had question on why some dragons just dont have nests
are they too broke to afford a home? why are they homeless
@tawsifking9336 some nests fail to generate, think its biome/block related (like deserts never generate the nest)
@tawsifking9336 the dragon couldn’t even escape the housing crisis of 2008
@Surr3alD3signso the reason the dragons are always everywhere is because they have legit no limits on where they can spawn?
@nischhelm no, the blocks fail to generate. the nests are technically still there. just the sand overrides it. the dragon stays there as if there is a nest.
Raging was invented in 1300
People before 1300:
igblon mentioned
"Minecraft youtubers don't hate themselves enough"
The ever so humble Caleb:
I mean like... it was pretty fun tho
atleast he did not do 1000x pain edition (unlike another Anseriforme knows as neurotic goose)
@chrismc128 i was coming to say something along this lol
@chrismc128Goose is another specimen in himself, i personally really like his dry humor style. he's very entertaining in an unusual way for a minecraft youtuber
@Symmetry_Obsessed_Freak true
Using the good mic for narration while using the bad mic for gameplay was a spectacular decision.
I think it's the same mic for both, he's just closer to it for the narration (proximity effect).
I liked the non-narrating voice a lot better...
he did say he streamed it a year ago at the end of the video mayb he got a new mic
I'm starting to see a correlation between content creators with avian based personas and the need to utterly break RLCraft by any means necessary
@KekkusMaximus came here looking for this comment
GOOSE MENTION
@onlywomanaliveor Ducked?
THE GOOSE IS LOOSE
I know exactly 2 youtubers that fits the bill, which isnt a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice
This guy must have a will of steel to not start breaking stuff after loosing all of his progress by dismounting a horse wrong
fr, most of the time he just laughs it off
I slammed the table from second hand frustration. No way he didn't just cut off himself screaming too
9:07 Bro stayed on the death menu to watch his dogs go with him
It was tragic, but relatable 🤣
New early game xp method by killing the dragon?
Such a realistic modpack.
Fr
i love getting up in the morning and getting absolutely mauled by prehistoric creatures the second i step out of the house
roguelite craft
@kurushimeeReminds me of the 9999999 Speed Traffick from GTA 4
I love how the truest version of "don't take damage" or "very deadly experience" is to avoid playing as much of the game as possible/not letting the game do anything

@Azure_faeYeah we can those Banshees, but only in certain areas
Now Better Than Wolves Nightmare mode hitless... May God have mercy lol
I knew someone would say it XD
Also no
@Calebrune3 see u in a year buddy
...beat RLCraft Dregora hitless first lol 😂
@Calebrune3 Guys it's finally cannon he is doing btw nightmare hitless
@Calebrune3 see you in a year too bro
18:30 is the exact opposite of the Headless Horseman, great work
3:09 Atlas art.. so creative!
0:45 " which I responded NO, cause i am not an idiot", "but i am also an idiot so here we are."
I laughed way too much at this xD
I think I managed to play an entire five days on RLCraft on my janky old potato laptop before I gave up. This is actual insanity. Incredible
> The pack's tagline is essentially 'random BS constantly go and hurt you'
> CHOOSES TO DO A HITLESS?!?!
Wait-

Worlds most patient human being
This isn't "Beating RLcraft" it's more like "Beating Minecraft in RLcraft"
0:48 I swear that I remember seeing that comment with your reply
long answer: yes
short answer: please dont
Oh, you like RL craft? Name every single way to spawn a hostile mob.
Didn't recognize the Minecraft skin at first, but hello Cynthia from the hit games Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon Brilliant Dimond, and Pokemon Shining Pearl
"were you expecting this to be normal minecraft? this isn't minecraft, THIS IS CANCER"🗣🗣‼‼
Peak dropped

Haha😂
@pacakG it's them..

wow, a new video from caleb! time to drop EVERYTHING that i've been doing and watch it without a break.
the cauldron to purify water seems so simple, cant believe I never thought of it!
05:46 very manly scream 😂

i think "blame" is just a very poor choice is words here and ruins the intended message
@dangerkoopa64Open to suggestions. I do blame myself though, it doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Loki got W life advice with the taking responsibility bit and how it actually opens you up to new possibilities and higher achievement
bruh im playing fallout 4 while watching this and i still instinctually ran from the creeper hisses
14:54 you flew alright, straight into purgatory
This pack is all luck and BS and somehow you managed to make it skill based, props to you
@btarg1 surprised lycanites didn't do a lycanites more often lol
Hardest part wasn't beating it hitless
hardest part was editing all this
It's been over a year since you completed this
Yeeaahhhhhh... that's actually so real loll
now do this in better than wolves
18:33 The headlessless horseman
I love his scream sm 5:45
18:31 bodyless horseman lol
0:48 “…because I’m not an idiot. And then I was an idiot.”
Doing heroine seems less self destructive than this
11:33 Alan counting his paperclips
all these mods make minecraft look like the mario in unreal engine 5 but i can't stop watching it
1:46 "im not safe" sung with rattlesnake melody
Using Hinkik and A Himitsu's "Realms" for the dragon fight bgm was just peak
2:23 i love the drawings
5:34
"NOO. NOOOUUH 💅"
i think bro was getting affected by the potion irl
10:00 Tetris?? epic
5:43 that note tho..😮
Now do the 3 final bosses
5:44 this was the funniest shit i've heard all week
27:47 double consumed flight pots :dies:
how did bro watch 27 minutes of the video in 9 minutes?
I knew someone would notice, ofc it was you XD
That line about how you appreciate your love for RLcraft right after you anti horsetamine hit deep
I am convinced RLcraft is some sort of psyop created specifically to contain the worst kinds of Minecraft players in one infinite torture realm
Because no way this crap was made by an actual mentally stable human 😭
3:57 "Perfect ENT for this run"
Foreshadowing is a narrative device...
the most patient man in the world
I was literally just rewatching all your old challenge videos thinking "I bet he'll upload again soon."
Came here expecting silver, got gold instead
You are insane man, you really hate yourself aren't you?
I like a good challenge :P
18:35 The headful horseman
...now do it, but with the *actual* final boss, Amalgalich.
3:10 amazing visual example
here i thought i was good at rlcraft by beating the ender dragon in hardcore then this guy comes around
3:09 that’s so cool I love that! Not sure if that’s an RL thing or just an edit but I really like it
This is so incredibly cursed but such an insane achievment goob job :3
Super impressive ngl, this mod pack continues to make my cholesterol fkn rocket.
Btw you can rebind the feature that instantly transfers the contents of a chest into your inventory so you don't need to run your mouse through it in panic while waiting for a dragon to cook you any second.
*who wants to break the bad news that defeating Amalgalich is the Actual legitimate beating the game*
3:49 Dang, what a lovely mob who can't wait to meet you bro (^_^)/~~
Nooo another 5 months of waiting.... One of the best RUclipsrs
Thanks
I saw in Neurotic Gooses dregora challenge that sneaking is actually really strong against a lot of enemies
okay i really thought i knew rlcraft till you pulled out like 50 tricks ive never seen in my life, I was hooked watching this playthrough congrats on persisting. it's such a humbling and rewarding experience. It's a shame most wont ever persevere but i guess some of us are just insane
Christ almighty...
Man, and I thought me doing ultra hardcore on vanilla was difficult. Gg bro
please keep doing this, we love when you make those noises.
tbh rlcraft feels like you die in one hit anyway
I LITERALLY clicked this video thinking "what is wrong with this guy?"
yoooo Caleb once again doing a massive masochist move, based.
I knew I recognized that noise those villagers were making...
Me after being asked what is the penultimate letter of the alphabet 6:10
Ending advice was great irl advice. Hope your doing well caleb
I had nooo idea the cauldron was so op like that! (purification/brewing)
This felt like it was just yesterday
Yeah it does. Though... maybe that was because I was editting it for 12 hours yesterday
Maybe maybe
you should try a full run with all 4 bosses doing an armorless challenge
11:41 i genuinely was sitting here like what song is this in the background only to realise I don’t hear this beat as the Tetris theme but as TETORIS 😭
Another fallen to the tetopocalypse 🫡
i have never left a comment on youtube but i have to say i really enjoy your channel and your advice at the end of this video was lovely!
18:32 bodyless horseman
Og minecraft battle mini game music hitting 😮💨
using a hopper to loot the chest is one of the smartest things I have seen in minecraft.
the little strategy guide drawings/animations are so awesome
Crazy how villigers ahhhh laviousaa made into vedio😂❤
Cool, now beat rlcraft dregora
1:05 most normal rlcraft spawn
18:32 The opposite of the headless horseman
remember watching this run live, had to view the full run #75 again. epic stuff. your patience and skill is otherworldly
beat? You didn't get Rahovart or the others ):
I KNOWW 😭
At the very least I made my intentions clear from the start.
@Calebrune3 You definitely shouldn't feel dissatisfied, you did great (:
He beats Minecraft on the modpack, not beating the mod pack so you can chill here. Actually you are chill just kiddin' :>
As a fellow Caleb, I have indeed found myself wondering:
“What is wrong with you Caleb?”
On the daily actually
This is actually insane
Now beat the true rlcraft final boss without taking damage.
