i had a 4runner that was this exact build in a nutshell. some advice for the spray paint job (yes mine was spray painted as well) repaint the bumper and the snorkle and the light bar back to black. the black accents will take add some breakup of the solid green look which will compliment the truck 10000x more and take eyes off of any imperfections in the paint job and will also compliment the new wheels (assuming you go with black) please take this advice as i think the blazer could be badass with some black breakup in the paint.
Can't wait till you put a roll cage and lift on the blaz and crush something again.. preferably the jeep lol maybe a tug of war challenge with the jeep ?

On the green truck you could throw a nice Edelbrock air intake on it. And you could do a 95-98 interior swap. Or retro fit a 99-07 interior line you said.

with the parking brake, try putting your foot under the brake and lifting it up. sometimes the light will come on if the peddle is down a little bit even when the brake is not engaged.
Mike!! I agree with some other people saying that he should go back and paint some black accents like the mirrors, parts of the grille, snorkel, light bar and maybe even the fender flares. It would break up all the green and give it a better look in my opinion. We'll see what he does with it next I guess
One romp threw the mud and sticks and you will have nice black scratches or" pin stripes " down it.... wouldn't have hurt to da sand 80 grit primer it with the army green primer then paint....its a gambler 500 blazer now
Push the ebrake pedal up with ur foot and pull the lever at the same time, then let go of the lever and take ur foot away from the peddle, that should take away the light, I have the same problem with my 98, the linkage needs adjusting

Mike when you pull the brake release push the parking brake all the way in and let it spring up and if the brake light is still on pull the break release and pull the parking brake up with your hand and let go of the brake release that may fix it

Will the blazer roof rack fit the green truck?
Pull the parking brake release and lift the parking brake pedal up. The return springs wear out on those. It may fix your dash light

The paint is going to come right off. You should definitely sand and wash so it’s got a rough surface to stick too.

For the parking brake light sticking on all you have to do is pull up on the foot pedal for it. I drive a 94 z71 and it happens every time

If you want the parking break light to go out lift up on the parking break peddle and pull the release.
