DMX was a crackhead bro. So when you hear him rapping about crazy stuff, hes rapping from that perspective, as a fiend hunting for that next hit. Its sad actually. 😢 Even after making so much money, he couldn't get from under it. Sadly he died still hooked and fighting it.
