Alex is a truly great skater in his own right, but he comes across as feeling slightly threatened by JG - it's a totally natural thing, don't get me wrong, I am not criticising here at all. Just little tells going on throughout this video, and the end of it for sure. The reason JG gets better and better is because he has a role model like you, Alex, you set the stage for Jamie. Be proud of each other, peace!
Was talking about this with a friend the other day. When Alex isn't getting the attention he fecks off and starts fannying around. Have seen it happen in a few vids now. The guy is an unreal skater and is obviously very competitive but he needs to get over himself sometimes.
I couldn't help but notice this too. Alex should try to embrace these moments because it's really starting to look like JG might be that guy. A humble perfectionist who is producing something otherworldly on his board with some serious style. I have a feeling he's going to rack up some nbd footage in LA and turn a lot of heads over there. He's about to blow up.
