In my experience, putting on a lot of muscle definitively made people respect me more, and i got more attention from women. Do direct neck and trap training, it makes you look even stronger and bigger. I recommend a upper/lower split, focus on squats, dumbell bench press and weighted neutral grip pull ups. You can use a resistance band to train your neck and forearms.
Got fired 3 months ago from a dogshit job. Took a month to reassess, and then started going to the gym, finally figured out fitness and the conviction part. I think i gained maybe ~5lb so far, first time in my life, ive been stuck at 155 for _years_ Not a huge difference, but i went to a local store the other day and the cashier was straight flirting with me and smiling. Didn't even realize till I got in the car. I feel im getting my revenge, already, for lack of a better word.

The best part about being fit is that clothes actually fit you. It increasingly becomes hard to find a shirt or pants or anything that doenst look good because well… your body looks good and as a result causes clothing to sit well. When I was fat there were clothes I had in my closet that I would never wear (ironically bc they were too big for me) but as you build your frame things that were to large or that just didn’t look good suddenly do. It’s a strange feeling when you realize it after trying on old clothes. It’s night and day. And you realize just how much you missed out on by not treating your body right. It’s the most important part that every fashion guru leaves out. Probably because they don’t want to offend. But being fit is the best thing you can do for your fashion hands down. You also won’t need to alter clothes to look well on you as much so it will literally save you money.
Dear Captain Sinbad, I just watched this video and I must say it was a well needed 'talking too!" I am turning 60 in 6 days and I am going through a bit of a life transformation. I started lifting weights in Feb but because I was so out of shape I opted to lift them in my bed due to my back muscles cramping when I laid on a flat surface. I have strengthen my core dramatically but I am still in the same clothes, still in the same size and only down 10lbs. HOWEVER! I am so much stronger and people are noticing the change in my body definition. It is so very true what you said that it takes so much longer than we think and the biggest reason is that, for me at least, I fall off of the wagon. Like last week, I was very upset (having two funerals to attend along with all my other duties) and I did not work out but one day all week. Life slips me up but this time I am bound and determined to keep getting back up. I have begun realizing that it will take me at least a year, if not longer to gain the body composition that I want and that is not including the past 8 months I have been working out! So in essence I am looking at 2 years of forcing myself to do what will make me the person I want to be. It was a comfort to me to hear you say all the things you said in this video. I think you are right in that we are better when we do it the hard way. So many women around me are taking drugs that cut off their hunger hormone and Viola! they are thin. Not me. There is a price to pay for the easy way and what I really want is exactly what you said in this video, I want the power that comes from overcoming laziness and slough. I want the results of doing the hard self sacrificing things that will get me where I want to go AND more importantly if I don't realize my body fitness goals what that says to me is that I did not value myself highly enough to get there. So either way, succeed or fail I am living in reality and I have no one but myself to blame and also no one but myself to give credit to. What I find hardest as an older woman working out is that I have to go slower and build at a more steady pace because I am far more out of shape then I realize, or care to admit. It is like starting at the beginning and it is very difficult to realize that if I want to incorporate jumping rope into my workout routine it is going to take me months to get to the place where I will actually be burning fat and getting the benefits from jumping because my body can't really do the exercise! So before I loose the weight and get the body definition I have to train and condition my body to actually be able to handle 10 minutes of continual jumping. Everyone has their own battles. As someone who's suffered from occipital nuralga (suicide migrations) for 25 years; most people have no concept of what actual pain is, physical pain is truly nothing by comparison. Made me hard as nails. Good luck out there men.
My man, I don’t want to bring negative energy to you, but I think this may be why your filmmaking may be suffering. Look, I’m building a business right now and fully locked in after months of half 🫏ing it. One thing I found was a big distraction was being obsessed with fitness. I got deep into power lifting, and what I’ve found is once you go deep into a fitness rabbit hole, while it does make you more productive, it also makes you less creative. Creativity comes from lateral thinking, and letting your mind wander to an extent. It also requires quite a lot of mental bandwidth set towards your creative pursuit. Right now I do just basic maintenance lifting and walking and have found it much easier to come up with ideas for my business. Yes, I’m in worse shape as a result, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to make for my ultimate goal.
Something I would like to add to this is that a downside of maintaining big muscle tissue is that you will need more recovery/sleep. Also if you lift heavy in the morning it will absolutely diminish your ability for deeply focused mental activity for the remainder of the day.
Seasons of life. If fitness has been neglected, the myriad benefits of being slightly obsessive about it can, in my experience, provide a lot of benefit. But you're right, it definitely pulls from a joint finite mental resource. However! There has been a *lot* of incredible research in exercise science over the past 3 years. I've been jacked pretty much my entire life (got into fitness at 13 emulating my parent's fitness stint, got obsessed, etc etc). Up until last year (I'm 33 now), I had been training with a level of intensity that taxed by central nervous system enough to definitely impede creative work. Now, with stretch-mediated hypertrophy (cliff notes: lower weights, slow eccentrics + paused stretches at the bottom, 1-3 RIR instead of going to failure all the time - still takes a shitload of effort, but it's more controlled and almost meditative) being my primary method of lifting, I can maintain a stupidly amazing physique with around 2 workouts per week, and both of those are far less mentally taxing than any of my 5+ day per week workouts used to be... and I've somehow put on a few pounds of muscle over the past year and a half, too (although, the actual muscle gain came from periods where I was indeed lifting 5+ days per week, just, y'know, smarter). And that's after having been at the same weight since my early 20s, which I assumed was my natural limit. I guess not. For reference: I hovered around 182, 5'11", ~9% bodyfat, and am now pushing the upper 180s, roughly same bodyfat, most people think I'm on gear. I would have thought so, too, if I wasn't being convinced more recently that our estimations of natural maximums might be a bit low with improved training. And, of course, I'm speaking about bodybuilding, not strength training, which is going to tax your CNS hard if you're doing it right at all, of course. In any case, I highly suggest anyone and everyone relearn (or just learn) how to build muscle as intelligently as possible via RP Strength (RUclips channel, company, just watch Dr. Mike and make your life better). Apparently we can have our cake and eat it, too.
My most life-changing discovery was getting fit for a purpose beyond trying to appeal to girls. Nothing wrong with that of course for anyone that trains for vanity! A relationship with one's own body and limits is such a personal and deep thing that it's important to fully understand. I eventually realized that everything I do translates to better performance in the mountains - whether that's mountaineering, hiking, skiing, trail running, or even just existing at a higher altitude! It really is life changing to get in shape- gives you so so SO much more potential for finding purpose.
Becoming Fit is the cheapest way to upgrade your Car. My car has become more roomy as I’ve lost 45 pounds. Being in shape makes your car look better. Even when driving a semi truck. Since I’ve been riding bicycles, I look at the roads differently since I’ve conquered them. Similar to the way I look at mountains after I’ve hiked them. Loosing 45 pounds has been a challenging and fun journey for me. I’ve gained more satisfaction with myself. My goal is to keep the healthy lifestyle and build muscle. Sometimes you have to work less hours or change to an easier job so that you can manage your personal fitness. I have a problem with stress that causes physical pain so I try to avoid situations that causes stress like working long hours, overnights and avoid driving fast.

I got on keto and lost a ton of weight over the last year. I can say without a doubt that people treat you differently when you are fat vs how they treat you when you are in shape. When I was fat I could tell that people didn't take me seriously. For a while there I was trying to get a new job while I was still fat and I could see it in the interviewers face as soon as they saw me that they were thinking that I wasn't the right person for the job, before I even had a chance to open my mouth. Now I am 100lbs lighter than I was a year ago and looking again and the reaction I get from recruiters is the opposite. The halo effect is a real thing.

Body image molding shows not how much hard work you can do, but how effortless you can make that hard work look just from the way you take care of your body. There's a ticking clock that says "ready to do this task? GO!" I noticed getting faster as I am more fit vs those lazy days when I could barely be motivated to do HIIT. If that clock was getting faster, the momentum was much easier to carry and the deep focus got more refined and sustained longer than usual. I had to tell myself sometimes that it was okay to slow down and do the requirement analysis while in recovery to repair worn muscles before doing lots of work in the wrong direction and get burnt out. That's why velocity is speed _with_ direction. As far as looks, the Olympic shape of body isn't the norm because it's hard to achieve compared to being slim or big, which is why it's so alluring to chase people who have that little extra muscle. It's because the visual carries plenty of assumptions about the mental game.
I think confidence comes from evidence. When your insecurities incessantly assail you, the cold hard evidence of being discplined, consistent, congruent to yourself , etc. is your shield Also: Glad to hear from you again Cap'n :D

Fitness is actually a secondary but welcome byproduct of working out. It’s the mental benefits that end up being the main asset, even if was the physical that initiated the process. Your brain becomes razor sharp, which took me by surprise.
Tbh the change is more from inside out than the outside validation. You’ll be never bothered about problems from self esteem anymore. You’ll be happy with yourself.
I agree. To see real body transformation takes years. I've been consistent for over a year now and today (age 49) I thought I could push 225 on bench and had to drop to 195lbs. Now, I did incline bench 1st, so 195 was good but next week I am going to tackle 225 and try to see how many I can get.
The way you look on the outside is often a reflection on how your internal state. Obese or overweight people seldom feel great about themselves and often believe they're not good enough. Fitness, losing weight and gaining muscle is going to help you shed that self belief and that goes hand in hand with how you interact with the world.
Hey dude, hope you take this in a constructive way but you aren't close to "jacked". There are a few things that I think are strongly hindering your muscle building progress. 1. Too much focus on "marathon training". Drop that shit if you actually want to get jacked. Cardio has its place but running 3-4 miles a couple of times a week is all you need for optimal health benefits. More than that is seriously counterproductive to hypertrophy. Get your dream physique and you can return to endurance running later in life (most endurance hobbyists are over 35 anyway). 2. I remember you saying that you are mostly vegetarian. You would definitely benefit by switching to a high-protein meat based (beef, chicken, lamb, fish) diet. Get at least 150g of animal based protein per day at a slight caloric surplus. 3. More controversial but I think there is too much focus on "compound" movements in your routine. They're important to build a foundation of strength but I strongly believe in isolation movements to bring out those "show" muscles that actually give you the "jacked" look. There is no shame in having dedicated "arm days" or "shoulder days" to bring up those lagging muscles. If your goal is hypertrophy you need to train like a bodybuilder and not a powerlifter. Train how you want to look. Good luck with your future training and hope to see an actually jacked Nikhil in a year or two.
I agree and it's no shame its just an observation when I am watching his video. I noticed that he is not that toned. You pointed out things that could tone or get him jacked. Genetics can be factors as well but I wouldn't use that as a hinderance.
If you eat enough, running does not harm hypertrophy at all; besides, there is more than "being jacked," running can also be fun. As for the meat, it's not needed too: protein is protein. I agree with the isolation movements, they can be helpful in balancing out your physique; when you only train your weak points, you'll get balanced and toned eventually

The one thing that the world should be hearing is that it takes 3 years and there are no shortcuts, being able to pull yourself up in the low days and seeing no improvements for months and still being consistent, could be really challenging. But realising that 3 years is like 5% of the 60 years ahead that you gonna reap the benefits of it.
I have been max: 110 kg and on the low: 72kg and quite fit, no skinny fat condition. Biggest upsides: Energy and desire to do things in general when in a healthy weight range. Biggest downside: Hunger...even. It also made me a lot more cynical due to the realization of just HOW superficial people are. It made me think "These people aint shit" character wise and treated them as such, which in a twisted way made me more popular with associates, women,colleagues in a way that I can't comprehend since I genuinely treated people with indifference and little care ( close friends and family aside)
I'm taking fitness seriously for the first time ever and being able to achieve difficult things through willpower and dedication is rewarding by itself, let alone everything else
To be fair to RSD Tyler/Owen, he does say just be confident and you can get girls but he also says to do the work to become your best self physically, and in every other way. His main point is don't wait until you reach whatever imagined marker of fitness or wealth to start.

6:25 Bruh istg the job interview part is true haha I know I got hired because I was confident and I prepared for the interview questions, but I'm not gonna lie that me being jacked also helped a lot. Istg the interviewer was lowkey flirting with me with the way she talked to me and her body language during the whole interview, she didn't give me a hard time at all. Also the arrogance part is true but in a good way, being fit just gave me the confidence that I've pushed myself pass my limit in the gym than these nerd looking guys trying to do the interview. It's like in my head I'm thinking how tf is this puny human gonna compete with me in this interview. This all sounds mean but istg we're all competing in this world so it's best to have some advantage.
Lifting weights changed my life. Put on a lot of muscle ovet 4 years. Went from 6'5 215lbs to 260lbs. I look completely different. Never received compliments on my physique until i was 33 years old. Im 35 now. Im treated differently by men and women. However, its hard for me to relate to people who don't lift or try to improve themselves physically. One thing i did to gain size was kept my running or cardio not as intense or long.

Yes. Getting jacked is the EASIEST and quickest cheat code in life and will give you best returns for your efforts. If I could be jacked and make 35k per year vs being sloppy and making 250k per year, taking jacked every time! Of course having both fitness and income is best. But being ripped is for real a cheat code. 1. Train consistently (doesn’t matter how you do it or which regimen, just do it week after week, you will learn through personal experience how to efficiently get gains) 2. Walk consistently (yes, you only need to walk. Running, sprinting, swimming, box jumps, etc all bonus) I am 43 and ripped from only walking 3-4 times per week for 4 miles with some incline 3. Proper nutrition, 85-90% of the time. Every healthy meal and healthy day is a victory toward being lean and ripped. Bonus: Don’t drink alcohol, ride momentum train to Ripped-ville
Agree, I do crossfit, muay thai, kickbox and regular boxing and I'm sure if my diet was more consistant I'd be more jacked. Also Im thinking about doing a course for cyber security or developer
It is definitely true that getting fit will draw attention from women. I never got the double takes when I was overweight. Think about it, you don’t notice overweight women unless they are the only one in a crowd. If you do notice, you don’t look twice. When it comes to initial attraction from women, it works because the physical aspect is important to women also. So in the long run, what women and men find attractive is different. There will never be a moment that physical attraction is irrelevant to my attraction to women. But for women, beyond going from invisible to visible, their attraction triggers are totally different. Bottom line, you will go from invisible to visible if you get fit as a guy. That solves the biggest problem.
I've had men (who are older than me) tell me that they wish they had my muscular build, and my deep voice, because they feel unattractive to women. I am 22. I asked 18 girls out for a date in the past 2 an a half years. All but one said no. Being strong, muscular, and having a deep manly voice (people say my voice is manly) will not make the slightest difference in the dating market. I go to the gym and stay strong because of my job (contracting and home improvement).
Girls reject for all sorts of reasons. Some dont want to deal with a fit guy. The thing that matters actually, is how you were rejected. If it was in a polite way, it was mostly due to the silly reason above.
"I don't trust fat people". I sort of had that mindset when I used to hit the gym regularly. Its very different when you have a significant amount of stress/responsibilities. The majority of "chubby" dudes are exactly how you describe them: long hours at work , taking care of kids, chores, etc. When you are stressed out, your actual strength/ability to hit that last rep and hold off on that extra serving significantly diminishes. Thats why its so rare.

My man, I don’t want to bring negative energy to you, but I think this may be why your filmmaking may be suffering. Look, I’m building a business right now and fully locked in after months of half 🫏ing it. One thing I found was a big distraction was being obsessed with fitness. I got deep into power lifting, and what I’ve found is once you go deep into a fitness rabbit hole, while it does make you more productive, it also makes you less creative. Creativity comes from lateral thinking, and letting your mind wander to an extent. It also requires quite a lot of mental bandwidth set towards your creative pursuit. Right now I do just basic maintenance lifting and walking and have found it much easier to come up with ideas for my business. Yes, I’m in worse shape as a result, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to make for my ultimate goal.

Something I would like to add to this is that a downside of maintaining big muscle tissue is that you will need more recovery/sleep.
Also if you lift heavy in the morning it will absolutely diminish your ability for deeply focused mental activity for the remainder of the day.
Seasons of life. If fitness has been neglected, the myriad benefits of being slightly obsessive about it can, in my experience, provide a lot of benefit. But you're right, it definitely pulls from a joint finite mental resource.
However! There has been a *lot* of incredible research in exercise science over the past 3 years. I've been jacked pretty much my entire life (got into fitness at 13 emulating my parent's fitness stint, got obsessed, etc etc). Up until last year (I'm 33 now), I had been training with a level of intensity that taxed by central nervous system enough to definitely impede creative work.
Now, with stretch-mediated hypertrophy (cliff notes: lower weights, slow eccentrics + paused stretches at the bottom, 1-3 RIR instead of going to failure all the time - still takes a shitload of effort, but it's more controlled and almost meditative) being my primary method of lifting, I can maintain a stupidly amazing physique with around 2 workouts per week, and both of those are far less mentally taxing than any of my 5+ day per week workouts used to be... and I've somehow put on a few pounds of muscle over the past year and a half, too (although, the actual muscle gain came from periods where I was indeed lifting 5+ days per week, just, y'know, smarter). And that's after having been at the same weight since my early 20s, which I assumed was my natural limit. I guess not. For reference: I hovered around 182, 5'11", ~9% bodyfat, and am now pushing the upper 180s, roughly same bodyfat, most people think I'm on gear. I would have thought so, too, if I wasn't being convinced more recently that our estimations of natural maximums might be a bit low with improved training. And, of course, I'm speaking about bodybuilding, not strength training, which is going to tax your CNS hard if you're doing it right at all, of course.
In any case, I highly suggest anyone and everyone relearn (or just learn) how to build muscle as intelligently as possible via RP Strength (RUclips channel, company, just watch Dr. Mike and make your life better). Apparently we can have our cake and eat it, too.
My most life-changing discovery was getting fit for a purpose beyond trying to appeal to girls. Nothing wrong with that of course for anyone that trains for vanity! A relationship with one's own body and limits is such a personal and deep thing that it's important to fully understand. I eventually realized that everything I do translates to better performance in the mountains - whether that's mountaineering, hiking, skiing, trail running, or even just existing at a higher altitude! It really is life changing to get in shape- gives you so so SO much more potential for finding purpose.

I got on keto and lost a ton of weight over the last year. I can say without a doubt that people treat you differently when you are fat vs how they treat you when you are in shape. When I was fat I could tell that people didn't take me seriously. For a while there I was trying to get a new job while I was still fat and I could see it in the interviewers face as soon as they saw me that they were thinking that I wasn't the right person for the job, before I even had a chance to open my mouth. Now I am 100lbs lighter than I was a year ago and looking again and the reaction I get from recruiters is the opposite. The halo effect is a real thing.
Confidence comes from having options. It means that the failure of one interaction is not so important which leads to less stress.

Running is so important for your cardiovascular system and overall athletic performance.
Body image molding shows not how much hard work you can do, but how effortless you can make that hard work look just from the way you take care of your body. There's a ticking clock that says "ready to do this task? GO!" I noticed getting faster as I am more fit vs those lazy days when I could barely be motivated to do HIIT. If that clock was getting faster, the momentum was much easier to carry and the deep focus got more refined and sustained longer than usual. I had to tell myself sometimes that it was okay to slow down and do the requirement analysis while in recovery to repair worn muscles before doing lots of work in the wrong direction and get burnt out. That's why velocity is speed _with_ direction.
As far as looks, the Olympic shape of body isn't the norm because it's hard to achieve compared to being slim or big, which is why it's so alluring to chase people who have that little extra muscle. It's because the visual carries plenty of assumptions about the mental game.

Fitness is actually a secondary but welcome byproduct of working out. It’s the mental benefits that end up being the main asset, even if was the physical that initiated the process. Your brain becomes razor sharp, which took me by surprise.

I agree. To see real body transformation takes years. I've been consistent for over a year now and today (age 49) I thought I could push 225 on bench and had to drop to 195lbs. Now, I did incline bench 1st, so 195 was good but next week I am going to tackle 225 and try to see how many I can get.

I would say instead of running do intervals sprints. That way you gain muscles and get growth hormone spike in your body.
The way you look on the outside is often a reflection on how your internal state. Obese or overweight people seldom feel great about themselves and often believe they're not good enough. Fitness, losing weight and gaining muscle is going to help you shed that self belief and that goes hand in hand with how you interact with the world.
Energy is probably the definitive factor. Conviction is part of that. But also seeing you have fun on your mission. Oh and yeah, have a mission lol.
Dedication, consistency and a good diet will pay dividends in the long run, I am 67 years old now and I feel in the best shape of my life, no regrets.

“Self imposed weakness” is a phrase im stealing
Hey dude, hope you take this in a constructive way but you aren't close to "jacked". There are a few things that I think are strongly hindering your muscle building progress.
1. Too much focus on "marathon training". Drop that shit if you actually want to get jacked. Cardio has its place but running 3-4 miles a couple of times a week is all you need for optimal health benefits. More than that is seriously counterproductive to hypertrophy. Get your dream physique and you can return to endurance running later in life (most endurance hobbyists are over 35 anyway).
2. I remember you saying that you are mostly vegetarian. You would definitely benefit by switching to a high-protein meat based (beef, chicken, lamb, fish) diet. Get at least 150g of animal based protein per day at a slight caloric surplus.
3. More controversial but I think there is too much focus on "compound" movements in your routine. They're important to build a foundation of strength but I strongly believe in isolation movements to bring out those "show" muscles that actually give you the "jacked" look. There is no shame in having dedicated "arm days" or "shoulder days" to bring up those lagging muscles. If your goal is hypertrophy you need to train like a bodybuilder and not a powerlifter. Train how you want to look.

I agree and it's no shame its just an observation when I am watching his video. I noticed that he is not that toned. You pointed out things that could tone or get him jacked. Genetics can be factors as well but I wouldn't use that as a hinderance.

If you eat enough, running does not harm hypertrophy at all; besides, there is more than "being jacked," running can also be fun. As for the meat, it's not needed too: protein is protein. I agree with the isolation movements, they can be helpful in balancing out your physique; when you only train your weak points, you'll get balanced and toned eventually
@@terrortinus Protein is actually an umbrella term for different amino acids, with the specific amino acid profiles being very different for animal based and plant based foods. So no, 20 grams of protein from lentils is not the same as 20 grams of protein from red meat.

The one thing that the world should be hearing is that it takes 3 years and there are no shortcuts, being able to pull yourself up in the low days and seeing no improvements for months and still being consistent, could be really challenging. But realising that 3 years is like 5% of the 60 years ahead that you gonna reap the benefits of it.

I have been max: 110 kg and on the low: 72kg and quite fit, no skinny fat condition. Biggest upsides: Energy and desire to do things in general when in a healthy weight range. Biggest downside: Hunger...even. It also made me a lot more cynical due to the realization of just HOW superficial people are. It made me think "These people aint shit" character wise and treated them as such, which in a twisted way made me more popular with associates, women,colleagues in a way that I can't comprehend since I genuinely treated people with indifference and little care ( close friends and family aside)

Istg the interviewer was lowkey flirting with me with the way she talked to me and her body language during the whole interview, she didn't give me a hard time at all. Also the arrogance part is true but in a good way, being fit just gave me the confidence that I've pushed myself pass my limit in the gym than these nerd looking guys trying to do the interview. Lifting weights changed my life. Put on a lot of muscle ovet 4 years. Went from 6'5 215lbs to 260lbs. I look completely different. Never received compliments on my physique until i was 33 years old. Im 35 now. Im treated differently by men and women. However, its hard for me to relate to people who don't lift or try to improve themselves physically.
One thing i did to gain size was kept my running or cardio not as intense or long.
Anything that changes your perception of yourself changes your life. Haven't watched your videos as much, cause you probably want your viewers to watch less RUclips and start grinding. Still think your channel is great and hope it continues to grow and be positive influence.

Yes. Getting jacked is the EASIEST and quickest cheat code in life and will give you best returns for your efforts. If I could be jacked and make 35k per year vs being sloppy and making 250k per year, taking jacked every time! Of course having both fitness and income is best. But being ripped is for real a cheat code.
1. Train consistently (doesn’t matter how you do it or which regimen, just do it week after week, you will learn through personal experience how to efficiently get gains)
2. Walk consistently (yes, you only need to walk. Running, sprinting, swimming, box jumps, etc all bonus) I am 43 and ripped from only walking 3-4 times per week for 4 miles with some incline
3. Proper nutrition, 85-90% of the time. Every healthy meal and healthy day is a victory toward being lean and ripped.
Bonus: Don’t drink alcohol, ride momentum train to Ripped-ville

It is definitely true that getting fit will draw attention from women. I never got the double takes when I was overweight.
Think about it, you don’t notice overweight women unless they are the only one in a crowd. If you do notice, you don’t look twice.
When it comes to initial attraction from women, it works because the physical aspect is important to women also.
So in the long run, what women and men find attractive is different. There will never be a moment that physical attraction is irrelevant to my attraction to women. But for women, beyond going from invisible to visible, their attraction triggers are totally different.
Bottom line, you will go from invisible to visible if you get fit as a guy. That solves the biggest problem.

I've had men (who are older than me) tell me that they wish they had my muscular build, and my deep voice, because they feel unattractive to women. I am 22. I asked 18 girls out for a date in the past 2 an a half years. All but one said no.
Being strong, muscular, and having a deep manly voice (people say my voice is manly) will not make the slightest difference in the dating market. I go to the gym and stay strong because of my job (contracting and home improvement).
Girls reject for all sorts of reasons. Some dont want to deal with a fit guy. The thing that matters actually, is how you were rejected. If it was in a polite way, it was mostly due to the silly reason above.
"I don't trust fat people". I sort of had that mindset when I used to hit the gym regularly. Its very different when you have a significant amount of stress/responsibilities. The majority of "chubby" dudes are exactly how you describe them: long hours at work , taking care of kids, chores, etc. When you are stressed out, your actual strength/ability to hit that last rep and hold off on that extra serving significantly diminishes.
Thats why its so rare.
