Great plan. I can see this idea taking off, no pun intended. The only issue for me is the generator. How about trying some 100LL in it? Maybe not experiment right before Oshkosh, lol! But you'd want a universal fuel so you could run it continually by the plane. Wear your 40db ANR headsets to sleep noise free too, lol!!
Agree. I’ll get it out soon. For winter, I’m using an HCalory diesel heater which is amazing.

Great video. I have a Shiftpod 2 from 2019. Got this AC and testing inside my house (completely inside, not half in and out) and had a huge amount of water leaking from the bottom. I'm in SF so not hot but a bit more humid by the ocean. I might need to tilt it a bit in the front, but i'm worried this is going to create a huge pool outside my shiftpod. How does this drain for you? Will it create a big puddle? How do you prevent water leakage? Thanks!
The unit drains only on the outside. Since it is on the ground, perhaps a pair of shortened 2 x 4s placed under the unit to elevate just enough to drain would be best. I suppose some type of drain hose would work too.
I'm going to try this set up with a gazelle tent for now. Wish shiftpod would make a connection for this unit at this price point. This is so much better than the portable units with the negative air pressure, not to mention no hoses to deal with. How did you find it to cool in hot, sunny weather? Thanks
I want to say it's a 15 or 20A cord, not heavy, three prong style. AC draws about 600W full ON, and 160W on ECO low fan which is plenty on the SP Mini.
Cool setup! I couldn't afford the 32lb if I could even fit it in the 140, but I guess that's another reason to buy a 180 😅
It’s all about the stuff.

We got the full RV set up this year. But was thinking a lifepo4 battery and solar panels. I think I could get about 4-5 hrs of battery run time.
Would love to see this thing all setup on the inside!

Was used out in the WA desert (yes, we have them) and it performed amazing. No fuss except when the power went out.
Is this the honda eu1000i? What gauge or model extension chord are you running?

Overland? Yeah, way overland!
Not so much but my son just made a camping trip w this setup in central WA with dry and very hot conditions. He was very impressed to say the least.
