@@geeerf7960you need to cover the cpu slot. It is better to let the cpu be there as it is so the water won't get in, the top surface of cpu won't take much damage. Or you can use the cover which falls off when you install the cpu. Just remember that even a little bit of dirt or even soap might damage the cpu slot.

this doesnt damage board untill completely remove water content before connect. peoples are laughing because they dont know the problem. sometimes there is a capacitive effect in between two adjacent pin of IC that will cause abnormal voltage at pin.so the board wont work. if the board used near sea side this capacitive effect can be removed only by washing with water
