Thank you so much Madeline! I was able to land a job as a fresh grad, in a microbiology lab without any internship experience. I'm really over the moon and I begin my new work on Monday!! thank u again!!!
I had an interview today and I had been revising by watching your videos, and even though they asked me mostly questions that I hadn’t prepared for just the fact that I’d watched your videos, made me feel confident and more in control of the situation. One thing I’d like to Offer having done a 10 minute presentation before the start of the interview was how much physical and mental energy and interview actually requires and how much it takes out of you and how important it is to be prepared for that and that an interview can be an hour or two hours, then you as the interviewee need to be super prepared, physically and mentally ready for that to be sharp at every moment of the interview Because they can’t be any dips in your attention or energy or concentration I’m a performer in my spare time. One thing that is really useful is to practice an interview and a presentation by standing up and physically presenting it at home in the bedroom or wherever you are saying it all out loud, because that muscle memory will help you when it gets to doing the actual interview. Thank you
🙌🏼I’ve been bing watching these vids the last 3 days. I have had an interview every day this week (it’s Thursday) and I feel like I have done much better than on Monday & prior interviews. 👉I’ve been asked questions just like in the videos…by today I feel a lot better about how I am going to perform & not as scatter brained.🥴 I was getting a lot of interviews, but not getting hired. 🤔I’m 45 years old & have tons of experience! 🤷♀️It made no sense to me why I wasn’t hired! 🤦🏻♀️NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY 🤯🤯🤯 Today will be my 4th interview … I don’t feel nearly as nervous as I have before & I know what I need to convey. Thanks Mad! ❤❤❤
Just wanted to let you know that without your videos I don’t feel I would have been prepared at all for my virtual interview and then my in person 2nd interview! I got the job!!! Thanks!!!

Hi Madeline, I just want to thank you for your content. I recently applied for a job whose interview was tough to crack. Almost one hour interview process. With the tips from your videos and layouts you provide, I was able to get selected, Thank you so much. Your videos are so helpful!!!!!
Hello Madeline, this is a BIG THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge and going over many different important topics that are usually overlooked. And doing so in such a professional manner. Loved your energy and good vibes. Please add me to the list of job scorers!
So I am currently job hunting and I know I have a lot to learn about acing interviews and making an impression at career fairs (because I don't enjoy networking) , this has become my favorite RUclips channel. I like cooking and really became a fan of another channel- shout out to Chris from Caribbean Pot, but in this season of my life, your channel is my go-to. I really feel like it is the place to go for guidance. I really love your spirit too. I feel like you're the nice chick next door that I might not typically find myself hanging out with, but when I interact with you and get that great advice, it is like my wise big sister or good friend giving me advice. This is a totally platonic comment btw. Ugh..My right eye is moist.Ok, the book is done. LOVE your channel.
I have the second round of an interview process tomorrow morning, with a Director, and your videos have been helping so much, just wanted to say thank you! I hope you have an idea of how much you help people, you are amazing.
Hey how did your interview go? I hope it went well 👍 I have an interview tomorrow with 4 people from associate all the way to director of Finance 🙃 Hoping it all works out 🙏🙏🐟
@@cinnamon5187 I had the last phase yesterday, I presented a marketing strategy with 30 slides yo the whole team. Now I'm waiting and hoping it will work out. They said they would give me an answer this week.
@@cinnamon5187 and your process? I hope it works out for us, but, if it doesn't, it is important that we don't give up. It is just one company, one role, it does not mean that we don't have value.
One of my interviewers once asked me for 10 strengths and 10 weaknesses...I only prepared 3 of each. She really waited till I came up with 10 of each and she was counting 😵
I liked this video, it's really helpful and clear. I also liked the "greatest weakness" video, that's also helpful. My personal request for your video is that I wish the door is not in your background as I always feel like someone is going to come through the door, especially as it's not fully closed. I have an interview tomorrow, thank you for helping me prepare.
By far such valuable inspirational content! I am gearing up to interview for a promotion against a number of external applicants. I consider myself the underdog. Any vids or tips on how to how to show that I have huge potential and I’m the best for the role?
I would find useful a video on how to interact with quiet interviwers, just had a couple of whippersnappers interview me and they talked about the company but offered no leading questions or seemed interested in anything about me, and I lack conversational skills too so it felt like a pretty flat interview, they looked through my portfolio but they had little personality and enthusiam like they didn't care about finding someone that their boss had put them in charge of the task and they would just let the whole process slide.

Another great video, thanks Madeline! Btw for the greatest strength and greatest weakness questions, should I prepare three of each or is that not common. I would imagine one of each is more common since there other questions the interviewer would want to get through. Please let me know, thanks!
Usually it’s best to have 3 of each prepared. I’ve have interviewers ask me to describe 3, and other times I’ll already use answers 1-2 for other questions so having that third option available has helped me to avoid repeating
Hi Madeline! Thank you so much for the tips and actionable content! I'm having a question: in your video "What NOT to Say in an Interview - Top 12 Things", you mention that we shouldn't stuck on old ( > 3-5yrs) accomplishments, does it apply to this question as well? I'm shifting careers after a gap of almost 3 years in entrepreneurship, and I was thinking that the time I displayed that X strength best, is an experience I had as an intern, almost 7-8 yrs ago! (While realizing how long it's been, I now feel embarassed actually...) I did display this skill in entrepreneurship as well, but the results weren't that quick and I felt the story wouldn't be as clear and concise, actually the 7/8yrs-old story feels much more compelling to me... What would you advise? Shall I go with that old story or should I try to make the most recent one more compelling? Thank you so much, you're among my 2 go-to ressources for job search advice (and you've collaborated several times with the 2nd one actually, and it's possible that I've discovered his work through your channel by the way)! I am interviewing for an analyst job and I would like to say resilience is my greatest strength cause I have had to work under pressure and learn to adjust to how the pandemic has affected the hotel industry. I’m going into a little more depth into my answer but is that answer ok?
For a position requiring the supervision of a team of 10-15 people, would relationship management/servant leadership work in this instance? The only supervision experience I have is supporting the office manager in supervising student workers, volunteer management at the events I coordinate, and years ago when I was a job coach for people with disabilities and acted as a sort of supplementary supervisor as they learned their job tasks.
