Nicki Sun on why she launched TechNicki Speaking

Hello Sunshines!
For the longest time, I've yearned to provide content to help empower aspiring filmmakers in the same way that I yearn to spotlight more faces like mine on the big screen. If you've known me for a while, you'll know that I've always been a champion and advocate of marginalized voices. Growing up as a woman of color, it's always been natural to push for more visibility and representation and it is my mission to provide more opportunities as well. It is part of my identity and at the very core of why I choose to do what I do. We all deserve a seat at the table and I'm trying to build my own damn tables.
If you haven't heard, I launched a second channel called TechNicki Speaking (get it???) which provides tech reviews, tips, tutorials, and interviews catered to the filmmaking and video production community.
