And its an automatic? I'd have to go to rehab first for Caterpillar jake brake with straight pipes withdrawal... LMAO. But I love that Volvo sleeper....suuuweet😍
I’m in love with my 18 VNL860. And I’ve driven a plethora of trucks. It’s also sexy, and I’ve never dared used that word to describe a damn semi truck! Nuff said.
Hey big guy you amazing. Having trouble getting back on the road due to a fender bender at a Pilot Truck stop in Kannapolis, NC back in November about 30 minutes from home... Charlotte! Watching you do your thing making now kicking this thing into another high gear to get back on the road. Thanks!
Cool vid......I was going into trucking after my army days but that dream died because of a serious car accident I got into (wasn’t my fault) after I came back from desert storm, had to retire from the military ........stay safe on the road during the day and especially at night. ✌🏾
chad guerassio Jist turned 54 and am thinking about becoming a trucker. I love to drive, and it would be a great way to see the country. I retired at 50 but am bored a bit. To me every haul would be another adventure. Salivating at the Volvo 860, and the Kenworth 990. The Volvo is probably more practical. Have you narrowed your search?
Adam Vincz I love the look of the 990 and if I go flat bed that would be my choice. But at almost 54 myself I don’t know if my joints can handle climbing all over a load to tarp it down. If I go dry van 860 is tops on my list for space and mpg. I have been looking at KW, Pete and Freightliner trying to beat the Volvo.
Adam Vincz I’m starting for company September 3rd in their school and will drive for them for a year and learn the ropes plus pay them back for school. Once my year is up I hope to dive into ownership. Good luck to you Adam, I hope you jump out there with me.
I've been thinking after retiring from the Navy next year, I may take up truck driving. My father drove truck and I always enjoyed going on trips with him. He drive up and down I-5.
Hello question for U I’m looking to buy truck and I really like the Volvo but have heard a lot of bad things so with u owning one what’s your honest opinion on the truck worth it or not
Another great video! What kind of GPS are you running by chance? I was definitely digging that flat screen monitor that you ran the scale approval on. Be safe out there!
Those Bull haulers really don’t like to park in regular parking spaces do they! The cattle must really get upset when they feel the trailer backing up!
So my buddy seems to think he get away with driving a single axle sleeper cab semi with a 53 foot tilt bed truck without a class a so instead he has his truck registered as an rv which isn’t smart because any cop would look at that truck and call it a semi and say he needs class a
Tell something about the navigator on the windscreen. I mean brand/model, capabilities for truckdriving. Is it possible to find a truckstop via POI database?
Apparently, the authorities might have reasons to suspect shipments and can order weight stops along their routes. (The authorities being ATF, DHS, DEA, etc.).
it is interesting how american drivers knows maneuvering with truck. I´m from Europe and we have totally different types of trucks and trailers. Both are shorter. By the way. How long is usually normal truck with trailers?
Well it's similar to driving a pickup with a trailer, but yes much bigger and you have to be very careful at turns due to width length and weight. If you have no experience with trailers I would suggest going to a CDL school, but you can do it without ofc if you are willing to.
Is your truck an automatic or manual shit? How many hp do you have? Do you have the biggest motor? Can you get a Detroit motor? What’s your thoughts? Thank you Dan
HI m8, right at the end of your journey you have a laptop with the violation warning showing, is this a new electronic swindle sheet? if it is can you do an vid clip showing how they work as they are different from the UK system as we use "digital cards" its the same size as a credit card, which slots into a reader which stays there all of the time unless you transfer to another truck or you go home at the end of your shift.
How many check engine lights did you get before you got where you were going??? We picked up a new one in Dallas and check engine lights came in the first 50 miles. Volvo is a electrical nightmare
Provost Motorsports Glad to hear yours is working fine. We’ve got 320k on ours now and we’ve got one issue do to the collision radar on front that can’t seem to resolve so we just keep driving with check engine light on.

a swift truck with fairings still attached... a rare sight...
That's not possible since neither Texas nor Tennessee are available as DLC... 🤣
