I just found this after watching a compilation with short clips of all the Eurovision winners in order. I have loved France Gall for years, and love her winning performance, but had never seen any others (I am from California) until that compilation. Then decided to watch the full version of J'aime La Vie which led me to more searches which led me to this. Super cool and fun and all around positive vibes...the world could use more of that these days. Peace and love to all from California and peace and love to all in Ukraine!!

But it is that young girl, in her cerise pants and her very heavy 80's shoulder pads, that brought Sandra Kim into the vaults of history for all time. I do hope she has the stature she deserves in Belgium,.

Si elle avait gagné pour la France elle aurait eu droit à la carrière qu'elle méritait, à la hauteur de son talent. Malheureusement, la Belgique ne fait rien pour ses artistes et les Wallons dénigrent leurs compatriotes chanteurs sauf s'ils réussissent à l'étranger. Exemple... Lara Fabian et Maurane qui ont dû être stars en France et au Québec pour que les Wallons s'y intéressent. Pfff... Heureusement pour elle que les flamands et les hollandais savent reconnaître le talent des artistes locaux à leur juste valeur !!!
