This is best story that I have ever seen on youtube. This is where optimism and imagination go head to head with futility. Bravo, bravo, bravo.

Hand made musical instruments? Wow this shows some dedication to music. Hater going to go hate because they can make their own instrument. That's why they are called haters.

This is so amazing! I hope that they are able to come somewhere near pensacola, Florida! There is an amazing theater here that would be perfect.... With a little heads up I could help pack the place out. It makes me so happy to see that there are people like the teacher that do the things he does. Everyone should take a page from his book and maybe the world would begin to be a better place. Keep it up guys and I wish you all the best of luck! Hope to get to see you all one day!

Did they ever make it to, or going to Arizona soon? I live in AZ, and as a musician and would love see them, not only for the performance, but to meet the amazing group and maybe bring some of my clients (I work with disabled children/young adults). This is wonderful, and very inspiring! What a wonderful leader, too.

I am paraguayan and I can tell you that they are people whose family that are very poor, even a cello can cost more that the house where they live. I, as a paraguayan, I am proud of them. Now they will open the concerts in South America for Metallica.

Being from paraguay I know certain aspects from them. It is real the situation of the hard enviroment that they live. Now that they were invited by the Spanish and Dutch royalty foundation, they are very famous. And the group received money from the Paraguayan Congress. Can you imagine that, the paraguayan congress that are very mean and extremily stingy. The paraguayan congress that never supports the education and if there are scholarships they give them to friends, relatives. So this was a big step, the Children's Orchestra had to make famous to get that. I am proud of them. And I always ask the director to keep its esence. Now that they are very famous, probably people who have a lot of economic resources will want to be part from that orchestra, so that they can travel. I ask the director that, please, continue giving hope to children and people who dont have a lot in my country, Dont never let in people who are rich although they are talented. There is a lot of poberty in Paraguay, and even those who are from the congress do not care that. If you come to Paraguay you will find political party building everywhere, but we need libraries, that are usually very far. I am very happy of this group because they knew how to deal with the difficult situation that there is in my country

"now my grand-daughter is fulfilling MY dream?" now I CAN die happy" That sounds like bullshit of a grandmother...
