I found that episode quite sad Regina life has been nothing but horrible in the Enchanted Forest, and when she tries to make her own happy ending it doesn't leave her quite happy. Well until Henry comes and makes Regina happy and Emma comes and gives her little a challenge in her life…
well regina deserved it
Prince Henry told Regina (before she murdered him) that she can start again the Enchanted Forest, maybe that would be a chance for her (without the original curse)
Regina had so many chances to leave snow and her father but instead she wanted revenge. she cast the dark cure believing it would make her happy but instead it made her miserable. While everyone in the enchanted forest contributed to her tragic life, she just couldn't let go. Then when she got henry she became overprotective, paranoid( which isn't a stretch) and tormented by the fact that henry just doesn't love her as much as she wants him to. Oddly enough she tells gold that she wanted the people in storybrooke to do what she wants not because they have to but because they want to. In other words she still wants revenge but on the other hand she wants everyone to not look at her as evil, just misunderstood.
I can just imagine Rumpel doing a little snicker as Regina's walking out.

She was already crazy for casting a curse that depressed an entire population just to get revenge on one person. How crazy could you get after that

I was about to say that she stooped being bothered by the repeated dullness of her life because of Henry, but she did adopted him 18 years after she cast the Curse so..

Also, does anyone notice how Regina sounds like Snow's mom when she scolds her?
Regina didn't have to seek revenge on Snow, but she did. She had the chance to leave Snow and her Father, but she didn't. She had power but that only made her happy for a little while. She used the curse for revenge and that only made her happy for a little while. When she had Henry she still felt the need to make shore that everyone else was miserable. At this point it's impossible for Regina to have true long lasting happiness.

if Rumple had known that Regina imprisoned Belle after Regina's curse, Rumple would have been immediately pissed and would have tried to kill Regina.

Actually the writers have confirmed that, Rumplestiltskin remembered who he was when he heard Emmas' name for the first time whilst collecting the rent at Grannys'
It's the reason he wanted to KNOW her name in the first place and why he got uber-crazy when Snow White started to leave without telling him.
It was his loophole to remember.

Toricorn pretty much. Time was frozen during the 28 years the curse was active. So when Emma came and time started things changed
@blanc. Nah, only for 18 years. Henry wasn't affected by the time freeze spell of Storybrooke, so when she got him, every day was a little different because even though Regina doesn't age due to the time freeze, she is able to remember past events in Storybrooke, unlike its other inhabitants. Henry was 10 years old when Emma first came into town and jumpstarted time, so for the last 10 years of the frozen time part of the curse, she was at least able to raise Henry and have different experiences every day.

I mean I thought I'd be a little more you know Regina but hey if this was makes you happy I'm happy for you until Henry comes along and he makes your day's going brighter and more interesting

I knows this comment is late, but the curse had everything set as in 2011 for when emma shows up. the writers adressed this.
