- Woo, we did it! Our first (of three) weddings, starting in Hong Kong and what an [smooth*] experience this was. From heading to the village for tea ceremony with Justin's maternal grandparents, to turning heads during photoshoots, to ending the celebration with family and friends at the rooftop bar, we could not have asked for this day to get any better.
*so smooth compared to our Nepali traditional wedding, you'll see what I mean in the coming episodes!
A HUGE thank you to our parents, relatives, photographers, the hotel staff and last but definitely not the least, my girl Kristina! This whole day would not have been the same without her at all, nor would we have this video.

At long last so, so lovely to see the bride & groom looking absolutely stunning in traditional wear. Have always loved the Chinese wedding all done in red.
Sadly, these days everyone doing white regardless of denomination is not my cuppa.
Also what a beautiful no fuss nor extravagant frills but joyous celebration. Most weddings these days emphasises more on pomp & show, side lining the true essence of fun, family, love & most importantly; the moment!
Here in Ktm it’s exhausting these days! A case of who did it better & bigger. But aah well am just an old lady with niggling thoughts.

& OOF, agreed with you on the 'these days, it's a case of who does it better and bigger'. Even in my recently experience in KTM, I was getting extremely frustrated at teams (such as Decor), who was only presenting and wanting to do the 'BIG' western style decor, 😭 like I just wanted simple-traditional decor. LOL - at the end, regardless of my ask, they still did their own thing (🤷♀).
Can understand your dilemma!
But loved your Ktm wedding too.
Most things out here are out of our summation due to social norms et al.
