The styles would not be that compatiable. Tyson was a Pressure fighter using the Peek a Boo style. A Muay Mat(Heavy Punches with Low Kicks/Muay Kao(Heavy Knees) combo style would fit a fighter like Tyson more. Tae Kwon Do requires range to execute properly. I would say a ranged fighter like Tommy "The Hitman" Hearts or even Sugar Ray Robinson would fit Tae Kwon Do style kicks more.
It's not the style it's the person using it I always see people make comments on don't do flashy moves don't do spinning moves don't do jumping moves but this is pretty darn good proof here the person wielding the hammer 🔨 makes the best blacksmith

Yeah taekwondo is good style for k1 but you must to win quickly because if you takes longer in battle.,your stamina will drain dramatically.,, because taekwondo is a hard kickers and also powerful kicks...so if you kick harder must be hit so that your power will not waste in the air...
