Stolas went from a fancy suppressed-gay horny demon owl to probably the deepest and most relatable character in the entire series.
He's exploring his options at the moment. He and Blitz might end up together but its not bad if he hooks up with other people in the mean time

@Just_niaxx The thing is, Blitzo's dumpings aren't THAT bad, especially when we consider what sorta show this is. We see three examples, well, we see 2 and hear of the thirs: Stolas, Dennis and Verosika's
And when considering what sort of show this is? Stolas and Dennis didn't get it too bad. Especially Stolas who, he himself fucked up just as much as Blitzo did.
'I don't want this to be about sex!' He says when his flirtations with Blitz are all about the sex. The first episode, the Loo Loo Land episode, etc etc. Also the fact that Stolas does not recognize the power dynamic and how belittling he can be without even knowing it. I mean... 'My Impish little plaything' - 'My little Imp'? Just to name a few.
Next is the moment when we get to the night in question. He did not handle it well. First, he takes away Blitzo's only method of making money and providing for his employees, who he cares about... A LOT. This leaves Blitzo distraught and on the verge of tears, BEGGING! Then Stolas pivots and then he pivots again, leaving Blitzo confused. And then, when Blitzo finally opens up about his trauma and insecurities, he stone walls him. Doing exactly what Blitzo accused him off.
Stolas and Blitzo both fucked up on that relationship. Verosika had it worse, dude up and bailed the moment she confessed and allowed herself to be vulnerable.
Then you have Dennis... who Blitzo simply dumped because his name is Dennis, again, nowhere near as bad.
So yeah, they obviously needed to care a whole lot to be THAT petty to hold a party about hating me every year.
And the worst part is, none of them, other then maybe Verosika and Stolas realize that no one belongs to a 'I hate Blitzo'-party more then Blitzo. Only Verosika and Stolas ever got to see the fact that Blitzo doesn't do that willingly but out of a twisted need for self-sabotaging. Everyone is so in their feelings that none of them stop to think that as miserable as they are, Blitzo might actually feel worse... only Verosika and Stolas know this about him.
The fact verosika was so sweet to stolas because of their experience with blitz is nice because she actually cares and felt the same way he did.
Granted Verosika’s actions are in the right place. I just think it’s a little toxic that she is sort of letting the hate and bitterness stew for every new member of this party. The way Stolas was uncomfortable when she stabbed the cake. Granted I understand that people have a right to let all feelings out and such. I also think a healthy way to move on is to not let the feeling consume you. It’s a safe sanctuary but I feel all those people wether their hookups or harbored deep feelings for Blitz deserve peace of mind and to go on with their lives and not let “that one guy” dictate all their hatred when they can love themselves more with time. The scars are there but they don’t define you
@gabymaya1051 that's the greatest things about the psychology of watching TV shows, especially watching Helluva Boss.
The fact that every demon Blitzø has hooked up together to hate on him instead of moving on, can make the audience feel like the demons should do better.

Verosika actually trying to help Blitzø see the error of his ways is sweet. The moment with her really emphasises that she doesn't just want to hate Blitzø to hate him. Sure he's awful, but she's able to finally open his eyes so he can understand it, and why he should.
Hopefully this will be his final wake up call.

The fact that Verosica called him "blitzø" instead of "blitzo" after she realized that he truly was sorry literally killed me.
I mean, she said it before he apologized, though in a mocking tone "aww, poor Bwitzø"
I think Blitz needed this. To be presented with the consequences of his actions with no ability to fight it. Hes stuck in a museum to his shittiness and he has to face it head on.
Stolas song goes so hard. It's sad that everyone is missing the point of blits/stolas. The creator designed their story in a way for both of them to be in the right and wrong

23:13 Fun Fact: Don’t know how y’all forgot but EVERYONE able to travel outside the Pride Ring (1st level of Hell, red sky) is Hell-Born. The Imps being the 2nd lowest class system only above Hellhounds which are more so seen as property by most. Jazz was right on the money saying just because it’s Hell that doesn’t mean you have to be a bad person. Look how much Blitzø envies Moxxie & Millie’s relationship, so much so that he tries to include himself in there. And Verosika being the Hellborn Succubus she is gives her naturally high empathy to view others desires so for her to be vulnerable only to be played when professing her feelings (also note he stole her credit cards and maxed them out on horse riding lessons leaving her with the hotel bill) she has all right to feel such rage and still uses that to help others that feel her pain. Blitzø is a great example of “hurt ppl hurt ppl, but that doesn’t make it right.”
Also, with Ver being a Lust demon(take Ozzie for example), Love is either frowned upon or hard to admit to as one, since probably any and everyone wants you. And also for her to not only admit she loves him, but to have his name tatted on her body is probably an even bigger step. She chose HIM to be her one and only(assuming she’s monogamous)-again to a LUST Demon. And he still did her wrong. Looking back at the other episodes with her, it’s clear why she was so antagonistic to him.
Damn the songs Stolas sings really hit the feels man 😭 See at the end Stolas looked at Blitz before dancing with the other guy, that’s a big thing.

The main thing from I’ve gathered from watching the show is the reason that Blitzø has this inability to take accountability or being able to recognize how his actions harm other people because since he was young the guy (I assume that’s his dad) literally sold him off to a Royal family. He has always been used to be a means to an end from multiple key people in his life. The prime example was his time during the circus where it seem he was never wanted or appreciated so when people actually shows him that genuine emotions towards him he automatically thinks it’s bs and it triggers a defense mechanism. There hasn’t been one time where Blitzø has been honest with himself and peel back the layers on how he truly feels. We get glimpses of it but every time he gets close to doing so he automatically retreats. And I think that’s what Verosika was alluding to because she probably knows that’s an internal problem that he’s going through and that’s why she feels bad for being upset with him. But on that note Blitzø redemption arc is going to be so good

Fun fact: Hell has a hierarchy, Imps and hellhounds are at the bottom that are born in hell, next are Hellborn, similar to hellhounds and imps, but hellborn are ones with higher jobs than imps and hellhounds i think. Than we got sinners who are people who have died and went to hell for doing bad things. Next are Overlords, these are sinners who i believe collected souls or got their way up somehow. Than theres the Ars Goetia, who are people like stolas or stella, i don't know much about them but they are in the middle kinda. Than the 7 deadly sins, people like Beelzebub(Gluttony), Asmodeus (Lust), Mammon (Greed), and Lucifer (Pride) (Note that these are the sins that we were shown, the people we need is Belphegor (Sloth) Satan(Wrath, who is the one we seen in the trailer and will see next episode) and Leviathan (Envy)) Than we have Charlie and Lilith, Lucifer's daughter and bride. But at the top is Lucifer himself, who is in the pride ring with all the sinners and overlords. That's pretty much it on hell's Hierarchy. But hey sorry if i made this too long lol. I think it's a safe bet to say this is the episode that completely tore the fan base in half. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely important that Blitz acknowledges that his actions hurt people and he needs to change, and his apology to Verosika clearly helped her to get some much needed closure, but there's still a lot of things that Stolas did wrong in the relationship that needs to be addressed. Not saying I'm picking sides. I'm just saying they both need to work on their issues.
Also, Martha and Mrs. Mayberry becoming an item was one of the funniest plot twists I've seen up until this point in the series! 🤣
THANK YOU! Cause Stolas is NOT a victim. The whole arrangement was HIS idea and he visibly kept embarrassing Blitz in public and teasing him when it noticeably made him uncomfortable. Then he randomly, without warning drops the ball that he loves Blitz without being more direct in communicating. They both need to get their shit together.

They're not bad people but they need to work on themselves. He technically didn't say he loves Blitz but that he cares about him. I think Stolas was just trying to be endearing. And the teasing part, I think that comes from the fact that Blitz is the first person he's actually liked that he's been in a sorta relationship with so he has no real experience

"It's hell" has already been shown to not be an excuse to be an ass seeing as there are examples of healthy relationships among the cast.

How about the pilot, where even your level of depraved dirty talk drove Blitz of all people to hang up and destroy his phone, or basically blackmailed him into your previous arrangement of sexual escapades so he could use the grimoire, or calling him your "impish little plaything" within earshot when you were scaring off the D.H.O.R.K.S. agents, or baby-talking and coddling him while also downplaying how important his business is in "The Harvest Moon Festival"?
I mean, Stolas certainly isn't in the wrong about how Blitz is emotionally and verbally disrespecting him, but the prince wasn't exactly wholesome in his initial approach either.

the pilot isn't canon but there's still plenty of good examples of Stolas giving the impression through actions and words(that he likely thought were just playful and flirty) that he looks down on Blitzø or was just with him to get his rocks off
The pilot is non-canon now but yeah those other examples really demonstrate how the show is just forgetting how Stolas would treat Blitz in season 1.
yeah he has a long way to go himself but he's allowed to be hurt for now. he just better improve all the internalized classism

@@saibot7962 i think it's a lot easier to pick up on that stuff on a rewatch. I've seen it said that on the first watch through you're on Stolas' side(or at least, for most people it's easier to pick his side) but on the second watch through you pay more attention to Blitzø's perspective and realize how complicated and messy it is on both sides. Blitzø is very shouty and angry, he tends to lash out and hurl insults so it's very easy to see the ways he's in the wrong but Stolas' stuff is a bit more subtle.
Did Blitzo feel uncomfortable with it. No Blitzo enjoyed it because he was wanting the book. Blitzo likes the sex. If Blitzo felt uncomfortable at any point, with the sex I would agree with you but Blitzo never expressed uncomfortable towards the sex but rather towards Stolas being affectionate with him in later episodes.
Facts but everyone gives Stolas a pass cause he’s the “uwu baby boy owl” like no!
I would like to point out that Stolas has in fact looked down on blitz before. He even once put out a cigar on Blitz horns calling him an ittt bitty imp and even if Stolas didn’t see it that way. That side of Stolas is what Blitz had to deal with the most. 4:03 (still both need a break for sure tho). So Stolas didn’t help Blitz with that “royals look down on imps” mentality in the beginning of their situationship.
Its so refreshing to finally see Blitzø start to see his actions and how awful hes been.
Although I do hope (and it looks like we will) we see Stolas take accountability for his side too. With him and Blitzø's relationship specifically it *is* partially on him after all.

After seeing this hope stolas gets his own episode as well putting him in the spotlight as well pointing out his mistakes so they can both equally grow and become better for themselves and each other
Blitzo spends so much energy hating himself he doesn't leave enough to let someone else in to truly let himself be vulnerable choosing this violent nature as a outer shell to protect himself from getting hurt the way he hurt others
Never forgot, Blitzo made a crap ton of mistakes, but Stolas did have a lot of time treating Blitzo like a plaything rather than a real lover

So Basically, Stolas get mad at Blitz, Blitz mad and sorry, They argue, Stolas interested in 'hate party for him', Blitz says hes going on a "apology tour", Stolas goes to party, Blitz goes on apology tour, after, he follows him to party to apologize to people, Stolas interested in another guy, Blitz mad and sad.
To be fair, before season 1 episode 8 Stolas 100% looked down on Blitz.
