Nice! My CBG is 4 string I tuned open G (strings 234) with a 3rd on top (string 1). Still not sure I like the 3rd on the 1st string, but easy enough to mute and play 3 strings with your great videos!
Hell yeah maek, I gotta work on this one..... I've been playing this tune where Lagrange is just picking it differently.... this is great... thanks again
Hi uncle Mark. Who made that CBG and what pickups in it please. I’m 68 and just got my first 3 string CBG. A chicken bone John with single humbucker and a vox mini 5 R amp. And hope to be able to find that sound, it’s awesome. Cheers John 😃😃👍👍👍
finding sound (tone), it's something you will look for your whole life..... I'm still refining my tone. My advice is use gain on your amp and turn the treble/bass settings more bassy.... start listening really carefully to what happens when you adjust your tone knob and volume knob and your amp settings... good luck
Great series of old blues masters. Tip is in the Jar! For the riff, the JLH/Uncle Mark style is a slide down from 3 to 2 on the Hi g. I find myself wanting to do a pull off from 3 to 2. Is that appropriate or is the slide down more "Blues"?
You have to decide what is appropriate, every thing is in play... find your path, remember Jimi Hendrix played train noises in his blues... there is no right or wrong.... Thank you for your support
You are the best 3 string teacher on the tube 👍👍👍

Been enjoying your videos. Just wondering if you recommend any guitar box makers? Or kits?
Rob Wrobel is the builder I trust. I’m not smart or competent enough to do a kit.
Mega. Cheers
Thanks
Do you have any video with your C.Box G in open G but D-G-B
no, I don't. I'm sorry
Lyrics on the floor = barefoot CBG player for page turning. Kind of fits in with the vibe. ;)
Or a job opportunity for small children...
I acually did it that way
@@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson Like I said - the vibe thing...

I don't do tabs...sorry
There are already many tutorials on this song on RUclips. Why do you people keep on making them, when JLH had lots of OTHER great songs?
Because, my friends, students and family want me to teach it. Besides, I’ve more JLH lessons.
Ride on ...luv this song...😃😃😃😄😄😃😄😃😃😃
