Måneskin fans remember when the jury of x-factor in Italy told Ethan (the drummer) that he sucks - now look at him, everyone calling him an amazing drummer. I’m so proud of him ❤️
Yes - (sorry for my language, i don't study English in school) - but in a few weeks the same jury said "the drummer is the one who has made the most progress in the show" And the band was clearly the favourite of the jury, ever.

That judge said that the drummer was lame and not up to par. Maybe Ethan wasn't up to speed that day. But that judge wasn't just an idiot, he was their mentor, he taught them a lot, he performed with them in Sanremo and he's like a big brother whom they consider the honorary fifth member of the band.
I love everything about måneskin but my fav thing is and will always be Ethans drumming skills

Damiano is a world class frontman and his voice is so unique, raspy but clear and powerfull...he can rap and also can belt it out. You should check torna a casa the unplugged version ( that version is a masterpiece and damiano is so fully invested in that song), also la paura del buio from radio italia is a must and showcases the versatily of Damiano.

absolutely! they're history in the making. i adore them so much because they're such a fine example of seeing people who are truly in their element and generating such success because they found their calling. and at such a young age too! if they're already this mesmerizing and skilled, imagine what they'll look like in 10 years.

Totally agree, I fear they make poor choices in order to be popular and end up being just that, instead of a serious big band. I think they could drop just a little tik tok vanity and let themselves be appreciated more easily and clearly by everybody. The talent is undeniable and they've got all the elements to be unstoppable, I am really rooting for them to become huge.
Whoever told you they suck has a problem with distinguishing personal taste and objectively visible qualities (or the lack of them).
I din't want to like them, because they won the silly ESC. But after a few listens I couldn't but admit that they are a real, genuine rock'n'roll band with a lot of musical qualities and a world class frontman.
Do you know that Maneskin at European Song Contest 2021 for the experts jury was 4th ? Only votes of public permit them to win.

Same. To be honest, i'm french and i was very sad for Barbara Pravi, Italy was not my favorite (Ukraine ♥). Plus the whole drama about what happened with Maneskin during ESC didn't helped. But, as usual, i kept watching Eurovision best of etc for the next weeks (months now ?) and I understood. I understood the hard work they put in their songs, all the road they had to do to come here. They are amazing artists. I really appreciate their work.

I love how everyone praises Ethan’s drumming after when at their X Factor audition the judges said the drummer sucked and pulled the band back.
You know they were right. He sucked at those days. Maybe due to those comments he work harder and now he is such a good drummer.
I think as a vocal coach you might like "La paura del buio" from Radio Italia Live. It has English subtitles/translation, and the song has become one of my favorites. Another good one is "In nome del padre".

Coraline is so unique. I’ve been playing this song on repeat and I’ve been crying my eyes out to this song without getting tired of it. Lyrically seen this song is an absolute masterpiece and imo the best song from them.

These guys are the deal of the day! They got the music. the words, the look .....they got everything! Their music is ageless....if you love rock , you love Manikin, regardless of your date of birth!
Singing in Italian means words that always end with vowels, so that the singer can charge full power, extending the vowels at the end of each line as desired without any problem.
The singer has a fantastic set of lungs. Just when you think he should be out of air he pushes out more notes. Our radio stations need to dedicate more air time to this band. All the members are integral to their success
This band is a class act, Damiano is a rock star, no doubt. Italy deserved this by a mile (no offence to the remaining Top10, which was really really good this year - and this tells you how good Italy was...).
They are the best, world's top.

As an Italian I'm doubly glad because for DECADES we repeated ourselves that the Italian language wasn't fit for rock. There were few exceptions like Gianna Nannini and Vasco Rossi, but on the whole rock has always been pretty put aside.
That hook ! Purple Haze tho . Damiano is a pure talented vocal performer ; he is 22 ! I said 22 . Others around 19 -21! Italy reprezent Rock in the world .

His persona, swagger moves, quircky expressions, I mean he was born a super 🌟, his voice is brilliant, simply brilliant and he can sing anything. Pls review their Italian X factor song Beggin andTorna a Casa; amazing versitality. What a gem of a find this Måneskin and still in their early 20's, they are calm, down to earth, tight as glue with eachother, carrying a message of inclusion, I mean, I am just stoked, and so happy for them and for 🇮🇹 for after what the country went thru with Covid19, they deserve all the successes in this world! ♥️😍🤩🥰🙏
That band has worked hard to get where they're at. The singer is smooth, and he's not afraid to try different sounds and runs. I like that the singer has such range, high and that smooth as cream lows. These kids exude energy.

Masterpieces beating your heart: CORALINE and VENT'ANNI. It's a MUST to listen them watching a video with the subtitled lyrics translated into English and reading line by line while the song plays. TORNA A CASA instead, the Official video is a work of art itself and must be watched. You won't regret it.
Some of their songs hitting your body: FOR YOUR LOVE; FEAR NO BODY; NEW SONG; CLOSE TO THE TOP; CHOSEN; BEGGING (cover that tops International charts)...
Others powerful are in Italian and is highly recommended to listen them with the lyrics translated: LA PAURA DEL BUIO; IN NOME DEL PADRE; LIVIDI SUI GOMITI; MORIRÒ DA RE; PAROLE LONTANE...

I don't think that's the reason. The reason is probably because they are recording and everybody can monitor other members sound in their headphones so they are even more perfectly in time and feel with each other. It helps them perform more "cleaner"

This is also the original version of the text of "Zitti e Buoni". For Eurovision a single word was changed, because it's a swear word. Basically, in the original version, one of the verses, when it says "La gente purtroppo parla, non sa di che cosa parla" at one of its repetition becomes "non sa di che cazzo parla" while the music gets stronger. This is the part with the swear word and the whole phrase can be translated as "unfortunately people talk, they don't know what the fuck they talk about". This part of the text was basically censored and made it to be the same as in the other repetitions, which don't have the swear word and can be simply translated as "unfortunately people talk, they don't know what they talk about".
Their name is danish cuz the bassist is half danish and the boys didn’t know what to name the band and just asked her to give them cool sounding danish words and she blurted out ‘maneskin.’
