@@theme.park.videos You have not seen the 2nd LIM launch then @1:11... it not only launches... but also brakes in case it's needed.... it rocks you back and forward to get you through the loop to the turntable.
a breakdown always seems to happen when the droptrack does not work.... too little power left stored when launching 2 trains at the same time? (it requires a lot of power to get these heavy trains up to speed...)
yeah its really sick, Did you know there are actually 11 on the hole track. Its really well made. They can run 7 trains even if theirs a traffic stop and still be fine.
@@ThomasCrow-b9r The dip where you gain some extra speed at the 2nd LIM @1:11 is also a block zone. in event of a problem It also brakes the train and can recover the train again. it shoots you forwards and backwards too to make it to the turntable.
So in der Dämmerung sieht es ja auch cool aus! Nicht hell und nicht ganz dunkel. Da kommt die Drehweiche viel besser zur Geltung und die Effektschiene auch! Irgendwie sieht die Beleuchtung so viel besser aus!
We were there last Thursday, the most intense rollercoaster we've ever been on! I felt mildly concussed for an hour or so afterwards. It's very cool though.
I guess they can switch it on and off independently as well. It would really be a design flaw if the ride would stop when the trick track is not working.
Im gonna be honest after riding it the first time i assumed it was one of those affects that would be too problematic in the future and would probably be turned off eventually. Just seems like its more trouble than its worth.
Hello, are you okay? I have a question. Can I take the clips at traffic jams for my RUclips channel? I would credit your channel. It doesn't matter if you refuse. Good night!
hi, I'm well, thanks. As long as you don't mark it as your own, and credit my channel, I'm ok with it. If you intend to use the full video, I'd rather you link directly to my upload. Cheers.
No it's indeed nothing to do with tangling, it's to make alignment very easy, as you can just have hard stops on both ends of the half turn. Most quick switches have a hard stop on both ends so it can align quickly. I think theme park science made a video explaining how quick switches work, you can check it out if you're interested!
Ist es möglich, dass ein Zug den anderen überholt auf der Drehweiche? Wahrscheinlich lässt das System das aber nicht zu haha Wäre aber lustig, wenn die Züge plötzlich in einer anderen Reihenfolge auftauchen. Is it possible that a train can overtake another train on the spinning platform? The system probably won't let that happen haha It'd be funny if the trains suddenly appeared in a different order though.
keine Ahnung. Aber da sind sicherlich etliche Sicherheitsmassnahmen programmiert, damit so etwas nicht passiert. Wäre mal ein interessantes Thema für die Baudoku gewesen.
What's the point of the turntable? Why didn't they just made a u-turn, like the other parts of the track? And why did they waited so much before the exit block?
A track switch is needed to have the double launch :D if you want to have multiple trains on a double (or triple) launch coaster you need to have a track switch. As for why the long wait, probably some hold-up in the station but I don't know.
the wait at the turntable was actually due to a hold-up at the station, as @dulvelducky said. Normally, you don't see another train on the turntable. If you watch one of my other onrides, you can see the train leaving before the next one goes onto the turntable.
@@Peti817172M no, it is not necessary. You can definitely elongate the track with "continued launches" (that don't part the track into sections), but running 7 trains on the same track requires some kind of "stalling" operation if you don't want the ride to get too long. They have somewhat limited space for attractions and probably the turntable was the easiest way to manage all kinds of issues. But mainly: How would you implement a backwards launch (one of the main standout points) in a continuous track with 6 other trains running it the same time?
the auto programme recovery is impressive to watch, great it can recover itself in some instances.
yes, they really thought this design through!

Pretty cool how thats essentially 3 block zones.

Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun experience.
Did they let you have another go, because I think if it keeps stopping like it this video it kills the enjoyment
no, we didn't, probably because we got the whole ride in the end. But other people who had to get evacuated did get a fast pass.

nevermind you can see it rolling in when you exit the turntable
It truly is amazing what MACK rides gas managed to make here.
definitely! A world class coaster.
Oh wow this is amazing
Voltron really is a technical marvel!
This sort of happened to us today, only with 2 trains though.
from what I've heard, it happened quite a lot during the opening weekend. Don't know how it is now.

Stimmt. Ich bin wirklich gespannt auf den ersten richtigen Night-Ride. Sieht bestimmt toll aus!
I went on it yesterday , we were stuck on the bit before we got flung backwards for 10 minutes due to some sort of technical difficulties
seems the problems still exist. :(

why didn't it go up and down before the first launch
probably broken

Wing seat looks rough
it's hit and miss with the wing seats, and also depends on the rows.
How come second train rotated counter-clockwise and your train rotated clockwise ?
Because otherwise the wires would get tangled unless they use some sort of slip connection where it can keep rotating indefinately.
Because its a circle. You always end up correctly
I don't think it has to do with wires tangling, but to wear it evenly
