    I like everything but the seat. It's a little high for my taste especially in rough water. Great job customizing your Unlimited. The light panel is dope! Just subbed!

      Thanks man! I don’t sit down if I’m fishing and I’ve been in some rough water and I can’t feel a difference from original seat to new seat in 1-2’ waves or high winds.

    Out of curiosity how are you charging your lithium battery in the box with the Marinco receptacles?

    • @Nategoodwinfishing

      I open the battery box and plug my battery charger into the terminals? Just like any other battery and charger.

    • @Nategoodwinfishing

      You could also wire up the battery charger with a female receptacle and plug it in that way.

    • @robwelch001
      @robwelch001 5 месяцев назад

      I currently use Anderson connectors and when I charge my battery I have one directly to my charger and was thinking of switching to the connectors you are using in my next build hoping to do the same. My only worry is the posts being exposed vs the Anderson which are a bit more protected.

    • @Nategoodwinfishing
      @Nategoodwinfishing 5 месяцев назад

      @@robwelch001nothing would be exposed. The posts slide into the female receptacle and nothing metal will be exposed. I’ve got alligator clips on my charger so I just hook them to the normal battery posts. I would have to buy another female plug to use the plugs to charge.

      Trollingmotorparts.com for MK endura shaft and transom bracket. In the video I used the bullnose rudder which you can find on google but actually just made a new one with a 6x9” 1/2” cutting board from Amazon. For the new one it was 58$ total.

    Best kayak for lakes ?? Or worst kayak for skinny river ??

    • @Nategoodwinfishing
      @Nategoodwinfishing 5 месяцев назад

      I guess that depends on what your river is like. I don’t plan on paddling or dragging my kayak around ever. I can get in 12” of water with the bow mount down. Slap a rear mount motor and it’s a river kayak. I’m not big on rivers.

    You know nucanoe makes a rudder for this kayak to be used as a skeg different from the foot pedal rudder.

    • @Nategoodwinfishing
      @Nategoodwinfishing 5 месяцев назад

      When I made this rudder for jon boats 12 or so years ago it worked perfectly. When I had my pursuit in 2020 nucanoe didn’t have a rudder so I built the one you see. Now that they have one I don’t see a purpose of buying one when this one works exactly what I want. Last I checked it was 375$ I’ll stick to my 70$ fixed position rudder/skeg.

      41” long and 21” wide of flat deck space to walk around in. They equals almost 6 sq ft of wide open area to be in. How much does your kayak have fully rigged?
