- Hello friends!
This past Friday and Saturday, Emma and I did our very first 24 hour read-a-thon together!!!
We thought it would be extra fun to pick each other's TBRs (specifically some of our own favorite books that we thought the other person would love as well) and that's exactly what we did!!!
I had so much fun reading some of Emma's favorite books, and it was such a joy to see Emma read some of mine as well!!!
It was such a wonderful 24 hours of reading, laughing, cheering, crying, and inevitably sleeping because Emma and I couldn't fight our heavy eyelids! hahaha

Aww, so sweet that both you and Emma had such a lovely, cosy and wholesome reading challenge together. And read so much! What can be a better way of celebrating friendship than through reading together? Makes me want to do something like that with the bookish friends in my life! xx
I've never been able to actually power through 24 hours of reading but now I am trying to convince a friend to do this with me cause it feels soo much more fun!!!

I completed the April 24 hour read with the Dewey Readathon on Goodreads, I managed to get through 9 books that day, this included 2 full audiobooks. What I really like about a 24 hr read is that it helps with your reading goals for the year. I really enjoyed doing it and will do another soon, I think.

This is lovely. My friends aren’t big readers but at least I convinced them to watch Heartstopper and relate to Carolyn. I’m obsessed with it.

This was so much fun ! May I recommend Dr. Doolittle, by Hugh Lofting it is a wonderful book with talking animals, and many adventures,it is so much better than the movies ! I read The Wind In The Willows as a child..I found his style of writing tedious,it took forever to finish. Willow's face is adorable.
