- Hi friends! Sorry for the delay in videos but life is so busy! Today I got off a little early because of too much overtime & made it to the thrift store for the first time in weeks. I scored some great goodies & most of them were patriotic/Americana! I can't wait for yall to see my goodies! Hope you enjoy the video!
I love all your treasures you found Jeanie. The books and records are wonderful ❤️. Ray Price was a very popular singer. I believe he started getting really popular in the late 1950’s through the 80’s. He had a wonderful voice and sang beautiful songs. I love the crocks too. Enjoy your afternoon. Wow, you found some amazing items..I loved every piece you purchased..my husband and I, have been getting to do some thrifting lately too..we have found some wonderful items..just gotta share our little blessing..my husband was borned n raised in Florida too, I was burned n raised in Alabama...so we travel alot to get to loved ones Graves in the cemeterys, and have noticed alot of Graves has never had anyone put flowers on there Graves, so a couple of years ago, we felt impressed to start putting flowers, wreaths on easels, on the graves..yes I'm a floral designer, but to buy all the items needed to make the arrangements is so expensive..so we started thrifting wreaths n really good looking flowers, I could add to or revamp, to put at all of the Graves..we found a bunch of fall n Christmas wreaths for 2.99 n 3.99 each..I told my husband, let's buy these..they are in really really good condition..I say that to say this. GOD is so good to us..he's put so many flowers n wreaths in our path..ive already started fixing them n getting them ready for delivery to cemeterys..if we travel by a cemetery that looks like no one visits it, we will stop n put flowers on the graves..we try to do all the holidays for each grave we visit..we buy ceramic teddy bears, for baby Graves too..isn't thrifting so much fun..and too think, we used to hate thrifting 40 years ago...lol..anyway, thanks so much for sharing with us n allowing us to share with you..hope you have a blessed weekend..

Oh my you found a lot of treasures. I Love that cutting board. I have a collection of pieces that have that saying on. I don't know if I told you but I am a Born again Christian. I accepted Jesus in my heart many years ago. It was nice to hear you talk about it. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us. I love all of the old books you found! Hubby and I went to Sam’s in Gainesville this past Wednesday and went by the goodwill and seen that it was closed, so we went to the other one. My daughter and I are planning a day next week to go thrifting in Gainesville, we know about the Goodwill, Hospice, Salvation army thrift stores. Could you please tell me if there is any other good ones? I’ve been binge watching all your videos was so glad to see you had a new one. I just love the way you decorate with all your vintage and thrifted items.

Thanks Ellen! I was unaware of the Salvation Army so thanks for letting me know. I know there are a few other stores but I don't go to them because I am not aware of them or they are mostly clothing. The only other place I can suggest is Restore. If you are ever in Ocala, there are lots there as well (particularly near OTOW). Have fun friend!
