Let's be clear about the whole slipping thing, although I explain in more detail in the video. Yes Neymar slipped right before switching, but as I show in the video, the FG Vapor 12 that he switched out of have the exact same stud pattern as the Vapor 11 he wore the rest if the game! Yes the soleplate construction is different, but that would have nothing to do with the traction. Also, there were several other players in the same match from both teams also wearing the new Mercurials who weren't slipping and never swapped their boots. It's a possibility that he switched because of that small slip, yes, but I think there's much more to this situation than just that.
I think one other reason for Neymar switching from the new vapor 12 boots is the decreased protection he had whilst wearing the boots in regards to the thin material the boots have. Neymar got tripped up quite a lot, meaning his foot may have felt more of the impact than he would have when wearing the vapor 11 with a different material, which is stronger and thicker.
I don’t believe Neymar necessarily had a bad game, but the fact that he had to change boots did have an impact on PSG performance. It’s more likely a psychological thing than a performance thing. Great video though.
Wladimir Bottaro nah it’s better for him to stick with a shoe that he likes... besides none of the copa 17 or 18 models are nowhere the 11pro 2 and 3 line
Chan Chan I agree. I play varsity soccer. I used to love the 11pro 3 line. I tried the ace 16 leather, which was nice, but the new preds tbh, I don't like one bit. Now I've converted to mizunos. Mizunos are so underrated. best cleats ever, nvr going back.
Phoenix12 For some reason when I look down at my Adidas predator shoes they look a little thicker and make me feel slower, so I agree. Loved my hypervenoms. They probably don’t change my game though
I know this might sound like a crazy theory, but listen to the reasoning in this video, because I think there is some blame to be placed not just on Nike, but all big brands and the players that take their money in these major endorsement deals!
I agree with you because at the beginning of the game he wasn’t playing as well as he can but when he switched his boots he played good but not perfect.
There is a matter or comfort that I share with Neymar too. I love Mercurial Vapors and I haven't really moved to a different boot because they just suit me so well, ever since they created the new klyknit I have noticed they are a bit different. Flyknit is just not the same and I have seen neymar having probably that same problem and why he has moved back to Vapors many many times. I have also tried the new models and I did not feel as comfortable with them as when I wear them, so i have also done the switch back and I am sad that Vapors wont be constructed of the same material as before
You're not bursting anything, don't worry. I never said he plays bad because of the boot. You just have to learn different people have different preferences. This is not about which boot is relevant is about what makes you the most comfortable when you're playing and I just expressed a small similarity I've noticed during all these years which also happens to happen to me :) He may need more time but we will have to see. From experience and maybe you can instruct yourself with some of josh's videos or even if you follow your favourite players like me you notice he has switched back to vapors multiple times
Well i know it’s not the same thing when wearing cleats in practice vs when in game but Nike and most brands let pros wear the models way before release date in an all black stealth color
Absolutely, but at the end of the day, if he doesn't feel comfortable wearing them for the first time, which he clearly didn't feel comfortable, but was pressured by Nike to wear them, undeniably that had some impact on his performance.
First time commenter but if you recall in the World Cup against Chile Neymar did the same thing switch from his signature gold Hypervenom to the pink color way... I’d say he’s just superstitious when it comes to the boots he wears especially in big matches! Great video
I agree with you Josh that familiarity is a factor. My little girl had that issue when I bought her new Adult Vapors XI over their older youth ones. They also switched back at halftime. Post game they told me they felt different. A few weeks of training later, she loved them a lot and never looked back. Her quote too me " When I don't even know I'm wearing them then they are great, If I notice a difference the feel distracts me"
Like I point out and show in this video, the new and old Mercurials have the exact same stud pattern! Also, other players in the game also wearing the new Mercurials were not slipping. Sometimes you just slip, regardless of what boots are on your feet.
Boots can’t improve your performance but it can deteriorate your game... that is the reason why boots is at least a prerequisite for optimal performance
i doubt it, because thats basically what a vapor 11 is, if anything they will make a vapor 11 that looks like a 12 like what they did with the hypervenom 1 and 2.
I think there was a combination of things affecting his play. The rumors of him to Madrid, this being his moment to show up and “step out of Messi’s shadow”, also him adjusting to an all new boot in this major game
That's just it! There's enough pressure outside of Nike having him wear new boots for the first time. He shouldn't have worn them to begin with, but I'm sure Nike had some influence on that decision when they shouldn't have!
Out of these top end boots how would you rank them Josh? 1: Nike hypervenom phantom 3 df 2: Nike superfly 6 3: Adidas purespeed 4: Adidas predator 18.1 5:Nike Magista obra 2 6:Adidas nemeziz 17.1 Thanks josh!
I haven't tried the new Superfly, so I can't comment on them. However, all of the other boots you named are all very good. It's a matter of what type of fit and feel that you like that will determine which one you should buy. I don't like ranking boots unless one is clearly better than the other, which is not the case here.
This isn't the first Neymar has done this. Going back to his days at Barca in a match against Man City when the hypervenom 2 came out, during the match he switched back into his hypervemon 1 boots
I really agree with the superstition and the flynit, I love the tajen (spelling is bad) synthetic, and I like wearing cleats I've done good in. Great video!
When neymar switched from the hypervenom 2s to the vapors, i think it was quite obvious that he did not like flyknit, so do you think nike will custom make a mercurial vapor 12 with a synthetic upper just for him? Or at least an upper with a vapor 11 upper
I noticed him stumble several times in the new Mercurial against Madrid and i actually joked how he should go back and wear his old Vapor, which he did lol
I think maybe he doesn't like flyknit. He has also wore synthetic cleats and when he wore the hypervenom phantom 2 he ended up not wearing them. He decided to wear a mercurial like hypervenom.
I agree that Neymar should not have started the game in the new boots. However this may be another hypervenom 2 case where he will be wearing a modified version of the vapor 12 in order to be comfortable and still have the look that Nike wants to achieve
I am real madrid fan and was at that specific game. Neymar did'nt have a bad game at all and like you mentioned before switching boots he slipped 2 times.. so he probably choose to change. as far as I know pros do also have customized stud patterns, so it could be that his old "model" had different studs as well
Hi josh, can you talk about the fact that when the skystalker pack was out, Salah always started the game in the skystalkers but at half time switched the the pyro storms again. And if you didn’t notice then here a new thing
New colorways is a different story. That 99% of the time is down to simply not having the new pair broken in yet or being superstitious. This is a bigger situation because you have the main face of the new Vapor switching back to the old ones 25 minutes after wearing them for the first time in a very important Champions League match. There's a lot more to this.
Do you think it is possible that the situation with these Vapors could be similar to the situation with the Hypervenom Phantom 2 where they change the boot mid-series?
See its not the boots which should be blamed coz ronaldo, asensio, mbappe were also eearing the same boots and they played good. And the actual reason for neymar playing bad is that he has become over confident at psg as ligue 1 is too easy for him
I agree with what your saying, I think your the best soccer/football youtuber. But can not being used to a boot make that much of a difference? And also when are the play test vids of the predator 18.1 gonna be made?
If you're playing at the park with friends, maybe not. In the Champions League against Real Madrid with all of the other pressure surrounding Neymar to perform well, I'd think that wearing new boots for the first time could make a difference.
It's a mental thing to me. Neymar switched his boots after kind of slipping and wasting a big chance. Yes, the stud patterns are the same. But in a game where you have to concentrate 100% on the game, he didn't think about that. I think it's wrong to blame Nike at all. Because after all, both boots have a custom shape and should not impact the performance at all. Neymar just wanted to give the boots the fault. Plus I think that Neymar actually played better in the first half than in the second!
But he did made the decision to switch them though, which only tells me that he wasn't 100% comfortable wearing the new Mercs in the first place and the only reason why he would have worn them was because of Nike. I just think that Nike was a factor here, not the whole of the problems he had.
Lots of different players wore the new Mercurials in this game, but like I mentioned in the video, every player is different when it comes to their preferences, what they feel comfortable with and everything else happening in their lives. There's a huge mental aspect to the game, and the mental stress for a guy like Neymar in this game surely was tremendous. Maybe all of that plus the stress of wearing new boots for the first time was just too much.
Isn't it possible that the stud pattern of the older boots suited more for the Bernebeu pitch? The newer boot + pitch may have been more suited for Cristiano rather than Neymar.
It’s not about the boots it’s about the player you should be able to play in any boot at any time it’s not about the boot it’s about his play I know people will disagree with me but this is my opinion
I disagree. Boots are hugely important when it comes to overall comfort when playing. If you're wearing new boots that you're not used to, that's something that you're actively thinking about when you should be concentrating on other things. Like I say at the very start of the video, it's the player, not the boots, but that is not to say that the boots are not extremely important, because they are.
No its just mental he realized he was going against the person who nike made the cleat for and that made him feel some type of way thats how it is in basketball
You are talking about highly tuned professional athletes. The wrong shoe can have a huge impact on a players game on just the psychological level, not even taking into account comfort and feel. boots won’t turn you into Neymar but boots that don’t “feel right” could keep Neymar from becoming Neymar.
There were like 6-8 other players on the pitch that also wore the new Vap's or Superflys and all of them performed well. So don't see Nike beeing responsible for the bad performance of Neymar.
Like I said at the start of the video, everyone is different. Those are players clearly felt comfortable wearing them, while Neymar clearly did not, but there would have been pressure from Nike for him to wear them. That's all I'm saying.
OMyCodd Not really. He missed every normal open play shot. He scored a pen and a tap in with his knee or something. He choked a few easy chances for a player of his level.
If you think this was the first time Neymar has worn these boots, you're mistaken... These guys get their hands on the prototypes like 6 months ahead of time
Does kroos use the same shoes every game/training? He has used them for a long time, shouldnt they be worn out? Or does adidas make som special old shoes just for him?
I don't think it's Nike's mistake because neymar possibly is asking too much money from them (might even be more than ronaldo) and that is the reason he had to play with the new model.
Braaaaa. give me some custom fitted Jomas. ill hold it down it looks like he had more issues when the upper came into play. perhaps he is use to the pingy feeling on ball rather than flynit
Think about it this way, with a split sole plate there's nothing under the arch whilst with a full sole plate there's a lot more stability. But I guess we can all have different view
Sometimes you slip, regardless of what boots you're wearing. Players slip in every game, it happens. Both boots he wore in this match had the exact same stud pattern.
i think he's not had enough time to break in those boots. sure he's been wearing the blackout versions of the boots, but still, neymar only manages to play in them for one day, while cr7 had them slightly longer. in fact some pros would wear the same boots for 3-4 weeks before nike handing out a new one.
There was a reaction to that deflection. I don't think it just hit him. I understand if you don't like the guy, but you can't discredit 101 goals in the Champions League.
He played well first half, it’s probably just a mental aspect/superstition that he went and swapped out. I always have to wear the same socks I score in! So I can blame all my short comings on socks and not myself 👀
Sometimes you slip, regardless of what boots you're wearing. Players slip in every game, it happens. Both boots he wore in this match had the exact same stud pattern.
Let's be clear about the whole slipping thing, although I explain in more detail in the video. Neymar got tripped up quite a lot, meaning his foot may have felt more of the impact than he would have when wearing the vapor 11 with a different material, which is stronger and thicker.
There is nothing protective about the Vapor 11. They're the thinnest boots out there right now.
Soccer Reviews For You but how Isco did a good performance with the same cleats as Neymar
I don’t believe Neymar necessarily had a bad game, but the fact that he had to change boots did have an impact on PSG performance. It’s more likely a psychological thing than a performance thing. Great video though.
As soon as Neymar switched from Vapor 12 to 11s, I knew you would make a video on it haha
Fabricio VC lolll
talking about not making switches to top end latest shoes. Toni Kroos and his Adipro lol
I would like to see him playing in some Copas
Wladimir Bottaro nah it’s better for him to stick with a shoe that he likes... besides none of the copa 17 or 18 models are nowhere the 11pro 2 and 3 line
Chan Chan Yeah yeah i know, it's just for curiosity, i wonder how he would perform on those shoes
Neymar to Joma??
confirmed
beastypie99 How
beastypie99 😂 lol
More like Puma..
This video is co-sponsored by Adidas.
MOHAMMED ZUBAIR LOL
MOHAMMED ZUBAIR 😂😂😂
MOHAMMED ZUBAIR 😂😂😂😂 so true
Checkmate
HAHA LMAO U HOT THAT RIGHT
Did anybody here actually watch the game? Neymar was the best player on the pitch
Finally I see sense
Its cuz he couldn't dive properly with the new vapors so he had to switch.
Metroidkid 97 real fanboy
Metroidkid 97 was mesnt to laugh or some shit? U real fanboys gota fuck urself wait for leg 2 n ull cry in that corner... stupid bitch
SanDoesPvP well it wasn't meant to make you butt hurt
SanDoesPvP all Imma see in the second game is Neymar diving ,homeboy
Erikfcc why would he dive hell let the keeper make the saves
He changed the boots after he missed a great chance to score when he slipped right before shooting the ball. It has to do with the stud pattern
The boots he switched into have the exact same stud pattern. I go over the details in the video.
Juan Antonio I
Juan Antonio L
I fell like there being no plate in the middle makes you slip a lot of you land differently on the pitch.
Don't these shoes exist in soft ground versions?
It could have been a superstitious thing
Phoenix12 He have a few slip..
Phoenix12 For some reason when I look down at my Adidas predator shoes they look a little thicker and make me feel slower, so I agree. Loved my hypervenoms. They probably don’t change my game though
give me a pair of new cleats, ill play fine.
Take on the pressure of Neymar in a game like this, and it's a completely different story.
I agree.
skinnymon123 yep
he should of switched into some under armour spotlights 2.0😂😂
I know this might sound like a crazy theory, but listen to the reasoning in this video, because I think there is some blame to be placed not just on Nike, but all big brands and the players that take their money in these major endorsement deals!
I agree with you because at the beginning of the game he wasn’t playing as well as he can but when he switched his boots he played good but not perfect.
No excuses... everything you said is based on speculation. Ronaldo played well in his boots so just stop, anything you say is BS.
Optic Pete neymar and cristiano ronaldo are not the same player
There is a matter or comfort that I share with Neymar too. That's the same shoe in a different colorway though. It's a little bit of a different situation here.
Sr4U is awesome and informative!!!
Let's be real here. Neymar sucked because he was playing against a quality opponent instead of some ligue 1 rec team
Let's not blame the shoe
nahh hes played against madrid before he knows the drill.
hamanifj and it starts with bending over. And preparing for the dive of course
hamanifj he was with barca then
WTFx yeh farmer league
I agree with you Josh that familiarity is a factor. My little girl had that issue when I bought her new Adult Vapors XI over their older youth ones. They also switched back at halftime. Hey i tweeted you about this during the match! Cool that you made a video about it. Cheers Tim
I think the traction one is the one that makes sense because with the new vapors the bottom has flynit which wouldn't do the best on wet grass
Like I point out and show in this video, the new and old Mercurials have the exact same stud pattern! Also, other players in the game also wearing the new Mercurials were not slipping. Sometimes you just slip, regardless of what boots are on your feet.
CR7 must of told him after the game to join the Superfly Club!😂
Boots can’t improve your performance but it can deteriorate your game... that is the reason why boots is at least a prerequisite for optimal performance
I think nike will make him a heavily modified vapor with teijin synthetic as the upper
i doubt it, because thats basically what a vapor 11 is, if anything they will make a vapor 11 that looks like a 12 like what they did with the hypervenom 1 and 2.
hamanifj neymar the 1st hypervenom . and thats what i was saying bro
I can't wait for those
Lets be honest he played the mighty Real Madrid not some farmer's in a pub league
I noticed that he changed his boots in the game and I was gonna comment telling u what happened and if u can do a vid abt it in ur last vid
2 videos in one day... AWESOME!
See I wasn't crazy for seeing his boots change randomly 😭😭
I just had an ad from Nike before the video. Priceless
Soccer Reviews For You most definitely! Kind of like the launch of the first superfly. Btw Josh you are the Goat of boot reviews 🙏🏾
Out of these top end boots how would you rank them Josh?
1: Nike hypervenom phantom 3 df
2: Nike superfly 6
3: Adidas purespeed
4: Adidas predator 18.1
5:Nike Magista obra 2
6:Adidas nemeziz 17.1
Thanks josh!
I haven't tried the new Superfly, so I can't comment on them. However, all of the other boots you named are all very good. It's a matter of what type of fit and feel that you like that will determine which one you should buy. I don't like ranking boots unless one is clearly better than the other, which is not the case here.
Do more of these videos there so good
( Thankyou so much for the like Josh👌👌👌)
Any of the high tops fuck me up lol tbh I don't feel as light with hightops .. or quick
He also did this when the hypervenom switched from 1st generation to 2nd.
This isn't the first Neymar has done this. Going back to his days at Barca in a match against Man City when the hypervenom 2 came out, during the match he switched back into his hypervemon 1 boots
What about the lack of flywire cables? 🤔
What about it?
I think it's the boot to some extent.. Especially the fg version. Dembele for Barca was slipping all over the place, he was wearing blackouts
The stud pattern, whether it's FG or SG, has not changed from the last gen to the new gen of Mercurials.
I really agree with the superstition and the flynit, I love the tajen (spelling is bad) synthetic, and I like wearing cleats I've done good in. Great video!
Never even thought of that
When neymar switched from the hypervenom 2s to the vapors, i think it was quite obvious that he did not like flyknit, so do you think nike will custom make a mercurial vapor 12 with a synthetic upper just for him? Or at least an upper with a vapor 11 upper
He never wore Flyknit boots when he made the switch. He wore the Vapor 11.
I noticed him stumble several times in the new Mercurial against Madrid and i actually joked how he should go back and wear his old Vapor, which he did lol
I wish I had those black and orange hyper venoms in the back 😭😭😭all I have is the World Cup color way and they don’t fit anymore
Neymar play with them day before and ronaldo play with his a week before
I am real madrid fan and was at that specific game. Neymar did'nt have a bad game at all and like you mentioned before switching boots he slipped 2 times.. so he probably choose to change. as far as I know pros do also have customized stud patterns, so it could be that his old "model" had different studs as well
Some pros do wear different stud patterns than the retail version, Neymar does not.
Official! Neymar to Umbro!
There's a lot more to this.
Hi josh do you know if NIKE are making a lower tier version of the 360 ?
Many thanks
Yes.
Do you think it is possible that the situation with these Vapors could be similar to the situation with the Hypervenom Phantom 2 where they change the boot mid-series?
No, because other players are wearing them without any issues. Every player feels comfortable wearing different things though.
What are the best "speed" boots right now if we're talking from a value perspective?
The Vapor 11 on sale.
wow This was a great video idea
Hey josh, do you think Neymar will get a camouflaged vapor 11 in the launch color way for the return game in Paris? 🤔
We'll see what happens I guess.
He didn’t play bad he was one of the best in that game
I noticed it too and i had the same problems i just bought them and in the middle is like so slippery
Does neymar have the normal retail stood pattern on his vapor 11 or is it different to the 360?
They're exactly the same. He wears the retail FG stud pattern.
I was talking about this in the comments!!
Butt Ronaldo wears the same boots
Lots of different players wore the new Mercurials in this game, but like I mentioned in the video, every player is different when it comes to their preferences, what they feel comfortable with and everything else happening in their lives. There's a huge mental aspect to the game, and the mental stress for a guy like Neymar in this game surely was tremendous. Maybe all of that plus the stress of wearing new boots for the first time was just too much.
Ronaldo's feet are not the same as Neymar. What works for Ronaldo doesn't mean it will work on other players.
Ronaldo did fuck all in the game... Scored a diving pen and a lucky ass tap-in... Disappeared whenever he had to even fuckin walk....
Can you review the Nike Mercurial Superfly 6 or Vapor 12 indoor model, please?
I will be, yes.
I wish the vapor 12 had the taison synthetic
Bro the pitch was filled with orange Nike boots.
Maybe the new shoes just weren‘t cut exactly to his feet?
Maybe they haven‘t made him a custom-fit variation?
They were custom. All of the pros have their custom pairs. Neymar was likely on of the first to get a custom pair.
Have you gotten the new Mercurial Vapor or Superfly 360 yet?
I should have them this week!
2 vids one day
Isco was on fire🔥🔥🔥 lol
Jaime Ornelas Arciga isco disco all day baby!
Jaime Ornelas Arciga Not he doesn't.
Neymar would have thought that everyone is wearing the same boots and he's no special so he might have changed his boots
Isn't it possible that the stud pattern of the older boots suited more for the Bernebeu pitch? The newer boot + pitch may have been more suited for Cristiano rather than Neymar.
The stud patterns have not changed at all.
When I was kid I always got told not about boots about player 👌🏻
It’s not about the boots it’s about the player you should be able to play in any boot at any time it’s not about the boot it’s about his play I know people will disagree with me but this is my opinion
I disagree. Boots are hugely important when it comes to overall comfort when playing. Like I say at the very start of the video, it's the player, not the boots, but that is not to say that the boots are not extremely important, because they are.
Isco slipped too. And there is the case of Hazard who wore his Flyknit ultra the whole match
Sometimes you slip, regardless of what boots you're wearing. Players slip in every game, it happens.
No its just mental he realized he was going against the person who nike made the cleat for and that made him feel some type of way thats how it is in basketball

Was it just me or did it look like Giovanni Lo Celso had some kind of Puma Future low cuts or had cut the collar in this game?
They make a low-cut version of the Puma Future.
Soccer Reviews For You Oh I actually didn't know that.
Ronaldo did fine in the same boots haha
Ronaldo has always worn superfly´s, he's already used to flyknit
They're custom to his foot, and he's used to it already. Neymar is new to the flynit upper. It might've been a superstition
he scored a pk and a rebound it's not like he controlled the game
OMyCodd Not really. He missed every normal open play shot. He scored a pen and a tap in with his knee or something. He choked a few easy chances for a player of his level.
If you think this was the first time Neymar has worn these boots, you're mistaken... These guys get their hands on the prototypes like 6 months ahead of time
Does kroos use the same shoes every game/training? He has used them for a long time, shouldnt they be worn out? Or does adidas make som special old shoes just for him?
I would imagine that he has multiple pairs.
When are the mercurial downgrades coming out
It's looking like they'll be available towards the end of the month. There really isn't an official date yet though.
February 26
I don’t even think that Neymar had a bad game, he just lacked end product
I wear the phantom 3s DF I did the exact same with the Magista opra 1s I switched just before the match...I haven’t switched types since
I could’ve sworn that he was using soft ground studs on the 11s and firm ground on the new mercurials and that’s why he was sliding around
Nope. They were both FG and both the same stud pattern.
But don’t forget that training and actual game time is two major different things
Absolutely.
Are you sure he wore no SG Soleplate after the switch?
They were both FG. Look at the pictures.
Soccer Reviews For You oh yeah, you are right
I noticed Isco kept slipping , he was wearing the new mercurials too
Sometimes you slip, regardless of what boots you're wearing. Players slip in every game, it happens.
Man was ice skating out there man
Hey I normally play football on an astro turf pitch / grass should I buy FG boots ? Or FG and astro turfs (2 boots) ?
One for each surface would be ideal.
I don't think it's Nike's mistake because neymar possibly is asking too much money from them (might even be more than ronaldo) and that is the reason he had to play with the new model.
Braaaaa. give me some custom fitted Jomas. ill hold it down
it looks like he had more issues when the upper came into play. perhaps he is use to the pingy feeling on ball rather than flynit
Ronaldo, asensio and others had it too. And neymar tested them before the game too...
Everyone is different though. Just because I like and feel comfortable in a particular boot does not mean that you'll have the exact same experience.
The newer vapors have a split sole plate ? Could that have not been the reason?
I don't think so.
I agree , a split sole plate is not “the same”.
Think about it this way, with a split sole plate there's nothing under the arch whilst with a full sole plate there's a lot more stability. But I guess we can all have different view
Josh if you watched the whole game throughout the 25 minutes Neymar was playing he was constantly slipping with the vapor 12’s
It’s obviously just psychological. But some boots are more comfortable than others.
I think Neymar was prepared for the situation to not feel comfortable in Vapor 12s because he had Vapor 11s near to be changed to any minute.
100%
Well Cristiano had the same boots as Neymar and scored 2 goals against PSG on the same game
Use said ronaldo had a successful game? You mean his knee that poached a goal
There was a reaction to that deflection. I don't think it just hit him. I understand if you don't like the guy, but you can't discredit 101 goals in the Champions League.
Soccer Reviews For You your so right
Arihiroki you mad? CR7 the undisputed 🐐
Arihiroki LOL blame keeper Mr Salty.
You mad 🙄
He played well first half, it’s probably just a mental aspect/superstition that he went and swapped out. I always have to wear the same socks I score in! So I can blame all my short comings on socks and not myself 👀
Ronaldo hat trick first game in the new Superfly! and 2 goals in the second game!!👌🏽⚽️
The reason for the switch was because he slipped on the pitch him and Isco wearing the mercurials slipped as well
Sometimes you slip, regardless of what boots you're wearing. Players slip in every game, it happens. Both boots he wore in this match had the exact same stud pattern.
