That bull is extremely confused and gets frustrated a few times (hoof pawing and head bowing). And he was so polite not to step on anybody when walking over people. I do have to say that I much prefer this over actually trying to kill the poor thing.
I’m sure that was the next bit of entertainment.

@@echotrash466 It is certainly not any worse a death than a bear would inflict. As long as your not tying it down and skinning it alive peice by peice for 3 long days while rubbing salt in the wound, I see no issue.

Call me what you will. But personally, I appreciate how this shows that a bull won't just attack any human who comes too close. He's probably confused, and admittedly a bit irritated. But he doesn't feel threatened, so he doesn't attack anyone.

There is the tradional "course camarguaise" but around this there is a lot of game with bull where everybody can participate...
For example the put a little pound in the middle of the arena and the public have to put the bull inside (taureau piscine)
Or even sometime games take place directly in the street

Literally the first time I watch something involving these creatures and humans where they are not trying to kill the bull. Amazing. So there are ways to create activities where the animal is not hurt. Here it is.

I actually ran with the bulls in Moita, Portugal fall of 2001. You don't have to tell me how stupid that was. Not one of my proudest moments. I remember looking back and seeing a native dude stop to tie his shoe. I remember thinking how incredibly dumb that was (considering I was running from bulls in that moment the, the irony of "dumb" wasn't lost on me) to stop and tie a shoe. Of all things! Looked back again and all i remember seeing is the dude spinning in the air head over heels like a rag doll. If you have some sort of masochist notion and want to put running with the bulls on your bucket list - DON'T!!! It's terrifying and not worth whatever rush you get from it. And yes, I have the pics to prove it. Well of the event. Not while running. From a Canon Elph camera on Avantix film.
